6 The Readgs Haggai 2: 1 8 In second year of Kg Darius, seventh month, on twenty-first day of month, word of Lord came by prophet Haggai, sayg: Speak now Zerubbabel son of Shealtiel, governor of Judah, and Joshua son of Jehozadak, high priest, and remnant of people, and say, Who is left among you that saw this house its former glory? How does it look you now? Is it not your sight as nothg? Yet now take courage, O Zerubbabel, says Lord; take courage, O Joshua, son of Jehozadak, high priest; take courage, all you people of land, says Lord; work, for I am you, says Lord of hosts, accordg promise that I made you when you came out of Egypt. My spirit abides among you; do not fear. For thus says Lord of hosts: Once aga, a little while, I will shake heavens and earth and sea and dry land; and I will shake all nations, so that treasure of all nations shall come, and I will fill this house splendour, says Lord of hosts. The silver is me, and gold is me, says Lord of hosts. John 3: 1 8 Now re was a Pharisee named Nicodemus, a leader of Jews. He came Jesus by night and said him, Rabbi, we know that you are a teac who has come from God; for no one can do se signs that you do apart from presence of God. Jesus answered him, Very truly, I tell you, no one can see kgdom of God out beg born from above. Nicodemus said him, How can anyone be born after havg grown old? Can one enter a second time mor s womb and be born? Jesus answered, Very truly, I tell you, no one can enter kgdom of God out beg born of water and Spirit. What is born of flesh is flesh, and what is born of Spirit is spirit. Do not be asnished that I said you, You must be born from above. The wd blows we it chooses, and you hear sound of it, but you do not know we it comes from or we it goes. So it is everyone who is born of Spirit.
