Friday Sermon 26 th June 2015 Hujjatul Islam Ustad Syed Jawad Naqvi (Principal Jamia Orwatul Wuthqa Lahore, Jamia Jafaria Gujranwala) Delivered at: Jamia Masjid Allama Mufti Jafar Gujranwala Pakistan Translated By: Syed Arif Rizvi

In the name of Allah (s.w.t) I inherit myself and all you the servants of Allah towards divine Taqwa. Allah has made the system of guidance conditional to Taqwa. Taqwa is the name of divine life of man. The ancestral way of living is culture whereas divine way of living is Taqwa. Allah for man to reach his purpose of creation has made the Prophet, Imams, Divine books and specifically worship as means to reach the level of Taqwa. In worship Salaat is the pillar of religion and specifically Friday prayers has been emphasized for preaching Taqwa. The obligation of the Imam of the Friday prayer is to establish a system of Taqwa, an Ummah of Taqwa and create an environment of Taqwa. The way others that is the capitalists have made the world in accordance with their culture and also have submerged us into their way of living. They have made such an attractive world that even religious people even without any desires get acquainted with their life style. It is the responsibility of Prophets, Imams, Saints of Allah and all those who have been given this responsibility to invite people towards the divine system of Taqwa. At the same time Allah with his grace and nobility has granted man with various opportunities and greatest bounty amongst this is the existing month of Holy Ramadhan. This month is the month of Taqwa and all arrangements made in this month are to help man to achieve that degree of Taqwa. It is the month of Quran and the month of fasting. Quran is the manifesto of the system of Taqwa and fasting helps man to possess Taqwa. It won t be an exaggeration to say that fasting is the best worship to acquire Taqwa and it plays the most effective way of acquiring Taqwa. Fasting means refrainment from routine things in a specific period; those things which he could not leave aside during normal days. This refrainment from permissible things and routine life style is on the basis of Taqwa and it strengthens Taqwa. Amongst the routine life also the most important one are the habits which man leaves due to fasting. If we want to interpret the significance of Ramadhan with a common example then we know that every nation has an army for defense and protection of people and country. Army and defense system is an important segment of every nation. This force is prepared by training; youths are selected from homes and then passed through a long training program. After their training they are posted on various posts and fronts to carry out duties. Then in order to maintain their preparedness and physical fitness they are made to do military exercises at least once in a year. In these exercises they are made to do tough things; they are taken out from barracks, away from their canteens and taken into desserts, hot places and are kept busy day and night. They are made to do military parades and exercises so as to keep their preparedness, fitness and they remain prepared for the full year to protect the nation. Allah has also made a similar system for man and this is the month of Ramadhan and within Ramadhan is fasting. Fasting is similarly to these military exercises. This is an exercise of faith which a believer does and if he does not carry out this exercise once in a year then he will not remain prepared throughout the year. He will become victims of calamities, will get dominated by desires, internal and external enemies will subjugate him. In military exercises there are lazy men similarly there are lazy people who do not avail this divine opportunity of Ramadhan and they try not to participate in these exercises. A person who has recognition of his responsibilities puts all efforts to participate in this 1

exercise. One more part of these military exercises is that one who performs well in this exercise he gets promotion and his rank changes. Those who eat more in army mess, sleeps more, talks more are not given high ranks. They are made to do military exercises, then assessment is done and those who perform well their ranks are changed. Similarly Allah has made this month of Ramadhan to elevate the ranks of those believers who demonstrate good performance and after acquiring this rank at the end of month the believer celebrates and this celebration is known as Eid. When a soldier gets promotion he becomes happy but a lazy person becomes happy when the exercise has ended and I am back to canteen, food and normal life. But one who is an expert in exercise feels happy that my grade has been elevated. For Allah the criteria of elevation of rank is Taqwa. If you make your own criteria of life it does not makes difference to you. If the children make an army inside home no one cares about it. When man makes self-carved criteria s then this is a calamity. At times they follow ancestral criteria s, at times they follow devilish criteria at times they make their own criteria. There is a verse in Quran which says و ل ی س ال ب ر ب ا ن ت ا ت وا ال ب ی وت م ن ظ ھ ور ھ ا و ل ك ن ال ب ر م ن ات ق ى Birr which means vastness of good act is not this that you enter your homes from back or through windows. During the time of ignorance some people would enter their homes through the door. This is because they had pledged that unless such and such