2 It was going to be a tough task trying to beat Tom Terrific anyway, but on top of the horrible defensive display, the Aerial Assault continued its mediocre play, unable to score touchdowns and continually settling for field goals, one of which was missed (right after the announcer pointed out that Lutz had made 17 in-a-row, so thanks for the jinx CBS) and now the Saints are now in a dire situation, going into Carolina next Sunday, trying to avoid going 0-3 against a divisional opponent, as well as, avoid the next level situation, which I refer to as The Hot-Seat Situation and that s if nobody s in the hot-seat already. Of course, there was the one time they didn t settle for a FG, when they went for it on 4 th and 3, but instead of running a quick slant or something (just to get the 1 st Down to keep the drive alive) they went deep downfield which resulted in an incomplete pass (that should ve been caught). On that note, Coach Payton has to decide what he wants to do with Allen and the other defensive coaches that were brought in this offseason to change things because so far it s not working, and now, the Offense is having trouble, so something s gotta give. Just in the first half, Brady had 302 yards passing and 3 TD s. That s ridiculous. He might as well have been playing against a college team at The Dome on Sunday or a team from Cleveland. The Cleveland Saints. In fact, I remember mentioning in a newsletter from 2015 about how we were no longer the New Orleans Saints, but rather, the New Orleans Raiders, because that s how bad we played on that day. I think it was the loss to Tennessee and their rookie quarterback or somebody else s rookie quarterback, it doesn t matter. My point, is that now the Raiders have their act together and they made the playoffs last year, and now, their off to a 2-0 start. So, now we look like the Cleveland Saints. Or how bout the News Orleans Jags? Oh wait.jacksonville S GOT A DEFENSE!! But I digress. Offensively, Coach Payton s got to do something about the run/pass blocking by this O-line that s no longer the pro-bowl line we had for so long, especially with the injuries at tackle, but that s obvious, however, what is surprising is the game-play of the Receiving Core because these guys are dropping passes and running the wrong routes??? What the hell is going on over there?!!

3 Not me, SaintsGuy. I haven t played yet. The Snead Then factor in the O-line being unable to protect Brees or open holes for the running backs and all of the sudden, now our Number 1 offense, looks like it might finish in the range this year. Not to mention, I m still waiting for this monster to awake. I call it GRAMKAMASON

4 ON THE BRIGHT SIDE: Our Number #1 draft-pick shutdown former receiver Brandin Cooks for much of the game before he left with an injury (concussion). Depending on who you want to fault on a score given up in zone coverage, his play versus Cooks for the most part was superb. So much so, that at one point, a visibly frustrated Cooks proceeded to partake in some extracurricular shoving with Lattimore after a run play. Most people can agree that Cooks is a pretty good WR, so to see Lattimore shut him down in that manner has to be a positive thing going forward. Having a CB that can shut-down a team s best WR is a positive for this Defense, when there aren t that many things that are positive. ON THE DARK SIDE: Not much went right for the Saints on last Sunday, and while I could make an extensive list of what those things are, it s getting late and I ve got to get up early to go to my other job, crime fighting. Hey, there are a lot of evil team fans in this town. So, now there s 14 games left on the schedule for the Saints, and from a football standpoint ( Any Given Sunday ) there s time to turn things around. But, a stat that I ve mentioned before since these horrible starts began, says only 12 percent of teams have a shot at cracking the postseason after starting 0-2. To be exact, only 27 of 222 possible teams have made it dating back to These Saints have yet to deliver any promise. There was a point where it felt necessary to be optimistic about the Saints and their chances to rebound, but now we know better. The month of September continues to be a minefield for New Orleans, as they ve turned in a 1-11 record since Glad I didn t buy those tickets to last week s game.

