3 Strengthening Israel & Her People through Lifesaving Projects In 2017 our donors helped a total of 1,598,203 people in need That assistance fighting poverty, providing security, and facilitating aliyah (immigration to Israel) was given through The Fellowship s hundreds of lifesaving projects in Israel and around the world. I was surprised by your blessed initiative in which you search out those who are despondent. I was impressed and so happy to see how you are a living example of wonderful people who take care of the weaker sectors of society. This really saved me! I was proud when I came to basic training with new equipment like everyone else. In the third week of basic training, my commander noticed that I wasn t taking a shower and was ashamed because I had no toiletries. I secretly received a box of shampoo, hygienic products, socks, t-shirts, and more provided by The Fellowship. You are my family who cares about me. Keep doing holy work for soldiers! Thanks to the free transportation and hot meals, we all felt cared for and were able to focus on our studies. Our parents did not worry about us. The Fellowship became for me a model of kindness, justice, and warmth to all the children. Thanks to The Fellowship, we were protected, we were safe, and we always felt at home.