thing is not done I will not enter inside my home through the door. Even today there are people who say that I will not trim my moustache unless a particular desire of mine is not fulfilled. Quran says that this is not Birr, this is not the path of salvation that you make a criteria yourself. Birr is Taqwa which is the divine criteria. As the Quran says that; the best, noble and dignified amongst you is the one who possesses Taqwa Even if someone says I am rich, from big family then these are not divine criteria s. If you go to Allah with these criteria s of your superiority there is no importance in front of Allah. But even if a poor person with Taqwa goes to Allah then he has a lot of importance. For Allah only Taqwa is criteria rest all are self-carved criteria s which are useless. Thus if Taqwa is such an important thing then even if man spends his entire life to acquire Taqwa then also he has not wasted his life. Allah has mentioned methods of acquiring Taqwa and amongst these methods the most effective method is Fasting. Fasting as compared to other methods very quickly grants Taqwa to man. This is because man leaves many habits and routine things in fasting. And in order to leave these things strength is required. At times you need strength to do things like you have to lift a stone but at times in order to leave things you need strength; like there is a hungry person and tasty food is in front of him and he has to leave it and not eat. If you are thirsty and there are cold drinks and water available then you need this strength inside you to not drink. Now we can see this strength and power has developed inside us from children to elders. You offer to a child who is fasting to eat or drink something they will not eat. At times children fast and mother does not wants him to fast. She offers the child to eat and the child also eats. A mother possessing Taqwa will not do this; she prepares Suhoor for the child and ensures that the child fasts so that this power is developed inside the child and later whenever the child needs protection then with this power he remains protected. Man needs a lot of power to close the eyes. If there is a young person and a Na Mahram woman comes in front of him; he needs a lot of strength to not look at her. Prophet Yusuf had this power granted by Allah. In that environment when that woman invited Yusuf towards sin in a closed room where no one was looking. Prophet Yusuf took refuge from Allah and ran from that environment. This was the power by which man dominates over his self and this power required is more than power to dominate others. One Urdu poet has expressed mentioned this power and Taqwa very beautifully 2

Nahango Ajda o Sher e Nar maara to kya maara Bade Moozi ko maara gar nafse Ammara ko maara If you have killed a crocodile, lion, serpent then what have you killed But you have killed a big demon if you have killed your carnal desires If you kill a lion, crocodile or a serpent you are courageous but if you can kill your carnal desires (Nafse Ammara) then you have killed a big demon. This power develops during fasting because this fasting is a parade and exercise. It is mandatory on every matured person to do this exercise. If someone leaves fasting for valid reasons like travelling for man or some days for women then you have to do its Qadha after Ramadhan and if someone leaves it intentionally then you have pay the penalty. If you remain absent for one day during this exercise you have to do the exercise for sixty days as compensation for one day. One day of fasting in the month of Ramadhan is equivalent to sixty days of fasting during other period and still it does not gets compensated. Even if you fast continuously for sixty days then also you do not develop the same ability and strength which you develop during one day of fasting in the month of Ramadhan. Fasting weakens us physically, makes us lazy and since food is not there it effects the body but man does not becomes weak if the body is weak because his determination is increasing and Taqwa is increasing. His soul is becoming powerful and in order to live you don t need a strong body instead you need a strong will power. Those who possess strong will power they are successful. Thus this is a month of Taqwa O you who believe! fasting is prescribed for you, as it was prescribed for those before you, so that you may become Muttaqee. We are indulged into customary fasting till now because we are not familiar with the reality of fasting and this is also because we were not told; it is not that we were told and we did not listen. Whatever was told about fasting we listened to it and what was not told we are unaware about it. If we look at the traditions of Infallibles about fasting then what we are doing is far from reality; only customary fasting we are doing. Customary acts means those acts done without any esteemed purpose which man does only for self-satisfaction. If instead of fasting there is only starvation which means he is not eating drinking but doing backbiting, lies, slandering are all going on than this is just a custom of fasting. If fasting is not of eyes or ears then the soul of fasting is not present and this is just a customary fasting. Man should try to acquire the soul of fasting which is servitude (Bandagi) of Allah. The philosophy of fasting is very fine that fasting is of entire existence of man. Fasting (Saum) is from Samt