4 STUDY GROUPS Women s Bible Study Group Leaders: Anne Eicher & Bonny Engen Please join us for a 9 week study at Faith on Tuesday mornings or evenings beginning April 1. It will be an interactive study of God s word as well as video-centered group discussion. Our meeting times are at 9:30am or 6:30pm. Childcare is available in the morning. SMALL GATHERING OPPORTUNITIES Chore Corps Thursdays at 8am Help take care of projects/cleaning around the church then have fellowship & a devotion with the group. Contact: Roger Baldwin Missions Sewing 2nd Thursdays at 9am Sept - May Gather with other crafters to sew projects that are donated to missions. Contact: Barb Jestice Prayer Watch Tuesdays at 7am Everyone is welcome. We pray for our church, community and world. Contact: Sharon Auldrich Prime Time 2nd Thursdays at 11:30am Sept - May A time of fellowship for those 55 and better. Includes monthly speakers and good food RSVP required. Authentic Manhood Group Leaders: Joe Devine & Ben Stapp The Quest for Authentic Manhood focuses on primary issues that shape a man s life, explores in-depth the biblical concepts of manhood, and provides practical building blocks for any man who wants to construct a nobler, more satisfying manhood. We meet weekly on Thursdays from 5:30-7am at Faith. 1 Spiritual Disciplines Wednesdays at 6:30pm Join us to seek new depth in your walk with God. 6 weeks starting April 2. Facilitated by Al Edeker. Wait & Pray Fridays at 11:45am Everyone is welcome as we pray and listen for God s voice. Contact: John Foley Women s Walking Club Fridays at 9am, starting June 13 Join us for fellowship and exercise as we walk weekly in a local park or neighborhood. 5 ASSORTED GROUPS Winning the Battle Single s Bible Study Group Leader: Group Leader: Amy Olson Chuck Lucas This is a group of men struggling to live holy and meaningful lives in a fallen and corrupt world. We are currently studying What Jesus Demands of the World. We have great discussion, so attendance is encouraged every week. Meets Mondays 6:30-8:30pm at Faith. Hannah Circle Group Leader: Shirley Howard This group is for women who want to fellowship and study together. We currently are reading Billy Graham s book Nearing Home. This group meets at 1 pm on the 1st Thursday of the month at Faith. 9 This group is for singles of all ages to study a book of the Bible and fellowship together. The group meets twice a month on Sundays at 1pm. Our group also does service activities in the community - a great way to get to know each other and live out our faith. More than Just a Job Group Leader: Mike Lotzer This group is for both men and women, married and single, in any stage of life. We will consider how we are all called to connect our work with God s work through the book Every Good Endeavor by Tim Keller. We will meet for approximately twelve weeks on Tuesday mornings from 6:30-7:30am at Panera Bread at the Burnsville mall. 2
6 STUDY GROUPS Men s Christian Growth Group First Place 4 Health Dave Carlson Group Leader: Nancy Bischoff Group Leader: Join other men who want to mature in their Christian walk together. We ll be studying the Bible using a study guide we ll pick out together. We pray together, encourage each other and will possibly do a service project. We meet at Faith on Tuesday evenings - Option 1: at 5-6pm; Option 2: 7-8pm. Financial Peace University Faithful Purls DeeAnn LaLuzerne Ford & Kajsa Anderson Group Leaders: Brian & This group is for anyone who wants to learn biblical and practical steps of managing money through Dave Ramsey s 9 week course. You will learn how to get rid of debt and how to both spend and save your money wisely. Class will be from 6:30-8pm starting Wednesday, April 2 at Faith. 3 This group recognizes that when struggling with the inevitable ups and downs of weight loss and control, it s easy to lose hope. We are a Christ-centered healthy living program, based on proven techniques and 25 years of experience. We meet Thursdays at 6:45pm at Faith. Group Leaders: Kris Group Leaders: Do you knit or crochet? Do you want to learn? The Faithful Purls meet Wednesday evenings, 6:30-8pm at Faith for crafting & fellowship. Knitting instruction is available. Bring your own project, or use provided yarn and needles to knit prayer shawls, baby blankets or other items for charity. 8
7 ASSORTED GROUPS Bad Girls of the Bible Young Fathers Group Leader: Group Leader: Dita Daub Andy Schindler This group brings young fathers together to support, encourage and, most importantly, enhance our fathering skills. We will meet for 12 weeks on Saturdays at 8:30am at Faith. We will fellowship, pray, study, and have an outing or two. Specific study to be determined by group. Men of Faith Care & Share Bible Study Group Leader: Leon Goldenman Brian Lee Group Leader: This group is for men of all ages who are looking for more, even if they don t know what that is. Join other men to find out how God is part of this. We meet on Saturday mornings from 8-9am at Faith. 7 Do you ever feel less than perfect? Come learn about how God makes our mistakes work out for the best. This women s group will meet weekly on Thursday nights for approximately 8 weeks. Group Leader: Group Leaders: This is an informal Bible study held on Sunday mornings at 10:50am. We read a portion of scripture and then discuss it through a series of reflective questions. This study is open to everyone, whether you are a new believer, or have been walking with the Lord for a long time.

The group meets Sunday evenings and alternates between date nights and a devotional study. This year we will be studying Gary Chapman s 5 Love Languages. Please join us as we celebrate our relationships. Steve & Dita Daub This group is for couples of all ages and stages; a mix of new and mature believers. The focus will be fellowship and sharing a meal together every other Sunday evening. Childcare available. DEFROST Faithful Friends Gerald Paul & Mark Tilley Jayne Stolt Group Leaders: This group seeks to re-energize and equip participants to face challenges to their faith, inspire a clean heart and renew a right spirit. We will study Ephesians 6:10-20 and will consider the evidence for God within the realm of creation and within our lives. Devotion, Expression, Faith, Roots of Shield, Truth 5 Couples Fellowship Group Leader: This group is for anyone with a desire to serve by packing meals at Feed My Starving Children in Eagan on the last Monday of every month from 9:30-11:30am. We offer flexibility if you cannot serve each month, but ask for a commitment to being Faithful most months of the year as we seek to feed hungry kids around the world. 6
