2 LECTIONARY READINGS FOR THIS QUARTER It is not obligatory for our preachers or churches to use these set readings, and there will be many occasions when other readings are chosen. The evening Communion services on 1 st Sunday of the month at 5.00 p.m. will be held at Hinckley Road and the Iona Style Services on 3 rd Sunday of the month, also at 5.00 p.m. will be at Abbots Green. For details please ring or MEET THE SUPER Revd Dr Tim Woolley is originally from Nuneaton. Tim is joining the circuit after 3 years working in the Discipleship and Ministries Learning Network. He is married to Hilary and they have two children, one of each, aged 8 and 14. Among other things he is passionate about mission and evangelism, Methodist theology and history, Birmingham City FC, Warwickshire cricket and The Archers. We will be welcoming Tim to the Circuit in a special service at Sapcote on Saturday 24 th 7:30pm NEW BURBAGE CHURCH BUILDING -OPENING CELEBRATION SERVICE Saturday 30 th September 3.00pm We are delighted to let friends around the circuit know that we are planning a service of praise and thanksgiving to celebrate the opening of our new church building. The new Chair of The Northampton District Rev. Helen Cameron will be present and the service will be followed by light refreshments. It has been a long journey for our congregation but we have been sustained by what we believe to be our God-given vision and by the prayers and generosity of many people, not least many of you. We are eagerly anticipating being able to begin road testing the new building at some point during the summer. Although unfortunately we will not be able to issue an open invitation to the service in September, owing to the limitations on seating, we are hoping to provide a number of opportunities prior to that when anyone interested will be able to come and look round, or even join us for worship. Details will be sent round the churches as soon as we have definite dates.