which means silence; a type of silence in which tongue is quiet but heart is prepared. Heart and tongue have a principal that they both do not work at the same time. When tongue is at work heart and intelligence is not working. It is said in certain worships that silence (Samt) is the best worship. Samt does not mean to not speak, not listen and become aloof of everything. Samt as it is mentioned in traditions; when Allah gives perfection to someone s mind then his lips become quiet. The sign of perfection of intelligence is less movement of tongue. If someone s tongue keeps on moving continuously then it does not gives time to mind (Aql) to think. For mind (Aql) in order to think, ponder and contemplate needs some time and this time can only come by keeping the tongue silent for some time so that Aql gets some time to think. 3

Saum (Fasting) awakens the internal senses of man. Saum means refrainment from routine acts so that those segments which were shut since birth should be awakened and they also get life and they should also start to function. From the time we were born we are chewing and eating; we are told to keep this quiet during fasting because till the time this keeps on functioning your inner segments will remain quiet and will not be awakened. For their awakening give them some time and given a break to your tongue. The abilities which awaken due to fasting all come under Taqwa. We need to give a break to our routine life during fasting and the opposite should not happen that a person due to fasting becomes ill mannered, loses his temper, becomes restless and does not do anything. During the stage of fasting the prohibited routine things should be left but you have to arouse spirituality more during fasting. The outward segment is asked to be shut down so that the inner side, the soul should get the time to awaken and function. Hence this is the best opportunity in the month of Ramadhan and within this Fasting which has certain merits also as mentioned before. Breathing during fasting is worship, sleeping during fasting is worship, your looks are worship and the normal acts of ordinary days are counted as obedience during fasting. This is because the soul which is performing these acts is in complete obedience to Allah during fasting. Allah has made all the degrees and ranks for Muttaqeen. As said that Fasting is like a military exercise where you exercise for one month so that you can be prepared to act for the entire year because everything is acquired through Taqwa. In Surah Maida. Verse 46, Allah says that those who do not possess Taqwa are deprived of many things. These are only meant for Muttaqeen like it is mentioned about Holy Quran that it is no doubt a book of guidance but for Muttaqeen. Those who are not Muttaqeen cannot take guidance from Quran. In Surah Maida, verse And We sent after them in their footsteps Isa, son of Marium, verifying what was before him of the Taurat and We gave him the Injeel in which was guidance and light, and verifying what was before it of Taurat and a guidance and an admonition for those who guard (against evil). The way the Quran is an admonition for Muttaqeen same way Allah says we have continuously sent Prophets and after them we aroused Isa ibn Maryam. When Isa (a.s) came in his nation as a Prophet, before that we have descended the Holy Book; Taurat and Isa came with Injeel which testified whatever was present in Taurat as truth and Injeel is also a heavenly book from Allah. This is an important point that Taurat is also a divine book, Injeel and Quran are also divine books. But the followers of Torah; the Jews did not accept Injeel and also later did not accept Quran. They did not accept Christianity and neither invitation of Islam. These Jews were settled around Palestine and in their book there was a clear mention of the arriving of the last Prophet (s.a.w.s). They were also told in their book when this last Prophet (s.a.w.s) would be aroused amongst his people he would migrate to a land whose certain signs were mentioned. These Jews started to migrate from Palestine in search of this land and since they were experts and scholars; by their research came to the land of Yathrib (Medina). They settled in and around Medina. You have heard that when Prophet (s.a.w.s) came to Medina along with the two tribes of Aus and Khazraj, there were certain Jewish tribes also 4

present here who had settled there for welcoming the last Prophet. They wanted to be present before the last Prophet in the land where he will come so that they would be the first one to accept him. For this they left their places and got settled in Medina since few centuries. Allah s promise came true and the Holy Prophet (s.a.w.s) after being aroused in Mecca migrated to Medina. He (s.a.w.s) gave invitation to these Jews because Aus and Khazraj were idol worshippers whereas the Jews believed in Allah. The Messenger of Allah invited the polytheists as well as these religious people (Jews) towards Islam; the Polytheists (Aus and Khazraj) accepted and brought faith but the religious people denied it. The believers of Taurat did not bring faith and this was because they have made self-carved criteria s for the last prophet. That he will come such specialties, he will be from the Jews. When the Prophet came, they said you are a Prophet as we can see the signs of Prophet in you but we will not accept you because you are not from