Knights Acolyte/Lector Retreat The Knights of Columbus-sponsored Acolyte and Lector Retreat is Saturday, March 23 with Mass at 7:30am, breakfast, practicum and conferences at 8am in Rectors Hall, and concluding with confession from 11:30am-12:30pm. Perpetual Adoration Program Pope St. Pius X identified the meaning of the first petition of the Lord s prayer: Give us this day our daily bread, - it refers to the Eucharist. Please join us at 5:30pm on Mondays to pray the daily prayer of the Church (evening prayer and night prayer) in the Cathedral Marian Chapel. The intention is for our nation and our nation s leaders. Christian Prayer Books will be provided. Relic of St. John Vianney The incorruptible heart of St. John Vianney (a first class relic) will be coming to Cathedral on Wednesday, March 20. A special Mass will be celebrated by Bishop Conley at 10am followed by veneration of the relic until 2pm (open to the public). This is part of a national tour hosted by the Knights of Columbus. Visit for details. Rice Bowls Please take home a rice bowl found in the vestibule. This is a great way to help the poor as a family. SCRIP PCCW your weekend to sell scrip is March 23 & 24. Stewards of the Body of Christ We are all called to be good stewards of the Body of Christ, the People of God. Join us in praying one Our Father, one Hail Mary, and one Glory Be daily for this intention: that the Cathedral parish family will grow toward greater perfection in unity, love, and holiness. Seven Sundays of St. Joseph Join the Seven Sundays of St. Joseph Devotion this Sunday at 8:30pm in the Marian Chapel for prayers & reflection on the life of St. Joseph. The Good Shepherd Scholarship, the Family Cap Scholarship, and local school scholarships help to keep Catholic education affordable for any family. The Good Shepherd Scholarship is available to any student, regardless of religious affiliation. 9 Dear Parishioners, The 3 rd Annual Spring Fling is on May 5th from 12-4 pm. This is an AMAZING event for adults and children alike, sponsored by the PCCW! Come enjoy lunch among friends, try your luck at BINGO, enjoy music, participate in the cake walk, get your face painted, or bounce in one of our inflatables! EVERYONE is welcome and encouraged to come! PCCW is the Parish Council of Catholic Women. We are made up of 12 groups of women who support our parish in numerous ways. The most important role we have is to pay for ALL of the hosts for every Mass, for the entire year! This costs the PCCW thousands of dollars every year. We also fundraise for specific needs of the parish. Right now, we are fundraising to get a new sound system for the church. Depending on where you sit during Mass, you understand why it is needed! We have $5,500 so far which covers 10% of the overall cost. All proceeds from the Spring Fling will go towards the Sound System. The Spring Fling is a community event for our entire parish family. It costs the PCCW around $4,000 each year. To alleviate some of the costs, we ask you to consider a Spring Fling sponsorship. Individuals, families, groups of friends, parish organizations, and businesses are all invited to sponsor one of our many activities or needs. We need your help and support to make this a fun and successful event for many years to come!
