3 Music Notes PASSION PLAY Ray Conway, Minister of Worship It is so hard to believe that our 2015 Passion Play has come and gone! WOW! The weekend of presentations always seems to just fly by. I just cannot express how much each presentation meant to me. Each night different things through the leadership of God s Holy Spirit spoke to me. God used all of you involved to show me, and many others, how truly great HE is, and how great a love HE has for us, HIS children. May we take these experiences of worship, and together continue to glorify HIM, and make HIM known to a lost and dying world. I LOVE YOU!! HE IS RISEN INDEED! Ray PAR 3 SHOOTOUT FOR YOUTH MINISTRY Once again it is time for our annual Par 3 Shootout for Youth Summer Ministry Activities. This will take place at the Blue Ridge Golf Center on Highway 28 on Saturday, April 18, at 10:00 AM. Once again it will be a two-person Captain s Choice tournament, with trophies and many door prizes given, and a great lunch will be provided. Our Youth and others will be getting hole sponsors for the tournament: Gold ($100), Silver ($50), and Bronze ($25). Please support them and this ministry fundraiser so that these kids can participate in summer camps and activities that will help them grow in God s Will for their lives, and even bring some to Salvation in Jesus Christ! And we also NEED GOLFERS. Our goal is to have 30 golfers! Please sign up on the bulletin board in the choir room. We had a total of 28 volunteers from three local churches, College Street, Mountain View and a local Presbyterian group, cooperating together to reach children for Jesus Christ. We had 110 enrolled with an average attendance of 72 and 21 professions of faith! To God be the glory!! Let me also thank Shannon Lusk, the principal, as well as her staff (which included Missy Gibson and Nickie King) for all their cooperation throughout the year. Don Bickers, Coordinator GOLDEN FELLOWSHIP CLUB MEETING Golden Fellowship Club meeting will be held on Thursday, April 2 nd at 6:00 p.m. in the CSBC Dining Room. The program will be The Work of The Gideon. Chicken will be provided for our meal. We ask that you bring a covered dish to go with the chicken or your favorite dessert. 6 From Ken Ken s Korner - Ken Reid, Pastor The Golden Fellowship is planning a number of trips and activities throughout the year. You are welcome at any time to join the fun and activities and to bring a friend along. We have lots of fun on the bus! April 30 Strawberry Hill for Strawberries and lunch at the Junction Bus leaves at 10:00 am May 21 Shoney s for breakfast rescheduled. Bus leaves at 8:30 a.m. June 18 Strawberry Hill for peaches and lunch at Stax Omega Bus leaves at 10:00 am These are just a few of the wonderful times we have. Join us also for our monthly meetings in the dining room. Every first Thursday at 6:00 pm. *************** Would you be interested in going on a Cruise out of Charleston, September 26 through October 1, 2015 as a church and friends? I d like to hear from you as soon as possible in order to book our rooms. Total cost per person for a 5 night cruise with our group is $ (room, port fees, taxes) for an inside cabin and $ per person for an ocean view cabin. Insurance would be $39 per person if you wanted it (not mandatory). Suggested gratuity for the week is $60 per person. If we book 5 cabins or more we each get a $50 onboard per person credit that can be used for the gratuity or anyway you wish. We would determine a fee for fuel on the bus once we have our group (probably $25 per person).

Our VBS kids will travel to uncharted territory where they will begin to understand that obedience to God can lead them beyond the expected! This is our only planned meeting with everyone until our set-up day on Saturday, June 6. We plan to cover all the agenda in less than 45 minutes!