5 At best, Sean Payton s squad could win their next two contests to pull to.500, but having to do so on the road against Cam the Sham and his kittens and an extended road trip to London. But beating the Panthers in itself poses a problem for the Saints, as they re just 1-4 in their last five outings at the sinister Bank of America Stadium, proving again, that the dark-side of the force is strong with the League of Evil. Recently, safety Kenny V has been a focal point of trade rumors over the past couple of days, and things didn t really help his spotlight on Sunday against the Patriots. The team surrendered a whopping 555 total yards to the Brady Bunch. It s frustrating. I don t know how many yards we gave up in the passing game, but we kinda knew. I mean, they have an explosive offense, but at the same time we have to execute on defense and do our coaches game plan Vaccaro said. Regarding the trade rumors, Vaccaro was quick to acknowledge them. I mean, you try to block them out. But at the same time, I m on this team. Until something changes, then that s when you make a move. But right now, I m focused on the next game. I was focused on my game plan last night, all week I ve been focused. In his post-game press conference, head coach Sean Payton didn t exactly provide any answer that suggested the Saints were against trading their fifth-year safety and former first round pick from Payton mentioned that it wasn t unusual for teams to call about positions of depth. Nothing surprises me. I mean, anytime a GM gets a call, they re going to ask what are you willing to give? Because no player is indispensable except for quarterbacks and certain players across this league, Vaccaro said. Vaccaro, who was benched at times in the second half of action, did not seem to know why. I don t know. I don t know what happened. I don t know why I got pulled out the game. I didn t understand. Vaccaro added that nothing was explained to him, as second-year safety Vonn Bell entered the game to take reps away from him. Listen. I ve been here for the last four years. We haven t played up to par on defense, and I understand how it goes. Obviously, I ve gotta be better. My preparation s gotta be more consistent. Like I said, the game before I had plays I wanted to get back. I take full responsibility for all that and gotta move on and keep pushing. Vaccaro mentioned that Gronk had two really great catches that he remembered, and that the next thing he knew he was sitting next to Payton. Payton s context for Vaccaro s benching was simple, saying that he felt the team needed to get more consistent play and it went back to the previous week against the Vikings. There was consist play against the Minnesota Yikes?

6 Most people will scream coaching, but I personally see guys that are unable to make a play when one is needed to be made. Like, when the Gronk catches a pass and just runs over a defender..oh wait, he didn t run over him. He merely hopped over a guy that was trying to tackle him by grabbing his foot??? Are you kidding me!? Why was Williams not diving into this guy, and thereby, shoving him out-of-bounds to stop the score?!! I started having flashbacks of the 2011 Wild-Card Game when Seattle s Lynch just ran-over our entire secondary for a touchdown which resulted in him being givin the name Beast-Mode which in turn has me having to sit through constant replays of the play by the media WHENEVER he s talked about! Ugh!!!!!! LEGION OF DOOM Sorry, I started having another flashback and became overwhelmed. The disgust that is brewing in me is reminiscent of the feelings I had after the River City Relay or what I call The Jacksonville Miracle. If you recall, on that day, we all witnessed the greatest play (to date) in Saints history (and the #7 greatest play in NFL history according to an episode of SportsNation) that was followed by the worst play in Saints history when Kicker, Jon Carney missed what would ve been the game-tying extra point, sending it into Overtime right after that miraculous play, but instead, the Saints lost. It was at that moment, that I knew that NOTHING would ever change for our team until Haslett and Brooks were both gone. That era officially ended on that day, even though they d both still be around for two more grueling seasons ( ). Now, don t get me wrong, I m not calling for Payton s head or even Loomis but something has to change or we re going to be going down that road again, soon. Can the Saints turn things around? By now, most fans have accepted that we ll probably finish 7-9 again or worse, but for The SaintsGuy I still believe.

7 DID YOU KNOW?: Since the NFL realignment of 2002 and the creation of the NFC South; the Panthers have won the division more times (5) than Tampa, Atlanta and New Orleans. In fact, to the dismay of Who-Dat Nation, the Panthers were the first team to win the NFC South three years in a row (2013, 2014 and 2015) which is easy when you go 12-4 (thanks to the easiest schedule in the league) and have a season (in a year when all four teams have the worst defenses in the league) and then a 15-1 season thanks to Goodell s Zebras blowing as many calls as possible EVERY GAME! The forces of darkness have helped Cam the Sham win! It s a travesty!! - Brees Puppet Did he say DYNASTY? That show was cancelled in the 90 s. - Waldorf No, but he might as well have because 3 titles in a row gets you that. Ahhhahahahaha!! Stadler.And the CRUSADE continues VS.
