Promise Keepers also helps married men to grow in their relationship with God and with their wives and family. Women Ladies Prayer Friday PM Spring Valley Church Youth Chapel Daisy Rios, Do you need an encouraging time of renewal and growth, then come join us as we pray for each other and support one another through diffcult times. 2 Young Adults Young Adults Bible Study Tuesday PM Bala and Laly Peterson, Part of the Walking Deep young adult ministry, this small group is for young people ages who are serious about their walk with God and want to grow deeper in their relationship with Christ. This group is a blend of married couples and singles and is a great place to discuss some of the hard questions of life and see what the Bible has to say. College Age Bible Study 1 st and 3 rd Thursday 7:00 pm The Works 1109 Bern Rd Wyomissing, PA Alexis Peterson, Held at The Works, this coed small group is a great place to fellowship, spiritual growth and a place to bring your friends. It is a casual laid back vibe, but you will still be able to ask deep questions and be able to get answers. Young Adult Bible Study Tuesday 7:00 PM 55 Downing Dr Wyomissing PA Pastor Kyle, This small group is part of the Walking Deep young adult ministry and is a mix of people who are sharing life together. We have a meal before the bible study and are currently doing the DVD series by John Bevere "Under Cover." Young Adult Bible Study Monday 7:00 PM City Light 246 North 9 th St, PA Jon and Emily Cifredo, Do you sometimes wonder what your purpose in this world is. If so this new small group held at the Northside City Light location may be what you are looking for. This group will be studying H 2 O Journey of Faith followed by The Purpose Driven Life and is open to young adults from all backgrounds. Come join us for free donuts, popcorn, coffee and beverages as we discover what on earth I am here for.

3 Senior Adults Joyful Hearts nd Noon Ernestine Towles, Joyful Hearts is an exciting and active group of people 55 and older. Lead by Ernestine Towles, they not only have monthly meetings on the 2nd Saturday of the month at 6 PM in the Conference Room at church, but there are informative events and lively outings as well. This is a fantastic opportunity to get connected with others in the same life stage and have a lot of fun building friendships while growing deeper in your relationship with Christ. Marriage and Family Fellowship Group and Bible Study Fleetwood CJ and Nadia Levan, Come out and join other married couples with families for a time of fellowship & study. This is a refreshing time of Bible study discussions & prayer time. Young Families Saturday PM Bi-weekly West Mac and Val Garvin, This is an energetic group for families with young children who are having a great time of learning more about God's Word while having fellowship with other families. The parents enjoy some "big people talk" while the children have their own short bible story and time to play. Young Families Wilson Pastor Glenn, A mixed small group with families, who are growing together in their relationships with Christ as they share life together.

Support Groups Grief Share Thursday PM Robin Shoemaker, This is a support group for people who have experienced the pain of the loss of a loved one and to help them work through that pain. Divorce Care Time TBA Spring Valley Church Bob Jackson, A support care where individuals fnd help as they recover from the hurt of separation and divorce, by providing tools to help toward healing and recovery whatever the outcome of the situation. For more information, please go to Celebrate Recovery Friday PM Sam and Faye Brantley, The purpose of the Celebrate Recovery Ministry is to fellowship and celebrates God s healing power in our lives through the 8 Recovery Principles. This experience allows us to be change. We open the door by sharing our experiences, strengths and hopes with one another. In addition, we become willing to accept God s grace in solving our life s problems. By working and applying these Biblical principles, we begin to grow spiritually. We become free from our addictive, compulsive and dysfunctional behaviors. This freedom creates peace, serenity, joy and most importantly, a stronger personal relationship with God and others.

Healing Ministry Wednesday PM Spring Valley Church Gene Myers and Shirley Chandler, The healing group is a ministry/support group that not only studies the topic of healing but various other topics of faith. They are an integral part of our altar team at Spring Valley. This ministry is designed to help support individuals who need healing in any area of their life. Prayer Prayer Shawl Ministry Tuesday 6:30 PM 3 rd Tuesday of the month Rotates Host Homes Pastor Aron, The Prayer Shawl Ministry has blessed so many people that have been hospitalized with illness through the shawls they crochet. If you want to learn to crochet or already know how, this is a great monthly group to join. Tuesday Night Prayer Tuesday 7:00 PM Spring Valley Church Sanctuary Pastor Mike, This is a group of prayer warriors that meet in the sanctuary every Tuesday Night to intercede in prayer for numerous issues. Childcare is available. Church Membership Sunday 10:00 AM Sharon Crawl, This class runs on a 13 week cycle. This course deals with the doctrinal questions of the church as well as individual life practices. It is required for membership at Spring Valley and is taught by Sharon Crawl. Adult Bible Study Sunday 10:00 AM Spring Valley Church Room # 112 Marvin Crawl and Scott Lash, Come a little early or stay a little later on Sunday morning to attend this informative yet welcoming class. Sunday School is not a thing of the past, this class is dynamic and relevant to what you may be experiencing in your life. "But his delight is in the law of the Lord, and on his law he meditates day and night." (Psalm 1:2) Romans Bible Study Tuesday PM bi-weekly Wilson Pastor Hinson, This is a group for couples 40+ led by Pastor Hinson in a study of the Word and prayer. We are currently doing a verse-by-verse study of the book of Romans. Christian Music Artists Home Group Sunday Afternoon Shillington Keith and Shelly Thornton, This group is designed for musicians, and singers to study God's Word and grow deeper in their relationship with Christ as they fellowship with others who share the same passion. 2nd and 3rd Shift workers Bible Study Wednesday 10:30 AM Pastor Kyle, A great mid week time for people who do not work the "normal" 9-5. This group is a blend of men, women, married and single. Pastor Kyle leads discussion about the Christian journey and helps to guide you towards a closer walk with Christ.

Spanish Speaking Bible Study Wednesday 6:30 PM Spring Valley Church Romanian Congregation Room Carmen Bressler, This group meets at the church in the Romanian Congregation Room, but do not let that mislead you because Spanish is the language spoken. Sis Carmen has a passion to teach and encourage people who are more comfortable speaking in their native Spanish. This group will begin again Oct 2009 as they start another exciting discussion of how to live like Christ and to grow deeper in their relationship with God. Theology Over Easy Friday 6:30 AM Giannotti s 1714 Sate Hill Rd Wyomissing, PA Pastor Kyle, This is for the early risers who are serious about learning more about theology. Pastor Kyle will meet at 6:30 Am to discuss a variety of topics in theology from an academic angle, as well as building relationships with others learning and praying together.
