Yahshua servant's Home Page // About Us Cain the Seed of Satan? Cain Son of Satan By Your servant, Dan Baxley This is a subject that is full of traps and misdirection. Here is a small study that should set anyone interested in Bible truth on a path of critical thinking when it comes to the mythic tales some teachers try to turn the Holy Bible, the Scripture into. Through the imaginations of men movies are made, books are written and Scripture is taken out of context and twisted to create a fiction and then call it truth. What happens when the imaginations runs wild is the degrading of what the Bible is telling us. Unlike mythic books the Book of Genesis is written in a completely different style, it is written as a firsthand account, as history, about things that are reported as fact. The mythic writings have the fantastic fantasies reduced to humans preforming great feats, or should I say, are writings about humans that become more than human and accomplish the fantastic. When, however, compared to the Biblical accounts we see it is the Creator that accomplishes the fantastic, the miraculous, but on a level humans should be able to understand because they are at the center of it all. What happens in the record of Genesis is straight forward and to the point, while the writings of men telling tales or building legends are very different with many more words and adventures. The scale is much different and the style and the heroism are different. Most of the heroes in the Bible are common men with many failings struggling to get along while trying to be loyal to their God. When we read the account recorded in Genesis we see people like us, we do not see gods, we are told of a God, but we do not see the people as gods, not even half gods as we see in later writings of the Greeks and others. You must know, I don't really buy into the "seed of Satan" teaching, not really, actually, not at all. I have heard of some pretty smart men putting this teaching forward. You know, the one were Satan s seed and first born was Cain, and through the line of Cain we have his seed among

us, even our Savior identified some of them and on the surface the verses these teachers quote seem to hold water, but when you start looking at the context of the verses you find these verses are out of context and are allegorical in nature with a spiritual reference and a warning attached. I hope to demonstrate, by the Word, that Cain is not the son of Satan, and that his descendants did not cross over from the flood and are not among us. A Brief First it is my position that humans can be a child of Satan or the "seed" of Satan without having been spawned by Him. As an example, take yourself, you are a child of God, begotten of Him by the Spirit that beget YaHshua -- this is what the "born again" theme is all about, but you were not literally spawned by God Himself, as a man might impregnate a woman giving birth to you. YaHshua was created in the womb of a human woman by the Power of His Creative Spirit, the Holy Spirit of His Father. And this is a miracle indeed, a human birth without contact, a true miracle among humans. When anyone says that Satan is the literal father of Cain takes away from the miracle birth of our Savior, for this would mean Satan has had the power of procreation himself, and perhaps his angels too, way before our Savior ever came into being. This suggestion and teaching denigrates our Saviors existence. The Fantasy I know some do teach that Satan taught Eve all about sex and having sex with her he fathered, by this sinful act, Cain. [Now I have your attention, see how you suddenly perked up, just the suggestion of such a thing is tantalizing, isn t it?] Then Eve turned to Adam and showed him how to perform this sinful act so he too then had sex with Eve. She then gives birth to two boys, one from Adam and the other from Satan. This takes us to the false teaching that angels can have sex and even marry human women and have children. It also suggests that the act of sex is the forbidden fruit and is evil. Enough of the fantasy, let s go to the verses these teachers like to quote and I will comment on each, keeping it real, not fantastic -- Using the English Standard Version for convenience -- (John 8:44) You are of your father the devil, and your will is to do your father's desires. He was a murderer from the beginning, and has nothing to do with the truth, because there is no truth in him. When he lies, he speaks out of his own character, for he is a liar and the father of lies. ESV Notice, no mention of Noah or Adam as fathers, only the "devil", and indeed, it does sound like YaHshua is say these Pharisees are children of the Devil but wait a minute this is not the subject of this discussion with the Pharisees. Let s take a closer look and consider what YaHshua is saying and what He means. The Pharisees were not literal descendants of Satan, if they were YaHshua would have mentioned Adam, and then Cain, creating a connection leading to these men, a small genealogy would have been appropriate, but no, Yahshua is talking about how they were acting, how they were demonstrating the same character as Satan. These men were acting as agents of Satan and their connection was not through the physical act of procreation by Satan, but by the act of lying, these men were liars, and as Satan is the father of lies, this makes them

