God was in the camp. This was almost the same number that came out of Egypt. Numbers 1:47 But the Levites after the tribe of their fathers were not numbered among them. Numbers 1:48 For the LORD had spoken unto Moses, saying, 49 Only thou shalt not number the tribe of Levi, neither take the sum of them among the children of Israel: 50 But thou shalt appoint the Levites over the tabernacle of testimony, Numbers 1:53 But the Levites shall pitch round about the tabernacle of testimony, that there be no wrath upon the congregation of the children of Israel: and the Levites shall keep the charge of the tabernacle of testimony. The Levites were to protect the sanctuary and if anyone encroached, they were armed in order to protect, Just as the angels who guarded the way to the Tree of Life. John 10:1 Verily, verily, I say unto you, He that entereth not by the door into the sheepfold, but climbeth up some other way, the same is a thief and a robber. There are no short cuts to the sanctuary of God. The levites were to protect it. 3

4 Please return promptly from the break at the sound of the Shofar and quietly to observe the sanctity of the sanctuary and so we might start the 2 nd half of service on time. Thank you & Shalom! 1 Corinthians 12:18 But now hath God set the members every one of them in the body, as it hath pleased Him. There were 3 camps: 1. God's Camp (Mishkan)-at the center 2. The Levites-around the Tent of God 3. The Camp of Israel-the tribes The arrangement was a series of buffers-so those on the outside would not be destroyed Numbers 2:17 "And the tabernacle of meeting shall move out with the camp of the Levites in the middle of the camps; as they camp, so they shall move out, everyone in his place, by their standards. In the placement of the tribes outside the Tabernacle, Judah had a most prominent spot-by the priests at the east gate-a Messianic significance. Moses divided the priests into 8 groups called mishmaros. Each mishmaros performed the services of the tabernacle for a week. Numbers 3:7 And they shall keep his charge, and the charge of the whole congregation ( edah) before the tabernacle of the congregation (mo ed), to do the service of the tabernacle. keep his charge: shamar mismereth: keep guard do the service: abad bodah: ministering of the heavy work Numbers 4:2 Take the sum of the sons of Kohath from among the sons of Levi, after their families (mishpachah), by the house of their fathers Numbers 4:3 From thirty years old and upward even until fifty years old, all that enter into the host, to do the work in the tabernacle of the congregation (mo ed). Numbers 4:5 And when the camp setteth forward, Aaron shall come, and his sons, and they shall take down the covering vail, and cover the ark of testimony with it: 4:6 And shall put thereon the covering of badgers' skins, and shall spread over it a cloth wholly of blue, and shall put in the staves thereof Numbers 4:15 And when Aaron and his sons have made an end of covering the sanctuary, and all the vessels of the sanctuary, as the camp is to set forward; after that, the sons of Kohath shall come to bear it: but they shall not touch any holy thing, lest they die. These things are the burden of the sons of Kohath in the tabernacle of the congregation. 5

Varieties: diairesiv diairesis; dividing as into parts Gifts: charisma: gifts of God s favor, endowment of grace Service: diakonia- serviceable labor that benefits others Working: energema-the activated power and the effect produced by it 1 Corinthians 12:11 But all these worketh (energeo) that one and the selfsame Spirit, dividing to every man severally as he will. 12 For as the body is one, and hath many members, and all the members of that one body, being many, are one body: so also is Christ. 6

Colossians 2:19 And not holding the Head, from which all the body by joints and bands having nourishment ministered, and knit together, increaseth with the increase of God. 7

At the close of the service please take your items, i.e. notes etc. to respect the cleanliness of the Sanctuary. Please dress modestly so as to not be a distraction to others, and dress your best to honor God, and in respect of the Sabbath. We believe God s Presence is with us. Please observe quietness in conversation in the Sanctuary especially during our Worship times in respect to others. ONEG (Potluck Lunch) It has been a long standing tradition at El Shaddai Ministries to fellowship together after the service and share a meal together. We hold ONEG every 2 nd and 4 th Saturday. People are blessed to be able to eat together and share the Word and meet new people. If you are blessed to be able to bring a dish, please observe Biblically clean foods, i.e. avoid pork dishes, shellfish, or gelatin products. Please bring fresh cooked dishes and not leftovers if possible. Also after ONEG make sure to bring your dishes and utensils home. If there is any question as to these standards please discuss with the Pastors or Zaken in the Guest Pavilion after the service. Also PLEASE be courteous in the ONEG line and be observant of those around you, so others may get a generous helping of food as well. THANK YOU AND ENJOY THE FELLOWSHIP!!
