Torah is the Constitution of the Jewish Nation, the fire of its soul. To keep our Nation alive, Torah must be kept alive. We keep it alive with the help of its devoted and expert practitioners - teachers who not only teach Torah but also live their lives according to its eternal standards. Judaism is not just a religion; it is also a way of life. Torah is not just theological literature; it is also the working constitution of our unique nation. Keeping this Nation and its Constitution intact is our divine task. With our lives, we link our ancient past to our limitless future. The Institute for Advanced Judaic Studies is renowned in the Jewish world as the Kollel with the highest academic standards. It teaches in a personal way, using an interactive-intensive approach to education which creates highly learned and motivated individuals. The Kollel is an open Bais Hamedrash. Though not everyone may qualify as a full-day Kollel Fellow, anyone in the community at any stage of learning is welcome to come and learn at any time and as long as they wish. A teacher or a chavrusa is readily provided. With a full schedule of in-house and community classes, the Kollel keeps Torah study alive for all people of all ages and all stages of learning. 12 Halachic Services Kollel Toronto KollelToronto (Institute for Advanced Judaic Studies) offers halachic services for Toronto, Canada, North America and beyond, under the direction of its esteemed Deans (Roshei Hakollel), Rabbi Shlomo Miller, and Rabbi Yaakov Hirschmann. 1.