the Jewish tribes. Why did this happen whereby a religious group believing in divine book; a group believe in Prophets did not accept the words of Isa and neither the Holy Prophet (s.a.w.s). This is because Allah s religion is accepted by Muttaqeen and not by those who do not possess Taqwa. If a person becomes religious and has Taurat with him, but if Taqwa is not present he will not accept the Prophet. Hence in this verse Allah says that we have aroused Isa with Injeel after Taurat. They neither accepted Isa nor did they accept Injeel. This is because the verse says that Taurat and Injeel are both admonition and guidance for Muttaqeen. They lacked Taqwa hence they carved their own religion and did not accept the words of Prophets. This incident is mentioned in the Quran for the followers of Quran. If the followers of Taurat were Muttaqee then they would have accepted guidance and admonition from Injeel. If the followers of Injeel are Muttaqee then they will accept guidance and admonition from Quran. Similarly if the followers of Quran are Muttaqee then Quran will be admonition and guidance for them. In another verse, Surah Araaf verse 128, there is a mention of Prophet Moosa (a.s). In this month of Ramadhan we have a series of lectures going on in Jamea Orwatul Wuthqa on the topic of Sunan-e- Ilahi which means the principles established by Allah for the existence and guidance of human beings. There are two types of principles; one are those by following of it gives salvation to man and then there are those principles which leads to destructions. These principles were expressed by the Prophets and for all communities these are the same paths. It is not that for Jews there were different laws, for Christians different and for Muslims it is different. The principles and laws from Allah are same for everyone. Musa said to his people: Ask help from Allah and be patient; surely the land is Allah's; He causes such of His servants to inherit it as He pleases, and the end is for those who guard (against evil). Prophet Moosa asked his community to seek help from Allah and demonstrate patience. Patience means to be determined and remain firm on our path. In our culture patience means set back and don t do anything, which is cowardliness. Why Moosa asked his people to remain firm, determined and have patience on this path? This is because it is Allah s promise that Allah will make his servants the inheritors on earth. And the end (Aaqebat) is for the Muttaqeen. Aaqebat means the back side, that which follows and comes later. Aaqebat is the final end of man and who will be successful in end, who will get help, who will get salvation? Quran says it is for Muttaqeen. Like if you take an example of wrestling. In the beginning of a competition one wrestler is very active but people wait and see who will be winner at the end. The end result is with one who protects his 5

abilities properly. We can see in this world there are various types of people but Aaqebat (end) is for Muttaqeen. It is not being said that Muttaqeen will go to Paradise that is already decided that paradise و ال ع اق ب ة is for Muttaqeen but who will have a good end in the word that is for Muttaqeen ل ل م ت ق ی ن It is there in supplications as well that O Allah grant us a good end. Many a time man starts good but the end is not good. Passionate people take good steps in the beginning but then slow down and fail in end. In academic world this happens that many students are very aggressive in the beginning and at the end near the examination they lose out and fail. You might see many activities from people. The Aaqebat is not for the Taghoot, it is the promise from Allah that end (good) for the Muttaqeen which Moosa is informing his people. و ال ع اق ب ة Our speakers always recite this segment of the verse in the header of the speeches but practically they don t have faith in this statement. If they would have faith that the ل ل م ت ق ین end is of Muttaqeen then they would all become Muttaqee. I should be certain that end is for Muttaqeen then I should immediately strive to become Muttaqee so that end should be in my favor. Good end does not mean that I will get food in the end, it means that the result of this encounter will come in my favor. In the world it is possible that you are in difficulties, you are weak but continue because this is Allah s promise that the end will be in your favor and it is conditional; that you should seek help from Allah and adopt Taqwa. We should bring faith on this that if a small minority of believers become Muttaqee then in this world the results will be in the favor of believers. This has happened in history and this can happen now also. SECOND SERMON This is the month of Taqwa and it is the best opportunity to acquire Taqwa. We should deliver the obligations and worships in this month with its soul so that Allah (s.w.t.) should make us reach the status of Taqwa and may Allah accept all the righteous acts of believers in this month. May Allah grant sincerity in our acts in this month. The most grievous incident which has happened in this month is due to severe heat around thousand people have lost their lives in Karachi. This is a grievous incident from several dimensions and one of the dimensions is that more than thousand people have passed away in last four days. These people were mostly very poor people who became a victim of this heat and many families are