At its center is a continuum of works in different mediums that deal with food, whether as a personal or family matter, in Heiman s works, or a social-political one, in Marcus s. 19:00-19:30 Exhibition Opening (Dwek Gallery) 19:30-20:30 Food and Culinary Arts in Video Art. Artists Meirav Heiman and Shahar Marcus will talk about their art and present new works on the subject. (De Bouton Auditorium) 20:00-22:30 Night Tour in the Footsteps of S.Y. Agnon This night-time journey through S.Y. Agnon s Jerusalem will be interwoven with stories and tastings. We will begin with Jerusalem soup at the historical Tmol Shilshom café, wander the alleys, sweeten our steps with all sorts of delicacies on our way through the French Quarter, the Russian Compound, and Notre Dame of Jerusalem, where we will drink wine and partake of a selection of cheeses. We will end the tour against the background of the observation points of the Valley of Hinnom and Mishkenot Sha ananim. Guide: Shuki Haidu, Bitemojo

2 Wednesday, May 17 17:00-18:00 Nutrition and Sensibility 17:00-17:15 A Tea Party with Vegan Desserts 17:15-18:00 Riki Blich will talk with Dror Burstein, Agi Mishol, and Asaf Schurr about the ways in which veganism influences literary writing. The authors will share recipes with the audience and discuss characters and vegan dilemmas in the history of literature and culture. (Djanogly Hall) *All the proceeds from the ticket sales will be donated to save the monkeys of the Mazor Farm. 18:30-20:00 Caution, Poison! 18:30-19:30 Dangerous, tempting, magical, and lethal, poison envelops the quagmire of literature like a greenish cloud. You have been warned! And, alternatively, welcome! Enter at your own risk. Noa Menhaim will talk with Sarah Blau, Dory Manor, and Dror Mishani about the theme of poison in literature, from fairy tales to detective stories, from Snow White to Madame Bovary, from Hamlet to The Princess Bride. Incantations will be conducted by Efrat Gosh, accompanied by the guitarist Adam Ben Amitai. Sarah Blau will join in with a surprising solo. Five participants, writers and artists, will sing the praises of Eros, the god of love, while emptying goblets of wine. With Shai Avivi, Shimon Adaf, Gilad Kahana, Rachel Gottesman, and Nana Shrier, and under the art direction of Roy Brand. After hearing the story, each child will build a house and decorate it with a variety of tasty and sweet additions. An extraordinary evening on the poetics of food and recipes as literary and musical texts. At this special tribute led by Masha Zur Glozman, Sivan Beskin, Henry David, Evgenia Dodina, Arkadi Duchin, Alona Kimhi, and Alex Rif will meet to discuss the book and share with the audience stories of drunkenness and journeys, and, most importantly, raise a glass. What is the connection between sacrifices to Moloch and Irish feasts? We will learn about all this and more in a tour guided by the writer and guide Galit Dahan Carlibach. The tour will include St. Andrew s Church, the Montefiore Windmill, Mishkenot Sha ananim, and a view of the Valley Hinnom, and will address the combination of literature and culinary arts. 10:30-11:30 Writing Jam: Life and What I Ate This is a multi-participant writing workshop that was designed by Sadnaot Habait especially for this festival. They combine humor and social criticism on conventions such as family, political leadership, sports, and the concept of the orchard in Eretz-Israeli identity. The mix of the domestic and the intimate with the social and the political allows the artists to examine these conventions, to recreate them, and even to challenge them.
