3 ITEMS OF INTEREST FOLLOW THE STAR SET-UP: Sundays from 8:00 a.m. to noon, with a lunch provided. To help with setting up the scenes, go through the Gladstone Park lower parking lot entrance to one of the scenes where people are working. COMMUNITY CENTER NEEDS: Canned peaches, bottles of juice, kid s juice boxes, paper towels, Kleenex, dish soap, laundry detergent, shampoo, and toothpaste. OUTREACH SABBATH: - We are going to make a special point to reach out to our friends and family, and invite them to our church services on the first Sabbath of each month. We will no longer be calling the first Sabbath Personal Ministries Sabbath, or Casual Church, but instead Outreach Sabbath. Invite a friend! CHURCH APP: "There's an app for that." Remember that tagline? There is now an app you can use to give to your local church or to return your tithe! Look up Adventist Giving" on the App Store (Apple) or through Google Play. Sabbath, November 3 Pastor Nate and Emily have everything they need for the new baby boy to arrive November 25 or at his convenience. However, we would like to express our love for their family in a tangible way. A number of us have purchased a Packyard and Play, and it will be in the foyer on November 3, for you to add disposable diapers (size 2 or larger) or gift cards for surprise needs. Offerings for our Budget is the only source for paying the fixed expenses of our Church, and for many of our outreach activities. God is able to work in amazing ways through those who are committed to seeing the finishing of the gospel work. Are we willing to increase our gifts for Church budget, as a tangible sign of our commitment to Him? Jesus said, "For where your treasure is, there will your heart be also" (Matt. 6:21). So, it comes down to a matter of the heart! AN APPEAL FOR PRAYER AND COMMITMENT: Let's be praying for each other, and for our own choices, so that we will be open to God's leading, as to what our part should be, in meeting the funding requirements for our Church Budget.
