The first activity is the UAP BBC Photowalk. This is a two part activity which aims the unity of members who are into photography and at the same time a form of encouragement to help them improve their works. The first part started at Conference room 2 of BPSU Admin Building with a seminar conducted by Sir Kurt Ibañez, a professional photographer in Bataan. At around 7pm the group moved their photowalk at Plaza Mayor Balanga, this is for lighting on Night Photography.

2 It was followed by a photowalk at Atium Residences where Architects got a chance to learn tips on how to capture Architectural Structures on natural daylight. 4 Title of Activity ACTIVITY NO.2 Coordination Meeting with Bataan Tourism Art Competition Date Sept. 7, 2017 Total Attendees 21 Venue Bataan Tourism Center Objective of the Activity To uplift the culture and arts in Bataan Type of Activity GMM Seminar x Socio-Civic Others Activity in line with 4Ps Profession x Professional Professional Organization Professional Product Activity in support of the UAP corporate thrust Unity x Accountability Professional Excellence Last September 7, 2017, the UAP BBC along with other artist organization such as GUHIT PINAS BATAAN, was honoured to meet the head of MOMFA (Museum of Modern Filipino Arts) spouse, Miriam & Josaias Dela Cruz for a coordination meeting for their upcoming plans for Bataan Artists. MOMFA is a museum to be built on Mt. Samat at Pilar, Bataan, this will house numerous art works from different local artist. They will be conducting a painting competition and Art workshop for next year before the start of the construction of their museum. UAP Balanga Bataan Chapter is represented by the organization s secretary Ar. Shiela Marie Roxas and tourism architect Ar. Christina Banzon-Enriquez. UAPBBC had pledge to give full support to MOMFA s vision, as being an organization with artist members itself. UAPBBC representative s Ar. Shiela & Ar. an art workshop for highschool art class students. Participants came from grades 7,8,9 & 10; all studying at Bataan National High School. This is to promote Architecture as a profession.

After the seminar, students were allowed to start their workshop, which the end product will serve as their entry to the students category for UAP BBC s art contest.

5 Title of Activity ACTIVITY NO.3 UAP BBC ARTIVITY 2017, ART WORKSHOP FOR STUDENTS Total Attendees 37 Venue Objective of the Activity Date September 8, 2017 Promote the Architecture Profession to young aspirants & help enhance their creativity Auditorium Room Bataan National High School Type of Activity GMM Seminar x Socio-Civic Others Activity in line with 4Ps x Profession Professional Professional Organization Professional Product Activity in support of the UAP corporate thrust Unity x Accountability Professional Excellence For the second activity of UAP BBC s 37 th anniversary, the organization conducted an art workshop for highschool art class students. Participants came from grades 7,8,9 & 10; all studying at Bataan National High School. This is to promote Architecture as a profession. UAP BBC in partnership with GUHIT PINAS BATAAN led the seminar helping students on visual study of colors and advance perspective tutorial. After the seminar, students were allowed to start their workshop, which the end product will serve as their entry to the students category for UAP BBC s art contest. Each Grade level will have one winner. The event ended with the awarding of certificates for both the students, and facilitators. Ar. Shiela Roxas & Ar. 8 ACTIVITY NO.4 Title of Activity 4 th UAP BBC Officers & Committee Meeting Date Sept. 9, 2017 Total Attendees 18 Venue Mc Donalds Diversion Balanga Objective of the Activity To discuss the upcoming UAPBBC Anniversary Party Type of Activity GMM Seminar Socio-Civic x Others _Meeting Activity in line with 4Ps Profession Professional x Professional Organization Professional Product Activity in support of the UAP corporate thrust x Unity Accountability Professional Excellence In preparation of the upcoming UAP BBC 37 th Founding anniversary the officers, committee together with UAPGA Bataan and UAPSA BPSU, gathered up for the final meeting to discuss the distribution of works for a good flow of event. Headed by UAP BBC President Sweetheart Maceda; the meeting had come up to divide all programs into 3 parts. First part will be the formal one which includes induction of UAP officers, UAP new members and UAPGA Bataan officers. It will be followed by the awarding ceremony for the artivity contest both for student s category and the professional category. And the last part is the fellowship. The event will also be supported by UAPSA BPSU and UAPGA Bataan, to which both organization pledge to help before and during the event. 9 ACTIVITY NO.5 Title of Activity UAP BBC Artivity 2017, Art Competition Date Sept. 16, 2017 Total Attendees 13 Venue Objective of the Activity To celebrate architecture in the form of arts Type of Activity GMM Seminar Socio-Civic x Others Competition Pan Resort and Hotel Abucay, Bataan Activity in line with 4Ps Profession Professional Professional Organization x Professional Product Activity in support of the UAP corporate thrust x Unity Accountability Professional Excellence For the 3 rd Anniversary Activity, The chapter had created an Art Competition open to all. Participants submitted their works on the day of event and was welcomed to join the celebration of UAP BBC. All in all, 13 art works had been submitted from Architects, Architecture Students and different artist in Bataan. The competition was judged by Guhit Pinas Bataan Adviser Sir Alexander Quizon, Area A2B District Director Edwin Michael De Dios and Area A2B immediate District Director Luz Casipong. 12 Title of Activity ACTIVITY NO.6 Coachella: A celebration of Arts, Music & Architecture UAP 37 th Founding Anniversary Total Attendees 158 Venue Objective of the Activity To celebrate the founding anniversary of UAP Balanga- Bataan Chapter Date Sept. 16, 2017 Pan Resort & Hotel, Abucay, Bataan Type of Activity GMM Seminar Socio-Civic x Others _Anniversary Party Activity in line with 4Ps Activity in support of the UAP corporate thrust Profession Professional x Professional Organization Professional Product x Unity Accountability Professional Excellence On its 37 th year as an organization, UAP Balanga Bataan Chapter had a feastful event with a COACHELLA theme which celebrates, Arts, Music and Architecture. The event as derived from its theme had not only honored Architecture as a profession but also featured and enhance talents of its members and the whole of Bataan in terms of music, arts and even photography. Photos from the recent photo walk were exhibit as well as the art competition entries. The event was also graced by UAPSA BPSU s bands and dance groups and also UAP BBC s band. The event sponsored by BOYSEN Paints was indeed a gathering of all types of arts. UAP BBC s band performing UAPSA BPSU s Band performing UAPGA Bataan s very own and renowned soft spoken words artist MaiMai Catillano UAPSA BPSU s dance group While waiting for the arrival of the guest speaker, the program proceed with the MR. & MS. Coachella, where members and guests who wore the best Coachella outfit were given award and an opportunity to display their wardrobe on the cat walk. Also raffle winners were drawn courtesy of the event sponsor BOYSEN Paints. The event also gave awards to different winners of Artivity 2017, from student division to professional artists. Then followed by dinner proper. The festivity continues as the chapter welcomed the event s special guest, UAP Secretary general Ar. Renato Heray and VP for Area A Ar. Jessie Avila, who came straight from another event to give proper induction to UAP Balanga Bataan Inductees. The first part of induction is for the UAP BBC Officers headed by Chapter President Sweetheart Maceda. Then followed by 56 New UAP BBC members, where pinning was helped done by former chapter presidents, officers and directors. The event also held the official induction of UAPGA Bataan Officers.
