They usually contain activities based on the Scriptures used in worship today. If you are a guest you may wish to accompany your child to their Church School class, following Children s Time. As part of our Leading with Care policy, parents are asked to pick up their children from their classes at the end of the Service. THE NURSERY: Downstairs off the main hallway. AGES 3-6: Young Children in Worship meet in the Old Sanctuary (on the same level as the main Sanctuary). GRADES 2,3&4: Downstairs in the room furthest from the kitchen on the Northside. GRADES 5,6,7&8: Located downstairs, in the large classroom on the Southside of the Hall. BAGEL BREAKFAST: Downstairs across from the Women s washroom. We are a Leading with Care community. Page 5

7 W.A Spring Clothing Drive May 2nd Weekend This year the W.A. has decided to hold a Clothing Drive. We have contacted with a company called "Seconds". They will pay us by the bag. Everything worn on the person may be included. Hats, gloves, coats, dresses, slacks, P.J.'s, housecoats, shoes, bags, and purses etc. Bedding, towels, curtains also welcome. No jewelry please. We encourage you to place everything in garbage bags and drop them off in the Church Hall anytime between now and May 3rd on Sundays or Monday to Friday from 9:00am - 1:00pm. "Seconds" will be collecting them before noon on May 4th. Please mark the garbage bags W.A. Tell your friends and family! Avoid the rush, start cleaning those closets now! Thank you! 8 PLEASE KEEP YOUR MINISTERS INFORMED If you know of someone in the hospital or needing a visit please let us know. We d rather be told 2 or 3 times than not at all. Thank you. If you go into the hospital, for a planned surgery or unexpectedly, and would like a visit, please ask to have your name added to the Presbyterian list. This will ensure that Neal and Laura know you are in the hospital when they check in at the Spiritual Care office. Board Financial Update for March 2015 As of the end of March overall revenues were $66,429 with expenses totaling $80,479. This leaves us with a year to date deficit of $14,050 in the current account. Adding in the deficit of $6,296 carried over from 2014 we are actually running a deficit of $20,346 and are again having to borrow against the building fund to cover day to day expenses. We have a 2014 HST rebate coming in within the next month or so, as communicated at the Annual meeting last month. Once applied, that will reduce the deficit to near $14,000. Givings to Presbyterian Sharing totaled $9,264 against the goal of $27,814 which was agreed to at our March Annual Meeting. Please continue to keep the financial needs of the Church in your thoughts and prayers and thank you for your continued support and generosity. Page 8
