The minutes of the June meeting were approved. Report was accepted as presented Webmaster's report. None Correspondence: None COMMITTEE REPORTS LEGISLATIVE: There are some rumblings on upcoming initiatives regarding gun control. Initiative 594, is one on background checks and other items. Initiative 591 (question as to the exact number) has been endorsed by Washingtonians for Wildlife. Please be aware during this upcoming legislative session. WSMA. WSMA gave $1,000 worth of prizes to children at the Pacific Primitive Newsletter Editor Todd Fairweather tmfair@msn.com 0
2 LAND: Maybe a possibility of a Rendezvous site next year in Sultan. GUN SHOW: Andy has the last bill for the show We are overdue for the final recap of the show numbers, but it is being finalized. RANGEMASTER: 5 th Match this month is.22 Caliber Range will be mined in August and will be closed for 2 weeks. The exact dates have not yet been given yet. If the Range is closed during our shoot, we have been invited to the Interlake shoot which is the Third Saturday in August (August 17 th ) NE 97 th Street Seattle. Work Party is held by Issaquah on the 2 nd Sunday of the Month. RENDEZVOUS: Good attendance at the Pacific Primitive (approx. 350 camps). It was outside of Seneca Oregon. Memorial was done for Rawhide. Sequim Rendezvous begins on July 25th. OLD BUSINESS: Cub Scout Day Camp o 30th of July-Aug. 2nd. We would attend on Friday August 2 nd. o Theme: Cubs Go West o We are set up for August 2 nd. 8:55 A.M.-6:15 P.M. o 7 sessions in the morning 7 in the evening. o minutes per session. o We will be able to display muzzleloaders, etc.. o Flint and Steel kits are on order from October Country, and will be arriving shortly. o We will do a drawing to give the 6 flint and steel kits away. o If we have someone who can write an article and put together photos, we could submit this to Muzzleblast. 50 year patch o Steve will follow up with a contact he has from a local high school. The donated print has been framed o We need to identify a location in the clubhouse to hang the print. Club Barbeque: o Discussion was held if we should have a Barbeque. o August shoot is the 18 th. We will have the Barbeque on August 17 th. NEW BUSINESS: Bud was contacted by a local Reporter at the Pickering Barn display in May o Steve is following up with the Reporter o Steve will let her know about the display at the Cub Scout Day Camp. Discussion of investments.

Steve received an regarding a person who is looking to sell some items from his father s estate to sell. First, Second, and Third weekends in August will be the Renassaince fair in Bonny Lake. Montana class on gun building will be held in August. August 24 th is a Gun Maker s Guild class in Olympia. Classes are filled.
