4 Residents of the Month On Mother s Day we take the time to give honor to whom honor is due. A Mother s unwavering love is demonstrated as she accomplishes the many tasks she s given each day. The tasks of being teacher, counselor, chef, nurse, mediator, confidant, and many more unmeasurable responsibilities. Those bitter sweet moments a mother experiences as she watches her child grow and become independent with the hopes that the time she was given was enough to give her children the tools they ll need to flourish. We cherish each step of the way knowing things will not remain this way forever. Happy Mother s Day Jessica Whipple & her mother Diane Kimmerle Lois Cook Hall & her late mother Grace Cook Mother is Love Dedication Counselor Sacrificial Faithful Friend Joyful A Pillar Firm Unconditional Longsuffering Supportive Strong Gentle Mentor ~ 4 ~ Leisa Davidson & her mother Vivian Richardson Mother s Day May 13, 2018 Brook DeVoge & her mother Tammy Empey

7 As always, the Clark County Fair and Rodeo was a hit!!! During this time of year the weather can be unpredictable. Even with the wind gusts we still had a good turnout. A special thank you goes to Commissioner Marilyn Kirkpatrick for donating $5,000 to our local 4-H program and for always being a strong supporter of our youth. Thank you to all of the volunteers and staff who worked tireless hours to make this week a success. Whether that meant repairing water lines, laying seed to ensure the grassy fields would remain lush and green, answering calls or manning booths to educate the public on off-road safety. The joined effort made this week triumphant. THANK YOU!!! ~ 7 ~
