YOUTH GROUP: The Youth Group will be meeting this week at Wayne and Joyce Dykema s house (35 Chestnut Drive) from 7 9 pm for a fun night. All youth high school age and higher are welcome. See You Tuesday!! Upcoming Young People Fundraiser: Everyone is welcome to join us after the service on Good Friday for brunch. Cost is on a donation basis and the funds raised will help to offset the cost for the 10 youth we have who are attending the All Ontario Convention. This year we will be serving egg sandwiches, pancakes, and home fries, coffee, tea, and juice. Join us for brunch and a great time of fellowship while supporting our Youth Group. 4 9

Retiring Elders are Charley Feddes and John Lubbers and retiring Deacon is Casey DePooter. Please prayerfully consider who you feel are gifted for these tasks. Please submit your signed nominations to any member of council. For your convenience, a table is provided at the end of the bulletin that you may use to submit your nominations before the next council meeting. The date of the next council meeting is April 11, Please have all nominations to council before April 11th. Thank-You. FINANCE COMMITTEE: In the first three months the budget is short $ Each month $20650 has to be brought in to meet the budget and so far only $45281 has come in. The Finance Committee asks that if you are able to give to give in a timely manner. Thank-You. VBS: There will be a VBS work day this Tuesday, April 4 th from 9 am to 3 pm. Come anytime in between 9 and 3 to help get things ready for this years VBS. If any one is willing to help at home we have lots of snow flakes that need to be cut out. 6 CHOIR PRACTICE: Choir practice is this Monday, April 3rd at 7:30 pm. Holy Week Services: The Holy Week Services this year will be at our church on Monday, April 10th to Thursday, April 13th. The services begin at 12:10pm and conclude at 12:30pm, with a light lunch to follow each service. The speakers for the week are Monday, April 10 ~ Pastor Josh, Tuesday, April 11 ~ Pastor Len Meyers, Wednesday, April 12 ~ Pastor Jim Kettle and Thursday, April 13 ~ Pastor Barb Sargent. FREE Community Breakfast: Save the date on April 29 for 8:30 am 10:30 am we are hosting a free community breakfast. Join us on April 29th for breakfast and to help make the people of our community feel welcome. We are looking for volunteers to help with this event. Join a Canada-wide Choir: The O Canada Choir is a virtual choir project, performing a new arrangement of O Canada in honour of our nation's 150th birthday. Individual singers and musicians can download sheet music and mp3 accompaniment tracks from the website, They then record themselves on video performing their part and upload it to the website to be combined into one massive performance. Set! Alphabet!! The Wallaceburg Christian School is holding a free 6-week introduction to the JK and SK program for children who were born in 2012 or Children will experience Bible stories, carpet time, craft time and play time under the supervision of a qualified teacher. Men's Choir Festival of Praise: The Christian Male Chorus Association of Southwest Ontario invites you to their 2017 Festival of Praise, to be held on Saturday, April 29th at St. Paul's Congregational Church in Chatham. Each of the five choirs will be presenting their songs and all voices will join together to form the mass choir. Tickets are $10.00 per person. Proceeds for the evening will support the Chatham Kent Outreach for Hunger and the Shepherd's Way Inn. For advance tickets please call any member of your local Men's Choir or Paul Hoekstra at THINE BE THE GLORY! An Easter Concert: Globally recognized organist Andre Knevel and Pan Flutist Liselotte Rokyta will make their annual stop in Chatham to perform a benefit concert. They will perform Friday, April 7th dv at 7:30pm at the Living Hope Free Reformed Church Gregory Drive, Chatham, with contributions from Willem Ligthart and the Eben-Ezer Christian School Choir. A free will offering will be accepted to benefit the Eben-Ezer Christian School.
