We talk a lot about the Light of Christ and how it works within our lives how we see it, how we feel it, how we reflect it back on others. Light is what allows us to literally see in this world. When it is dark, we cannot see, at least not wholly. This light allows us to spiritually see as well. I have spoken much about the manifestation of Christ to the world and letting the light of Christ open our eyes, ears, and hearts to truly see what Christ is showing us. See what and who is around us so that we might then be Christ to others. Let us take the time this season to allow this Light to wash over us, work in us, and renew our spirit to do the work Christ gives us to do in this parish, this community, and the world. Light is amazing as it can penetrate places we cannot see. To begin to search where the light shines allows us to open up those spaces and reveal them for all to see. As we near our Annual Meeting on Sunday, January 27, we have several opportunities for you to let your light shine in this place. We are looking for people to allow themselves to be nominated for the Vestry or Trustees. We will elect four new members to the Vestry for a three year term and one new member to the Trustees for a five year term. These are excellent ways to be a part of the workings of the Parish and to bring your talents to help all see the light that lives right here among us. Let the light continue to shine on us, on Trinity, and on all those who will work to renew our spirits to do the Lord s work. Let the light shine so that we might truly see what Christ calls us to do. Let the light shine so that we might use that light to burn with the Holy Spirit and to reveal Christ to all. Fr. Andy

Canterbury Welcome back Canterbury! Classes began January 9, and Canterbury met at Rosie's that night for their weekly Supper Club. We've changed our schedule a bit from last semester: we're going to have Coffee and Jesus at the Starbucks on campus from on Friday mornings. Anyone on campus around that time should come by--students, faculty, administrators, and just passersby--we'd love to see you there. Our Supper Club will be meeting at the same time and day-- Wednesday nights at 6--but we're going to meet at Callie's office and go from there. Tell the college students you know about this great ministry for college students. We've got it all: spiritual growth through conversation, friendship, and fun.
