Navratri Puja Vidhi - Durga Puja Vidhi (Exclusively for Navratri Puja) Bhu Shuddhi Utthishtanthu bhoota pisacha yethe bhumi bharaka Yethesha mavirodhena brahma karma samarabhe Take some water and akshatas and sprinkle at puja place. After that, take few Akshatas, smell them and throw those akshatas behind you. Marjana, Atma Shuddhi Apavitra pavitrova ya davasthanga thopiva Ya smareth pundarikaksham sabahyabyanthara shuchi Chant the name of Pundarikaksha for three times. Then sprinkle water with right hand on your head. Then do deeparadhana with ghee by chanting Keshava Namas. Do achamanam.. Om Keshavaya Swaha Om Narayanaya Swaha Om Madhavaya Swaha By chanting the above mantra, take few drops of water to your right palm and drink for three times. Sankalpam Om bhuh om bhuvah ogh suvah om mahah, om janah, om tapah, ogh satyam, om tatsavitur varenyam, bhargo devasya dheemahi, dhiyoyonah prachodayath. Now, leave the nose. (Keep your ring finger in water). Now perform Kalasha Puja. Pour the Kalasha with water till half, put one mango leaf in it and place coconut on it. Decorate it with blouse piece like a crown. Put gandha at three places to Kalasha. And chant the below mantras by holding a betel leaf on the Kalasha.
