CLS Preschool Hosting Culver s Night Join CLS Preschool faculty, staff, students, and families for dinner on Monday, September 24th, from 5-8pm at the Culver s on Stellhorn Rd! 10% of all profits made during that time in both the dining room and drive thru will go right back to the school s preschool program. Enjoy a great meal while supporting our littlest learners. LWML Fort Wayne East Zone Fall Rally The Fall Rally will be held at 9am on Saturday, October 6, at Ascension Lutheran Church, 8811 Saint Joe Road, Fort Wayne. Registration and breakfast at 8:30. The theme is Great Is Thy Faithfulness and Jim & Cheryl Brockmann will speak about 4KenyasKids. Ingathering items are Washcloths; Hotel size soap; Girls panties size 12, 14, 16; Women s panties size 5, 6, 7; 100% cotton material, dark prints (no animals) for sanitary napkins; 100% flannel material, dark prints (no animals) for sanitary napkins. Registration fee at the door $6. Please register with your society president by Sunday, September 30. Lutheran World Relief Project Promise We are currently collecting items for Personal Care Kits and School Kits and soon Baby Care Kits. See the lists on the bulletin board for items needed. There are collection boxes available for your donations.

You can listen live or at your convenience at and on the LPR mobile app. Regarding The Lord s Supper Communion is a time for penitent reflection and joy as we receive our Savior's Body & Blood. As we make our way to the Communion table, please use this time for personal reflection and prayer for this wonderful Holy Sacrament. Periodically it is wise to evaluate our worship practice. In the Divine Service, our Lord confronts our sin and comforts us with His forgiveness. Therefore, worship conveys holiness, blessing, relief and warmth. Any modification should be non-distracting and natural, moving us towards deeper reverence and careful practice. Our intent is not change for change sake, but fidelity to our Lord. To that end, a church elder will collect your individual communion cups before leaving the Lord s Table. Please make the back pews at church available to families with young children. This allows moms and dads to take babies and young children out of the sanctuary more quickly when the need arises. There are boxes of supplies available, located below the mailboxes, for the children to use with the Children s Bulletin Please return these boxes after each service. Thank You!