in grief. Apart from this more grievous dimension is that though it is summer everywhere in the northern hemisphere of the world but due to a crisis in the country and no systems and arrangements done by the state the damage was much more. Now the monsoons are about to come and due to floods damages happen; many families suffer for years due to these natural calamities and state does not do anything rather than just give a cheque which also does not gets cashed. We are in the region where weather severity is there and the same state is in many other countries but in other nations the government makes arrangement to take care of such situations. Here budget is announced but nothing is done practically. In this same city of Karachi the Rangers did a raid and found out the situation of corruption. They caught a person who is related to the construction of apartments and he said that what can we do, we have to deposit an amount of 100,000 USD daily in the account of one personality. This is how the public treasure is looted and goes into the pockets of these looters and the poor people become victim of these calamities. If the poor survive from terrorism, bombs then 6

they become victim of heat and flood. The more tragic part of this incident is that these 1200 people who passed away, may Allah forgive them in this month and bless them; but we should pay attention that there were many from amongst these 1200 who casted vote and these corrupt leaders came into power from their votes only. These people are aware that they will come in power through our votes and then later snatch our bread and put in their stomach. In this heat at least if a fan would have been working in homes at least half of them would have survived. There is no electricity for twenty hours, there is no water and then there is severity of heat. You believers who are associated with this segment of power and electricity are well aware about the facts. Recently we were passing through an area and an engineer was with us and he pointed towards a power plant and said this plant produces this much electricity but this is its last month and it will be shut down. The reason for shutting down of this plant is that this plant has been producing electricity but from the time it was made no money was paid to this plant by the state. This plant has gone bankrupt and it is about to be closed. Electricity can be generated through water in Pakistan; coal is in abundance in Pakistan to produce electricity; private rental power plants are present in the country to provide electricity but still electricity is not there and easily lives are lost. Government issued the statement that the state is not responsible for the loss of these lives. So who is responsible? Israel? What are governments meant for? The tragedy is that these governments are formed by the votes of the same people and these people are then deceived by these governments. We do not realize where our worldly privilege does and honor lies in? Religion is not meant for grave and hereafter; religion is for this world. What goes in grave is the result of religion in this world. The moment man dies the book of religion closes and now there is no Salaat, fasting, Hajj obligatory on man. Now you don t get a chance to perform any obligation. Religion has come for prosperity in the world and for the prosperity in this world the most fundamental segment is government. If governments are good and righteous then the world of people is paradise and if not then the world becomes hell for people. Governments makes the life of people paradise or hell whereas we think we can live our lives whichever way and everything will be in hereafter only. Religion considers this world as a farm for cultivation and establishes responsibilities in this world. The root of all these problems and difficulties concentrates on one point which is the sense (Sha oor) of people. If people possess sense that what kind of people we should elect and what kind of system we should have so that we do not become victim of human terrorists as well as natural calamities. As it is said in narrations that human acts becomes the basis of calamities; but I am not saying that due to sins of people this is happening. This is because if you see who has committed sins, who drank alcohol and who has lost lives? Those who died did not have this much money to buy water to drink so how can they commit sins of luxury. There would be hardly a case where someone passed away in some Porsche area of Karachi, or some officer or feudal lord died. Who became victim of this heat? Those who had no homes or had home but no electricity, some were living on footpath. It is not that they were sinful and hence they died. This is an established fact that all calamities are an outcome of human acts. The worst act which people do is to establish a tyrannical government; they elect them, they bring them and support them. When Allah establishes merciless rulers then they do not have mercy and they snatch away the lives of people. It is a shameful thing for an atomic country who has atomic power, there is water, there is coal and rental power plants are working and in this century there is no electricity in homes of people. The elite class has their own private jets, they have means of entertainment but ordinary people do not even have the basic necessities of life. One illogical thinking which media talks and since this media is also a part of this corrupt system which conceals the sins of the rulers. Everyday columnists write columns and give suggestions such and such things should be done. People should note that nothing will happen. The salvation of people lies only 7