his sons, figuratively, and they become good examples of guilt by association -- it is about revealed "character". The whole context breathes out this connection of character by choice, not by birth. We see they, the Pharisees, had the opportunity to become "sons of God" merely by accepting Him, YaHshua, but instead of acceptance, even with the evidence staring at them in the Body of YaHshua but in their own writing they reject Him and plotted to kill Him all they had to do was believe -- (John 5:39-43) You (Pharisees) search the Scriptures because you think that in them you have eternal life; and it is they that bear witness about me, yet you refuse to come to me that you may have life. I do not receive glory from people. But I know that you do not have the love of God within you. I have come in my Father's name, and you do not receive me. If another comes in his own name, you will receive him. By One Man Death Spread to Men (Rom 5:12-13) Therefore, just as sin came into the world through one man, and death through sin, and so death spread to all men because all sinned-- for sin indeed was in the world before the law was given, but sin is not counted where there is no law. You will notice that it is not Cain that is given credit for bringing sin into the world, it is Adam. This truth alone should quiet those who teach that it was rebel angels that corrupted mankind; it was Adam and his willingness to ignore his Creator by letting Eve listen to the serpent, and when YaHWeH confronts Eve, He says Eve was deceived, but He does not say that about Adam. No, it was not angels corrupting mankind and if we see the serpent as Satan, or at least influenced by this powerful angel we have to acknowledge that he, Satan, had already rebelled. Finding a way into the Garden, he alone, with cunning speech, tempted Eve while Adam watched and listened. Satan and certain angels had already fallen from grace, long before this. So, it cannot be as some say, calling on Genesis 6 to blame angels taking human wives, thus their fall from grace and then corrupting mankind. No, the corruption, the sin and death were brought in by Adam. A point of interest, concerning this teaching about fallen angels corrupting mankind While the ancient Rabbis teach this, other pick it up and go a step further by pointing to the fanciful Book of Enoch which the teachers of this false doctrine quote often and present as the legitimate writings of righteous Enoch, found in Genesis 5:22 how these supposed writings managed to survive the flood is any bodies guess, well, actually, the writings are fake and fantasy. Paul is teaching that sin came into the world through Adam and this should spin back the idea that the sin came by Satan or by Cain Satan brought sin to the angels when sin was found in him and then went on to convince a third of the angels to follow him. While Cain murdered his brother because of the sin found in him inherited from his father Adam. Abel, however, chose to believe God s warnings and take to heart the need for a sacrifice, while Cain did not. It is Adam, not Cain and not even Satan, that has this infamous distinction of bringing sin into the world. Adam is never called "the son of Satan", but he is called a son of God (Luke

3:38). This would mean that the Sons of God can and are capable of sin. Sin is our choice, and to fight against it is our choice and by accepting YaHshua we can claim His blood to cover our sin and then we are set right with our Creator. The Pharisees YaHshua faced off that day, those very religious and devout men of the cloth, those who plotted and planned against Him, were revealing their true character Him -- a character like that of Satan. But they could change and we find in Acts 15 that some did. Not all Pharisees are the seed of Satan, as some teach, how can they be? Obviously the Pharisees that YaHshua called the children of Satan, or that Satan was their father, did not all remain as belonging to Satan as believers they would then be part of the Children of God. It is also notable that these teachers of the Law in their positions as Pharisee did not vacate their positions when they became believers very interesting. (Act 15:5) But there rose up certain of the sect of the Pharisees which believed, saying, that it was needful to circumcise them, and to command them to keep the law of Moses. And Then There was Eve Eve has taken the hit over the centuries but on a closer investigation and closer reading of Scripture we see that Adam is standing right next to Eve -- they were standing side by side as Eve engaged the Serpent in conversation -- Adam knew better but kept his mouth shut, letting his mate go where no man had gone before. Adam was not standing there watching Eve have