4 Our appreciation to Seth and Lindsey Dimond for being greeters. The Brethren Hour will be broadcast from 5 p.m. to 6 p.m. on WLBR 1270 AM will be from Annual Conference. Nursery There will be no nursery during the summer. It will resume at a later date. Gift cards The gift card order will be processed Aug. 5 th. Don t forget, you don t have to buy gift cards for a gift, you can use them yourself. Make sure you look over the list of businesses, as new ones have been added. This week we are praying for Drexel Hill Church of the Brethren and Skippack Church of the Brethren is praying for us. Council minutes are in the Gathering Place. Looking for a way to keep active this summer? Come join the Women's Fellowship group on Monday evenings to walk around Fairlane Ave Park. We will meet at 7:00 p.m. at the lot off Fairlane Ave. (by the playground). Our weekly walks will begin July 2 nd. Tulpehocken UCC is hosting I ll Fly Away on Saturday, July 21 st at 7:00 p.m. See the bulletin board for more information. National Night Out Women s Fellowship is going to have games and balloons at the National Night Out at the Myerstown park on August 7 th. If you would like to help with this event, please contact Jess Singer. Mt. Gretna Bible Festival Massed Choir Concert Sunday, July 29 th at 7:00 p.m. at the Mt. Gretna Tabernacle. About 200 voices will be conducted by internationally known composers Heather Sorenson and Howard Helvey. All are welcome to attend. A free-will offering will be taken. MCoB has several members that will be singing in this choir. Christmas in July - Sign up sheet is in the Gathering Place for the residents of the "Susan Dowhower House".Christmas in July". Bring the presents to church by July 25 th. If anybody is interested in going with we read the Christmas Story, sing Christmas Carols and play Bingo. refreshments, drink. Mission & Fellowship Commission is collecting School supplies and clothing for the Zion United Methodist Church in Myerstown "ELCO RAIDERS TREASURE CHEST". They are collecting new or clean used clothing, infant to adult and also shoes, belts, scarves, hats, gloves, etc. Collection will continue till Aug. 5 th. If you have any questions, see a commission member. Pew Communion will be July 22 nd during the worship service. Youth Sunday July 29 th is Youth Sunday at the time, there will be a presentation on the Youth trip to Boston and National Youth Conference.