in one point that the masses should develop sense (Sha oor). When sense gets awakened in people then this will solve your worldly problem and also hereafter. As said in the verse recited before that the result and end (Aaqebat) is for Muttaqeen. Taqwa does not mean that we should become heedless about the world. Senselessness is the biggest obstacle in Taqwa and steps of senselessness damages Taqwa. Senseless people cannot be Muttaqee because they become a part of every crime. We need to awaken the people so that we can come out of this deception. We have convinced ourselves that corrupt systems are part of our destiny and this is a wrong vision. Such destinies are not made by Allah instead people have made it for themselves. You need to change your destiny and night of Laylatul Qadr is the night to change your destiny. If you look at the character of Holy Prophet (s.a.w.s) then majority of the achievement which He got was in the month of Ramadhan. It is the month of Ramadhan in which the destiny of Muslims nation has changed and hence this month has high significance. There is a need to be attentive and awareness, awakening is like light. When there is night and no sun is there and people are sitting crying about darkness then one person gets up and lights a candle, then another candle is lighted on and like this the entire city gets lightened. Awakening is like this light and it will spread by spreading and will not spread on its own whereas darkness encompasses everything. In Baltistan where recently elections took place; government was formed and I asked them now tell me what is going to happen. They said now we are waiting for roads to be constructed, hospitals and universities to be built and Baltistan is waiting to become a beautiful region of the world. Karachi was the city of lights which they turned it into a city of death so what do they expect to happen in Baltistan which is already a lowly region. It is a provincial government and there are NGO s present who are making records of people to help people. Can this not have happened in Karachi where one day something happened then at least next day they would have arranged for water tankers across the city. These accursed Arab nations who have been supplying Kalashnikov to Pakistan can they not arrange water tankers in the city at this critical stage and this incident would not have happened. They will not do and we should not expect them to do also and eventually our expectations would lead everyone to such incidents. You should pay attention which Allah has mentioned which lies in Divine system. The solution is only when you are under the divine system. You should pay attention to the situation in Karachi and the government of Ali (a.s). If the governance of Wilayat would have been present, a government of Ali (a.s) would have been present then what would have happened and what these governments are doing. Imam Ali (a.s) was in Kufa which was the capital and today twenty six nations which are present today was the government of Ali (a.s). Taxes were coming from all over the places and public treasure was full and its key was with Ali (a.s) and if you visit Ali (a.s) dining mat and in the month of Ramadhan on Iftar, he is having his Iftar with dried barley bread. One day when the daughter of Ali (a.s) invites him for Iftar and he visits there; she serves milk and salt. Ali (a.s) said when you have seen your father having two courses of meal. He considered salt as one course of meal. The daughter picked up salt so Ali (a.s) said keep the salt and take the milk way. Ali (a.s) could also have eaten fatty bread and good food. People asked why you put yourself into such hardship. Ali (a.s) replied that I am the ruler and in my governance it is possible that someone in Yemen might be hungry so how it is possible that someone sleeps with empty stomach in Yemen and Ali is having a full meal in Kufa. This gift of governance, this vision, this model and Wilayat of Ali (a.s) is with you. This Wilayat of Ali is not for fighting and sectarianism. The Wilayat of Ali is for the salvation of humanity and we should present this model to the world and teach the world how governments are run. 8

You believers who are afraid of saying Aliyun Waliyullah today; you are reluctant to recite this in Azaan but you should not be afraid. Make the people listen to this and publicly announce this that we are followers of Ali (a.s) but not with prejudice and intention of sectarianism. We should present ourselves as followers of Ali (a.s) but not Ali (a.s) as a personality whom we are following instead Ali is the representative of the divine system of Allah. This system is a trust (Amaanat) with us and we (Shias) will tell you how to run the government system so that no one dies with heat or flood. Ameerul Momineen (a.s) saw a lady filling water from the well and carrying herself. He asked who is this lady and found that she was a widow whose husband got martyred in a battle. Ali (a.s) went and took away the water skin from her and said that your husband has passed away in the way of Allah so how can Ali see you in such a state of hardship. Allah has made