sex with Satan, he was listening in and not putting a stop to where this conversation was headed. His silence shouts out loudly his own personal lust for the forbidden tree of knowledge, not of sex. What's wrong with "knowledge", hum let me think, oh, yeah, think atomic bomb. Anyway, Eve has been totally blamed for the condition of mankind when, in fact, it was Adam. Adam had direct knowledge to stay away from that tree but did nothing to stop Eve and after Eve took a bit and did not drop dead Adam obviously thought it was safe to eat too. She turned to Adam and Adam took and ate. Just think, Adam, who had the power to stop Eve and lead her away from the tree, did not, and then he actually threw his mate in harm s way, letting her test the fruit first. After all, he did not want to be poisoned. Then later he threw her under the bus, well, maybe not a bus, perhaps a big Sauropod -- when asked by YaHWeH what had happened, Adam said, "Oh, oh, that woman YOU gave me, she made me eat...", he blamed Eve (Gen 3:12). Later we read that Adam is identified as the one responsible for bringing the penalty of death into the world due to his sin, not Eve. Sure, she is culpable, but Adam was in charge. SIN So, what is sin, then? The Torah was not around, there were no Pharisees to enforce the Law, so what was the "sin"? Reading those verses again, and we are reminded that the Law had not been given yet, so what was the sin that brought in the death penalty? They did not believe their Creator. They did not believe YaHWeH and we see the reverse of this in Abraham (Gal 3:5-7) Does He who supplies the Spirit to you and works miracles among you do so by works of the law, or by hearing with faith -- just as Abraham "believed God, and it was counted to him as righteousness"? Know then that it is those of faith who are the sons of Abraham.

We are told that Abraham s righteousness was due to his believing YaHWeH -- Abraham's belief was counted as righteousness -- no mention of sexual misadventure or any other type of sin, but one thing is perfectly clear, the sin that brings about death is not the Law, and the sin is not sex. Later we find Abraham having lots of sex and with more than his wife. After his wife died, he took another wife and more concubines and had 12 more sons besides Isaac. Before Abraham died he sent these 12 sons away, giving them their inheritance (buying them off) to venture out toward the East, away from Isaac the son of the promise, who later becomes the father of Jacob and thus Israel. So, before the Law (Torah) there was sin and this sin was to ignore YaHWeH. (Rom 8:14) For all who are led by the Spirit of God are sons of God.-- This verse would suggest how we are led, not how we are birthed, into becoming a son of God or a son of Satan. If led by the Spirit of Satan then that person would belong to him, but one chooses to accept YaHshua and be led by His Spirit, the Spirit of God the Father, then the same would be called the Sons of God it is all about making choices. Even though we are now called Sons of God, our transformation is not complete for evil is still with us -- (Rom 7:21) I find then a law, that, when I would do good, evil is present with me -- It is by the choices we make, to do or not to do, to struggle and repent against doing wrong, never stopping or buying into the world's (the weeds) attitude that we are all really good and seeking god, just in different ways, and other such excuses for feeling good about our sinful ways, and when we do this we are then not believing God when He says we shall surely die, and in doing this, we side with Satan (Gen 3:4). Just so no one misunderstands, sin is not the Law, the Law is the expression of sin and sin, as revealed by YaHWeH is expressed in the Ten Commandments. Our Savior expanded these written commands into the spiritual realm, so that even our lustful thinking can be counted as sin against us, not just the physical acts. (Mat 5:27-8) "You have heard that it was said, 'You shall not commit adultery.' But I say to you that everyone who looks at a woman with lustful intent has already committed adultery with her in his heart. But, there has been a change and while YaHshua s words are true the new balance needs to be found and it is to Paul, called by YaHshua to the Gentiles and this is the new understanding, and it in no way does away with the Law, for we would not know what sin is otherwise for after Adam came Abraham and after Abraham came the Law, or the Torah, then came YaHshua, expanding the written Law to a new and higher level and then after His death, there was a change to accommodate a covenant opening the way for all men to come to God the Father. This is not about how you observe days and times, or how many physical ways you preform your style of worship. Paul teaches us this difference, this change (Rom 7:7) What then shall we say? That the law is sin? By no means! Yet if it had not been for the law, I would not have known sin. For I would not have known what it is to covet if the law had not said, "You shall not covet."

