4 Seeking God in Prayer How do you experience the resurrection of Christ? Jesus said, I came that they may have life, and have It abundantly. (John 10:10b). Give thanks and praise to God that we can live with the reality and hope of the resurrection in our everyday lives. Pray for an open heart to see the ways in which God is present and blessing you with an abundant life. Doylestown Mennonite Church: P r ayer Guide DMC participants: Randy, Nancy, and Monica Heacock; Don and Kathy Heckler, Pray blessings! Denny Bartels had back surgery this week. Pray for Denny, Sue, and Dean as Denny goes through the recovery process. Pray for a good recovery for Bill Leatherman following the surgery he had on Friday. Pray for continued peace and a sense of God's presence for Bill and his family. Pray for Ruth Hart who had to have a cataract surgery redone this past week. Pray for improved vision and encouragement for Ruth. Regional: Worthwhile Wear/The Well: Pray for the ongoing work at the Well as residents are invited to come and live there to experience freedom and safety. Pray for the kitchen at the Well to be a place of physical and spiritual nourishment.

5 Global: Dale and Bethsaba Nafziger worship with their local congregation on Saturdays. Pray for their local church to be a faithful witness in their community. Today, as we celebrate Jesus victory over evil and death, pray with Mennonite Mission Network personnel that God will inspire in each of us the joyful impulse of the first missionaries, the women who shared good news of God s life and love across the street and around the world. P r ayer Opportunities Do you have a need, big or small? A decision to make? A health or financial concern? A doubt or worry? The prayer usher team who are serving in the prayer room next to the sanctuary are ready to pray with you each Sunday from 9:10 am through the worship service. As long as the door is open they are ready to pray with you. If they are busy, please feel free to wait on the front bench. Next Sunday, April 12, On a Journey of Following Jesus: Parish Prayers, 12 noon 1:30 pm. Bring your own lunch and join together for a time of sharing and praying together. Praying for your neighbors by name: As you begin working and walking outside now that spring is here, consider praying for your neighbors by name. Choose a different neighbor each day you are outside and ask God to bless them. See what happens!
