4 LEAD INSTRUCTORS Gabriel Azoulay Inspired by Osho s words laughter is the language of the Gods Gabriel (GabeYoga) Azoulay teachings are grounded in the depth of Yoga Philosophy, yet filled with modern day tips, insights and loads of laughter. Having discovered Patanjali s Yoga Sutras in his college library in 1994, Gabe has seen yoga grow from an unknown word to a commercial powerhouse. With over 25 years of teaching and practicing, Gabe has lived in Mysore, spent months studying Thai Massage with Master Pichest Boonthume in Thailand, and has written countless articles and a few books to help enrich the community and support students. He continues to work with all level of students and travels the world leading events, trainings, workshops and retreats. Founder and owner of H3Yoga ( Yaron Cohen Yaron has been practicing yoga for 28 years, and teaching it for 15 years. He is a Yoga Alliance-certified yoga teacher RYT 200. He attended an 18-month meditation retreat in Zen and Forest Buddhist monasteries in Japan and Thailand. He was healed from an incurable disease (colitis) by the practice of meditation and scriptures-based yoga (for example: Hatha Yoga Pradipika). 9 BEACH RESORT ACCOMMODATION Orion Retreat Centre is located on the peaceful, soft sands of Lipa Noi Beach on Koh Samui s peaceful West coast. 17 GETTING HERE & CONTACT DETAILS GETTING HERE: Flying directly to Koh Samui is by far the easiest way of getting to the island. Orion Retreat Centre is about a 1 hour drive from the Koh Samui airport and 20 minutes for the Ferry Terminals. You have 4 main choices for getting from Bangkok to Koh Samui: The easiest and quickest way to get to Koh Samui from Bangkok is to fly. Flights are cheap if you book early. Bangkok Airlines has 19 flights per day from Bangkok to Koh Samui. Thai Airways has 2 flights per day. Fly from Bangkok to Surat Thani and then ferry across to Koh Samui This is cheaper than flying directly to Koh Samui but the bus from the airport to the pier and the ferry across to Koh Samui add at least 3 hours to your travel time. Nok Air and Air Asia have 5 flights per day from Bangkok to Surat Thani. It s easiest to buy your bus/ferry tickets in the Surat Thani airport after you arrive. Bus & ferry information from Surat Thani to Koh Samui Train from Bangkok to Surat Thani and then ferry to Koh Samui The overnight train from Bangkok to Surat Thani is fun and much more enjoyable than the bus. 18 FAQs What style of Yoga is the Teacher Training? This is a Hatha Teacher training with focus on VinYasa, Yin, Sivananda and Basic Ashtanga. How proficient in Yoga do I need to be to do the 200-hour Program? Come as you are. It would be best to have at least experienced 30 days of yoga classes, though we believe in taking you from where you are and developing your skills for teaching and living. Yoga is a lifelong practice, which this training is your kick start. What will I learn in the 200-hour Program? You will learn: How to guide students through an asana (poses) practice. You will develop the confidence to stand in public and communicate (public speaking through the lens of Yoga Teaching). The history and philosophy of Yoga,. Key figures of Yin Yoga Who is Patanjali and what is the Hatha Yoga Pradipika Meditation and various styles of meditation Pranayama - breath control How Yoga heals the body from personal experiences of those who got healed. I have an injury/special condition/pregnant - Can I still take this Course? Of course! You will learn how to address any contraindication, as well as how to take care of your body. We believe that those with challenges tend to be better teachers because they understand that Yoga is not what it looks like in Yoga Magazines. What are the 200-hour assessment/graduation requirements? Everyone graduates. Your aim is to participate in the program, to do your best, and to honour yourself and those around you.this is an adult education program designed to inspire, enhance and contribute to your life. Not to cause you sleepless nights of feeling that you can fail. There is no such thing as failure, only learning and growing.

19 Is there a minimum or maximum age requirement to take the training? Minimum age defined by Yoga Alliance is 17 years of age. Though if you are under 18 you will need to provide signed consent form from your parent/guardian. There is absolutely no maximum age limit. H3 Yoga has graduated students who were 82 years old. Come as you are, and discover that the program respects you and honours your journey where you start. In fact, with the older generation beginning to value yoga more, the need for older teachers is on the rise. Is there any required reading before I arrive? Will I get a reading list? There is no pre reading required, and all the reading material you need for the course will be provided to you. You will receive a recommend books to continue your personal study during the training. Do I need to purchase all the books on the required reading list? No! All books and reading material are provided as part of the course. In fact, this is the only course that also equips you with yoga video classes and lectures so you can review them for the rest of your life. What materials will I receive on the Program? You will receive digital material in the form of PDF, Videos and Audio. You will also receive a printed manual with course material, anatomy insight and sequence for yoga practice. Also included are flash cards with sequences and insightful quotes. A diary for writing OmWork is also provided. How big are the classes? How many students are you enrolling in the Teacher Training? We will limit the course to 25 people, and you will be working in mini groups when learning how to teach. What style of yoga and meditation will I be qualified to teach once I complete the 200-hour Teacher Training Program? 20 English is my second language, do I need to demonstrate my ability to speak and write in English? No. Though the course will be taught in English. You can teach in your own language but when you are teaching for feedback, you will be give instructions for teaching in English, though we will help you understand how to translate the English to your native tongue. Will I have free time during the training? Of Course!!! There is plenty of free time each day for you to enjoy the beach, explore the island, get a massage or just relax. You will have one full day off a week. Please see curriculum for exact breakdown of class, lecture and free time. Will I have the opportunity to teach a class during training? Of course! You will have weekly sessions where you will be teaching. You will be teaching a class by the end of the first week! What kind of ongoing support Is available after my training? Not only do you have the videos, audios and PDF to support you for life. The teachers are available to you via and 4 Skype sessions free of charge. From airport or Ferry, there are taxi services or minibuses available. We are happy to help you arrange the transfer for you to your hotel.