(Rom 7:8) But sin, seizing an opportunity through the commandment, produced in me all kinds of covetousness. For apart from the law, sin lies dead. (Rom 7:9) I was once alive apart from the law, but when the commandment came, sin came alive and I died. (Rom 7:10) The very commandment that promised life proved to be death to me. (Rom 7:11) For sin, seizing an opportunity through the commandment, deceived me and through it killed me. (Rom 7:12) So the law is holy, and the commandment is holy and righteous and good. (Rom 7:13) Did that which is good, then, bring death to me? By no means! It was sin, producing death in me through what is good, in order that sin might be shown to be sin, and through the commandment might become sinful beyond measure. (Rom 7:14) For we know that the law is spiritual, but I am of the flesh, sold under sin. (Rom 7:15) For I do not understand my own actions. For I do not do what I want, but I do the very thing I hate. (Rom 7:16) Now if I do what I do not want, I agree with the law, that it is good. (Rom 7:17) So now it is no longer I who do it, but sin that dwells within me. (Rom 7:18) For I know that nothing good dwells in me, that is, in my flesh. For I have the desire to do what is right, but not the ability to carry it out. (Rom 7:19) For I do not do the good I want, but the evil I do not want is what I keep on doing. (Rom 7:20) Now if I do what I do not want, it is no longer I who do it, but sin that dwells within me. (Rom 7:21) So I find it to be a law that when I want to do right, evil lies close at hand. (Rom 7:22-23) For I delight in the law of God, in my inner being, but I see in my members another law waging war against the law of my mind and making me captive to the law of sin that dwells in my members. (Rom 7:24) Wretched man that I am! Who will deliver me from this body of death? (Rom 7:25) Thanks be to God through YaHshua the Christ our Lord! So then, I myself serve the law of God with my mind, but with my flesh I serve the law of sin.

In a message to the Corinthians Paul listed those sins that would keep one out of the Kingdom (1Co 6:9-10) Or do you not know that the unrighteous will not inherit the kingdom of God? Do not be deceived: neither the sexually immoral, nor idolaters, nor adulterers, nor men who practice homosexuality, nor thieves, nor the greedy, nor drunkards, nor revilers, nor swindlers will inherit the kingdom of God. Not my words so I will not apologize to anyone if they happen to find themselves on this list believers and nonbelievers alike have a certain conduct of decency that needs to be followed, especially the Seed of God. The Seed (Mat 13:37-39) He answered, "The one who sows the good seed is the Son of Man. The field is the world, and the good seed is the sons of the kingdom. The weeds are the sons of the evil one, and the enemy who sowed them is the devil. The harvest is the close of the age, and the reapers are angels. This is a great few verses and when you read these verses, as well as those that follow these you see a warning of what is to become of the sons of the evil one. In reading these verses, however, it is all too apparent this truth is being revealed as a warning to anyone that would be considered weeds, meaning all those who have not accept YaHshua as Savior, basically, to day, the majority of the world. We know this verse is not saying these people are literally "weeds", but "like" weeds that spring up and try to crowd out the good seed, the world population in general does just that, or tries to. It says the sower of these weeds is Satan, the sower, not the sperm donor just keeping it real. Again the sons of the evil one, Satan, are by their actions and spiritual appearance, as those in Heaven would see them, are found to be the wild seed of Satan, not as having been literally fathered by Satan, but sown by him, watered by him, influenced by him. Consider the following verses -- (1Jn 3:8-10) Whoever makes a practice of sinning is of the devil, for the devil has been sinning from the beginning. The reason the Son of God appeared was to destroy the works of the devil. No one born of God makes a practice of sinning, for God's seed abides in him, and he cannot keep on sinning because he has been born of God. By this it is evident who are the children of God, and who are the children of the devil: whoever does not practice righteousness is not of God, nor is the one who does not love his brother. Here again, to be a son of the devil all you have to do is act like it. If anyone continues in their sin, thinking nothing of it then they belong to Satan. Notice, it is the "practice" of sinning not the inbreeding, so there is a choice. So, those who chose to be liars, plotters, deceivers, like the Pharisees confronting YaHshua, then those who practice all of these things are like them. It would be interesting to note that some of these Pharisees may have been around when King Herod sent soldiers out to kill all the babies two years and under (Mat 2:3-4, 16) in an effort to destroy the promised Messiah and that would mean some of them may have been the very ones searching the Scriptures for the writings leading Herod to the birth place. Imagine that, here YaHshua is having a discussion with some of the men that may have helped Herod try and

