3 THE HOLY GOSPEL ACCORDING TO Saint Matthew The Lord said, At that time when the Son of Man shall come in his majesty, and all the angels with him, then he will sit on the throne of his glory; and before him will be gathered all the nations, and he will separate them one from another, as the shepherd separates the sheep from the goats; and he will set the sheep on his right hand, but the goats on the left. We ask You in your boundless Compassion: Assist our weakness. Overcome our selfishness. Teach us to feed the hungry, to clothe the naked and to serve all people faithfully for your sake. Then we shall deserve to hear your Divine Voice saying: Come you who are blessed by my Father, inherit the Kingdom prepared for you from the foundation of the world.
