And Hashem spoke to Moses after the death of the two sons of Aaron, when they came near Hashem, and died; 2. And Hashem said to Moses, Speak to Aaron your brother, that he come not at all times into the holy place inside the veil before the covering, which is upon the ark; that he die not; for I will appear in the cloud upon the covering. 3. Thus shall Aaron come into the holy place; with a young bull for a sin offering, and a ram for a burnt offering. 4. He shall put on the holy linen coat, and he shall have the linen breeches 2
3 upon his flesh, and shall be girded with a linen girdle, and with the linen mitre shall he be attired; these are holy garments; therefore shall he wash his flesh in water, and so put them on. 5. And he shall take of the congregation of the people of Israel two kids of the goats for a sin offering, and one ram for a burnt offering. 6. And Aaron shall offer his bull of the sin offering, which is for himself, and make an atonement for himself, and for his house. 7. And he shall take the two goats, and present them before Hashem at the door of the Tent of Meeting. 8. And Aaron shall cast lots upon the two goats; one lot for Hashem, and the other lot for Azazel. 9. And Aaron shall bring the goat upon which Hashem s lot fell, and offer him for a sin offering. 10. But the goat, on which the lot fell to be for Azazel, shall be presented alive before Hashem, to make an atonement with him, and to let him go to Azazel into the wilderness. 11. And Aaron shall bring the bull of the sin offering, which is for himself, and shall make an atonement for himself, and for his house, and shall kill the bull of the sin offering which is for himself; 12. And he shall take a censer full of burning coals of fire from the altar before Hashem, and his hands full of sweet incense beaten small, and bring it inside the veil; 13. And he shall put the incense upon the fire before Hashem, that the cloud of the incense may cover the covering that is upon the Testimony, that he die not; 14. And he shall take of the blood of the bull, and sprinkle it with his finger upon the covering eastward; and before the covering shall he sprinkle of the blood with his finger seven times. 15. Then shall he kill the goat of the sin offering, that is for the people, and bring his blood inside the veil, and do with that blood as he did with the blood of the bull, and sprinkle it upon the covering, and before the covering; 16. And he shall make an atonement for the holy place, because of the uncleanness of the people of Israel, and because of their transgressions in all their sins; and so shall he do for the Tent of Meeting, that remains among them in the midst of their uncleanness. 17. And there shall be no man in the Tent of Meeting when he goes in to make an atonement in the holy place, until he comes out, and have made an atonement for himself, and for his household, and for all the congregation of Israel. ipy 2nd Aliyah - Yitzchak (Gevurah) g w lß e eiæ l r x Rt kß e d FedßiŒi pßt l x Wy ` g Aaßf On dœl ` ` v iß e 18 :ai a q g Aaßf On d z Fe pß x wœl r o z pß e xi r Vy d m Cc n Ee x Rt d m Cc n Fe x d hß e miæ n rßrt r a Wy Fe r Aaßv `ßAa m Cc dœo n eiø l r d Gf dß e 19 Wy c Tw dœz ` x Rt Mk n d Nl kß e 20 :l ` xßuy i ï pßaa z `ßn Hh n Fe Wyß Cc wß e :i g d xi r Vy dœz ` ai xßw dß e gæ Aaßf On dœz `ß e c rfen l d `Œz `ß e ºi g d ªxi r Vy d Wy` xœl r e c i i YzßWyŒz ` o x d ` Kj n qß e 21 l ` xßuy i i pßaa z p e rœl MkŒz ` ei l r d Cc eßz dß e Wy` xœl r m z ` o z pß e mæ z` Hh gœl kßl m di rßwy RtŒl MkŒz `ß e 3

And brings it not to the door of the Tent of Meeting, to offer it to Hashem; that man shall be cut off from among his people. 10. And whoever there is of the house of Israel, or of the strangers who sojourn among you, who eats any kind of blood; I will set my face against that soul who eats blood, and will cut him off from among his people. 11. For the life of the flesh is in the blood; and I have given it to you upon the altar to make an atonement for your souls; for it is the blood that makes an atonement for the soul. 12. Therefore I said to the people of Israel, No soul of you shall eat blood, nor shall any stranger who sojourns among you eat blood. 13. And whoever there is of the people of Israel, or of the strangers who sojourn among you, who hunts and catches any beast or bird that may be eaten; he shall pour out its blood, and cover it with dust. 14. For it is the life of all flesh; the blood of it is for its life; therefore I said to the people of Israel, You shall not eat the blood of any kind of flesh; for the life of all flesh is its blood; whoever eats it shall be cut off. 15. And every soul who eats that which died of itself, or that which was torn by beasts, whether he is one of your own country, or a stranger, he shall both wash his clothes, and bathe himself in water, and be unclean until the evening; then shall he be clean. 16. But if he washes them not, nor bathe his flesh; then he shall bear his iniquity. Chapter And Hashem spoke to Moses, saying, 2.