destroy Him soon after His birth. Yes, you might say, but the verses do not mention Pharisees, only Priests and Scribes the Scribes were of the party of the Pharisees Acts 23:9 some Pharisees were Scribes. (John 8:21) So he said to them again, "I am going away, and you will seek me, and you will die in your sin. Where I am going, you cannot come." (John 8:22) So the Jews said, "Will he kill himself, since he says, 'Where I am going, you cannot come'?" (John 8:23-24) He said to them, "You are from below (the Earth); I am from above. You are of this world; I am not of this world. I told you that you would die in your sins, for unless you believe that I am He you will die in your sins." This applies to everyone, not just the Pharisees. They can change and some did, so it would seem that these men, of the seed of Satan can become of the seed of our Lord. Identifying the Weeds From the following verse we find that some of the brethren were once sinners of the world, not surprising, and this would mean we can all change -- (1Co 6:8-10) But you yourselves wrong and defraud--even your own brothers! Or do you not know that the unrighteous will not inherit the kingdom of God? Do not be deceived: neither the sexually immoral, nor idolaters, nor adulterers, nor men who practice homosexuality, nor thieves, nor the greedy, nor drunkards, nor revilers, nor swindlers will inherit the kingdom of God. (1Co 6:11) And such were some of you. But you were washed, you were sanctified, you were justified in the name of the Lord YaHshua the Christ and by the Spirit of our God. Our struggle is always a fight against sin, we slip and slide occasionally but never giving up, fighting against "sin", not only is it a physical struggle but mental as well, but of course you know that (Mat 5:27-28). Believing His Word that if we do such things willfully then we will not enter the Kingdom. The weeds, on the other hand, think nothing of this and say it is only human, or natural, they call 'sin' good, even educational, and, after all, everyone is doing it. Look at our current government, full of liars, cheats, thieves and we can see the weeds. A child of Satan, like some of us once were can change, accepting YaHshua as Savior miraculously becomes a child of the Living God, transformed from a weed to the good seed. People can move from the "seed" of Satan to the "seed" of God by choice or by a calling HalleluYah. Our perfection is found in YaHshua, our Savior, and we are looking forward to being "born" into Spirit, and then we will no longer be subject to sin for we will be like Him, fully -- 1 John 3:2 and Php 3:20-21 (1Jn 3:2) Beloved, we are God's children now, and what we will be has not yet appeared; but we know that when he appears we shall be like Him, because we shall see Him as he is.

(Php 3:20-21) For our conversation (citizenship) is in heaven; from whence also we look for the Saviour, the Lord YaHshua the Christ: Who shall change our vile body, that it may be fashioned like unto His glorious body, according to the working whereby He is able even to subdue all things unto Himself. KJV By His creative power He will be able to transform us from the flesh into eternal Spirit, making our union with Him and our Heavenly Father complete. Noah, Son of Cain? What about this business of Cain being the Seed of Satan and then Noah being the son of Cain? It seems there is a small number saying that Noah is a direct descendant of Cain and it is through Noah the seed of Cain was able to survive the Great Flood. We will take a look at this error. We will also look at the teaching that Cain is the progeny of Satan. I think we can find the answer to this in the Scriptures, well, I know we can. What we will see is that there were two named Noah, that s right, two Noah s. One was of the line of Cain, in fact his firstborn, and the other was born many years later in down the line of Seth. Seth was the son of Adam, born from Eve right after the death of Abel. After Cain murdered his brother Abel, God banished him to the land of Nod -- land of "vagrancy" (Strong s #5113) or as some have it, "land of fugitives". Seth fathered Enos then Enos fathered Cainan, then Cainan fathered Mahalaleel, then Mahalaleel fathered Jared, and Jared fathered Enoch. Enoch is another in the line of Seth finding favor with YaHWeh over and above others and it is Enoch who