you my Wali so that you do not suffer hardship. Ali lifted the water to her home; then went to market to get some food; returned back and told her you take care of children and I will cook food for you. The leader of the state is telling this; who has this model of governance in the world. This is with Shiite. We despite of being an inheritor of the purest system of governance that is Wilayat are trying to enter this corrupt system of governance which is not permissible for us. This is a message from these deaths to us. These corpses which fall due to terrorism, heat or flood are all giving this message to us Shias that you Shias have a trust (Amaanat) from Allah which if you do not tell the world due to which we have become captives of these merciless rulers then you will see the same scene every day. In global affairs the complexity is still prevailing with the devilish powers of Arabs, Jews and West who have done all this conspiracy by making terrorist groups, attacking poor nations are all part of the same conspiracy. In order to deceive the world they raise anti-terrorism slogans as well but in reality they are giving protection to terrorism. In the past week what has come in front in global situations ISIS has again started to occupy the same cities from where they were defeated. In Iraq they have once again started to occupy the same cities where they were defeated before. It is not that they have developed some new power inside them but it is due to the global support which they are getting in order to keep them alive. They don t want ISIS to be eradicated because they have made them first to create discord amongst the Muslim Ummah and then specifically destroy the Shias. They started as per this planning to finish off the Shias in Karbala, Najaf within weeks. They came with new map of Iraq in which Karbala and Najaf was not present. They had the hope that at our back we have such big Western and Arab powers hence we would achieve goals very quickly. This was their satanic stratagem but Allah also has his own stratagem and Allah s planning dominates all the plans of Satan. If the army of Shaitan has come out then the army of Allah is also present. It is not that the land is empty from the army of Allah. The Iraqi believers made a militia which got them out from the cities. But again they have armed ISIS, given them weapons, intelligence information and consultancy to make them again occupy these cities. This is because they are thinking that if Takfirist become weak then Iran will dominate. Iran s governance will come in Iraq, Yemen, Syria, and Lebanon and in order to keep Iran away they are strengthening ISIS. As regards to Yemen all international organizations have accepted this, and yesterday the Italian parliament has condemned the Italian prime minister as to why Italian Prime Minister not yet condemned Saudi Arabia for their open brutal attack on Yemen. There is a voice raised at global level and Saudi have been defeated in all their goals and objectives. Now Yemenis have changed their strategy from defensive to offensive. They have started to move towards Saudi borders and many Saudi cantonments are captured by Yemenis and Saudis have ran away from there. Now Saudi s have again appealed to Pakistan that we cannot win this battle without the support of Pakistan. The President of Pakistan has gone to Saudi and pledged in Kaaba that we will support you in all possible 9

ways. They are already supporting which is a grievous dimension that they have sent many civilians to Saudi and Qatar. This is a shameful thing that Pakistan should participate in this tyranny. In other global affairs one other important headline is about the agreement between America and Iran. There are severe sanctions on Iran and in order to end the sanctions there is an agreement negotiation going on. In order to close this agreement 30 th June has been given as the last day. At this time both parties are busy to remain firm on their stances. The fact is that the Iranian diplomats had accepted certain things which America proposed for which they did not had permission from the leader. The Supreme leader in his address few days back very clearly said that these are our red lines and we will not accept this at any cost. He condemned the government, negotiators and also drew the attention of the enemies that these demands will not get accepted but this pressure is ongoing. In Iran there is a group who in the greed of power is cooperating with these foreign powers. They are sending signals from inside that you should impose more sanctions due to which pressure will increase on people and people will then force the government to accept all conditions. This is a fifth column present in Iran which is sending these signals to the enemies. But the way Allah has always got Iran out victorious and has supported the Leader in a divine way we have hope here also that Allah will give dignity and success. The month of Ramadhan as such is sensitive and due to some steps taken in the country there is a break but believers should not be deceived that terrorism has ended and be alert. The days of mourning are specifically are very important and believers should remain alert. In certain areas already signs are seen and threats are there about which we should remain cautious. You should make arrangements for security and may Allah protect believers and all Muslims from all dangers. 10
