LETTER FROM MELBOURNE, MARCH, 2015 Dear Friends, I am preparing to leave for Africa on Easter Tuesday, 7 th April. I hope to be able to give many more bibles this year, as well as soccer balls, to the village churches. Showing the Jesus Film in the villages has yielded a good harvest, so the need for more bibles is always there. There were 5 new village churches last year. Now there are 22 village churches- --a direct result of showing the Jesus Film. The sewing machines were received with great joy, and I hope to be able to give more of them to village churches this year, to assist their members in being financially independent. It was wonderful last year to see sewing machines given previously being used by villagers. I hope also to be able to build on the nutrition, sanitation and hygiene advice given in the past. To those who have already contributed financially to this coming year s needs, thank you. Many Zambians will be grateful. If you would still like to contribute, you could send me a cheque, give via the church envelopes (where available) or credit my mission account in name of Elizabeth Hawthorne------Westpac Bank BSB 033-086 Acc. No. 35-6227 Please put your name in the credit so I can put donor names in bibles. PRAYER POINTS Please pray that my preparations for departure go well. Pray for travelling mercies. Pray for me when I am in Rustenburg, that there is efficient servicing of the Land Cruiser and generator and provisioning for the mission. May the Lord of the Harvest guide, guard, keep and bless you, With love in Christ, Liz Hawthorne.