fathered Methuselah, then Methuselah fathered Lamech, and it is Lamech who fathered Noah. These genealogical tracks can be found in Genesis Chapters 4 and 5. The Line of Cain does include names similar and even identical to the righteous line of Seth, Abel's replacement. The error in this comes from Genesis 4:17, seeing this other Noah, a Noah that just happens to be Cain's first born this should throw up some red flags when we hear it suggested this is the Noah surviving the Great Flood. The first problem is that this Noah is born too soon to be the Noah of the Flood, and would have been older than the oldest of the Patriarchs, Methuselah. This Noah would have been much, much older than the Noah from the line of Seth. Noah was only 500 years old when the time came to build the Ark and when the flood came and Noah and his family entered the Ark Noah was 600 years old (Gen 5:32; 6:10-14; 7:11), so Cain s first born, also named Noah, could not have been the Noah of the Flood, he would have been well over a 1,000 years old. But, we do not need this simple mathematical computation because we have the lineage of Cain and Seth. Remember, Cain and Seth were also brothers and shared the same family. It was not uncommon, then or now, to name children after the same aunts and uncles, fathers and grandfather or people of renown. Certainly everyone was related and must have had common knowledge of one another and their exploits. This is my reasoning anyway, in explaining why the descendants of the two brothers are so nearly the same in the record of names.

(Gen 4:25) And Adam knew his wife again, and she bore a son and called his name Seth, for she said, "God has appointed for me another offspring instead of Abel, for Cain killed him." (Gen 5:3) When Adam had lived 130 years, he fathered a son in his own likeness, after his image, and named him Seth. In these verses we see Seth is born and it is from this line the Noah of the flood is born. Apparently Seth had a remarkable likeness to his father, Adam a spitting image, as the saying goes. Why this is important I do not know but it suggests that neither Abel nor Cain looked so much like their father Adam as did Seth, even though Abel and Cain were twins, possibly, it is anybody s guess if they looked like each other. Let s dispel this notion that some teach concerning Satan being the father of Cain. (Gen 4:1) Now Adam knew (had sex with) Eve his wife, and she conceived and bore Cain, saying, "I have gotten a man with the help of the LORD." And again, she bore his brother Abel. Now Abel was a keeper of sheep, and Cain a worker of the ground. The proximity of these two births were so close as to suggest they were twins, but they don t have to be twin. The wording is clear, Adam had sex with his wife, Eve, and she conceived a son, first Cain and then Abel, later, after Abel s death, Seth was born. Adam fathered all three so maybe this remark about Seth's appearance, physically, being so much like Adam, perhaps, points to a "starting over". You also see this same thing in the line of Seth -- Enos fathers Cainan, another "Cain", and we know this is not the Cain that killed Abel, couldn't be. (Gen 5:28-29) And Lamech lived an hundred eighty and two years, and begat a son: And he called his name Noah, saying, This same shall comfort us concerning our work and toil of our hands, because of the ground which the LORD (YaHWeH) has cursed. We can see that the Noah of the Great Flood is from the line of Seth, not the lineage of Cain. Noah is born and is tagged as the Noah that survives the Flood in the verses that follow. If you line up the lineages from both sides you will see many names very similar even the same. This practice of claiming authority by name is not unusual, but is confusing to many, myself included. It is this practice of opposing people naming their children by similar names, marking their descendants with names leading back to a claim concerning the inheritance of land or fortunes both the Seth line and the Cain line were claiming the same origin and the same inheritance. It is this naming of survivors in a trail back to origins that the archeologist has such a tough time when building time lines of the ancients through the records of linage. A good example is found in the records of the Pharaohs, naming themselves after each other, claiming by name, rights to the throne or other famous associations and victories. They had a habit of ignoring, even hiding, defeats, or names of disgrace some descendants among the royals changing their birth names to other rulers of renown in attempt to claim the heroism of others and to mark themselves as legitimate and rightful possessors of the throne. Cain's line was claiming the same lineage as the line of Seth by tracing their sons back to Adam proving their legitimate origin.

Why would this be so important, this proving of their beginnings? For one, and this is my opinion only, there were other people on earth besides the children from Adam and Eve. (Gen 4:16) Then Cain went away from the presence of the LORD and settled in the land of Nod, east of Eden. The land of Nod, in my opinion, was outside of the mountainous area of the Garden the territory where Adam and Eve lived. This is where Cain went only after he had received some kind of marking to protect him from being killed by others that were living outside of the Eden area. I think this marking convinced the people living in the outer world, or land of Nod, that Cain was one of the gods, a literal child of god one of the gods. An argument would naturally ensue as the populations on both sides grew and began to mingle and competed for the title of legal heirs of the gods and goddesses (children of Adam and Eve) among the greater populations of the people in the land of Nod, which would have been the rest of the world, outside of the Garden of Eden area. This is my speculations, of course, but seems to answer some questions, in a human way, not some visitations by UFO beings or Fallen Angels corrupting men. If anything it would make more sense that the sons and daughters of Adam and Eve, spreading out from their point of origin would be messing with the minds of those in the rest of the world. Genesis chapter 1 gives one creation and Genesis chapter 2 seems to give another. On the one hand the Gods (Elohim) create men in their own image, in Genesis chapter 2 there is another creation of a single man and woman in the image of YaHWeH, a singular God and only in a specific area, called the Garden of Eden. This would also explain the account given in Genesis chapter 6 concerning the sons of God marrying the daughters of common men, the sons of God being the sons of Adam and the common men from the earlier creation living in the land of Nod, or the rest of the world. It would only make sense, also, that the two branches of Adam s line would compete for supremacy. My speculations to be sure but, still? YaHWeH put an end to this struggle for godly supremacy by picking Noah of the line of Seth to start over. Apparently the line of Cain had become completely corrupted. Remember, the world had become so evil, in fact they were super religious, worshiping everything but their Creator, and they had become irredeemably, they had crossed the line, so to speak. It had become a case that even if someone from the dead rose up and tried to get them to repent they would not. Hum, sounds familiar? "...for as the days of Noah..." Mt 24:38 (Gen 5:32) And Noah was five hundred years old: and Noah begat Shem, Ham, and Japheth. And there you are, this Noah is not the descendant of Cain, but of Seth, this Noah was far too young to be Cain s first born. Cain s line of descendants were given many years to repent of their heritage but apparently continued their violent path and rebellion, polluting the whole earth with only Noah left to call on the Creator of all, YaHWeH. It would seem from all of this that the line of Cain ended in the Flood, that is if none of the wives of the three sons of Noah were not of the line of Cain -- we are not told and it is this silence that would suggest to me that they were not, otherwise it would have been mention. So, from what we have seen here, according to the word, Cain did not survive, nor did his descendants, the flood. This then, also, trashes the

idea that the Pharisees confronting YaHshua were descendants of Cain, whom some teach was a begotten child of Satan, and there by making them actual children of Satan. Nope, can't be, as we have just seen, by the Scriptures, Noah and his three sons came through the flood, and this Noah is in the direct line of Seth and not Cain. I know of a couple of very intelligent preachers, Dr Murry, and Chuck Missler, both claimed by their followers to be genius and they both teach this false premise that Satan spawned Cain, and we have Cain-ites living among us. Cain was twin brother to Abel not the product of some illicit union between the spirit Satan. Also this false teaching leads to the obvious conclusion that sex between a wife and husband is sin -- how? Because if it is Satan that introduced sex to Adam and Eve and this is the "forbidden fruit" then sex would be a sin. Now we know why the Catholic church used to teach this very thing, that sex is sin except for making babies, and this teaching screw up so many catholic girls, burdening them with guilt with in fact our Creator created Sex to be an enjoyable thing and we are clearly told in the New Testament that the "marriage bed remains undefiled" (Heb 13:4) kind of like -- "what happens in your bed stays in your bed". Of course humans misuse this pleasure, like everything else and so many think nothing of changing beds, bouncing from one sexual escapade to another, even to defiling their own marriage bed.
