5 AUSTINSTREET.ORG AUSTIN STREET CENTER For over 30 years, Austin Street Center has specialized in caring for the most vulnerable homeless men and women in Dallas. Beyond meeting basic needs, Austin Street is committed to individualized care for each person who comes for help. They serve a hot dinner to an average of 350 people per night. A recent tally from Metro Dallas Homeless Alliance showed there was a 24 percent increase in the homeless population across Dallas over the past year. Emergency shelters are full, and a luxury building boom is limiting affordable housing development. All of these factors mean that Austin Street Center needs help now more than ever to provide meals for the vulnerable homeless of our city. $2 $5 Lunch Provide the gift of lunch to a guest at Austin Street Center. Hot Dinner Provide the gift of dinner to a guest at Austin Street Center.

6 BONTONFARMS.ORG BONTON FARMS Bonton Farms is a ministry in South Dallas that exists to restore urban communities for the glory of God. The Bonton community is a food desert by USDA standards (the nearest grocery store is roughly 4 miles away) with the highest rate of diabetes and cardiovascular disease in the city and county of Dallas. Bonton Farms exists to make local, organic produce available in hopes to restore health to this community. You have the opportunity to make an impact for a community in need by empowering them to stand up against hunger, and providing a healthy lifestyle for generations to come. $2 $15 Garden Seedlings The provision of a seedling will help in growing healthy food. Baby Chick Provide chicks that are an integral source of income and nutrition at Bonton.

7 HPPRES.ORG/CUBA CUBA Highland Park Pres has been in a Sister-Church Partnership with two Cuban congregations since The ministry has grown to partner with a third church and numerous new church plants. HP Pres has taken more than 100 church members to Cuba. These volunteers have helped to plant more than 25 house churches and in doing so, have supported 25 missionaries, aided in the building of three churches and have provided assistance to a local seminary. Our goal in partnership is to come alongside the Cuban church and help them with their vision in reaching Cuba for Christ by meeting the spiritual and material needs of the Cuban church as God leads and provides. $10 $30 Bible Provide a Bible to an individual seeking to know God. Church Planting Provide the monthly funding for a church planter.

For the Nations provides educational and acculturation services that help meet the practical needs of refugees while also sharing with them the gospel of Jesus Christ. Over the last several years For the Nations has developed high quality, effective educational programs and have shared the Good News of Christ with many DFW-area refugees. Their vision is to bring these proven programs to more of the area s large refugee population. $10 $15 School Supplies Provide school supplies for children attending after school tutoring. 9 HPPRES.ORG/HAITI HAITI OUTREACH MINISTRIES Haiti is the poorest country in the Western Hemisphere with 80 percent of the population living on less than a $1 a day. Haiti Outreach Ministries (HOM) mission is to transform lives by introducing the people of Haiti to Jesus Christ. By demonstrating God s love in tangible ways and meeting critical human needs, it opens the door for new relationships and heartfelt conversations about faith. The work of HOM is done at three mission sites. Each site is anchored with the sound foundation of a church whose congregants worship regularly. Each Sunday over 4,000 people gather together to worship the Lord. Around each church, resources like schools and medical facilities meet the basic needs of the people. $2 Hot Lunch Provide the gift of lunch to a student. $25 Classroom Supplies Provide educational and creative supplies for a classroom.

10 THEOUTREACHFOUNDATION.ORG THE OUTREACH FOUNDATION The news coverage of the largely-middle Eastern refugee crisis unfolding in Europe has brought shocking images, inescapably, into our homes, and many want to help. The unsettling reality of this situation is that most of these refugees have not made it out of the Middle East and have become the humanitarian burden of nearby countries. There are 3.5 million internally displaced persons (IDPs) in Iraq and 7.6 million IDPs in Syria. In addition, 4.2 million Syrians and 400,000 Iraqis are refugees. The Outreach Foundation is providing resources for our church partners in Syria, Lebanon, Iraq and Jordan to care for neighbors Christian, Muslim and Yazidis who have had to flee to a safer area in their own country or find a haven across a nearby border. $5 Hot Meal Provide a meal for a Syrian refugee. $10 School Supplies Provide school supplies for a Syrian refugee child.

Readers 2 Leader s mission is to develop and grow the reading skills of underserved Dallas children ages 3 12 so they can succeed in school and graduate prepared to live productive lives. They serve students through Team Read In-School, Team Read After-School, and Team Read Summer Camp. Tutoring Provide a student with one week of tutorting to help them develop their reading skills.

12 RODALLAS.ORG RECONCILIATION OUTREACH Reconciliation Outreach has a one year residential program for men and women who have life controlling problems such as addiction, homelessness, criminal history, abuse, and behavioral dysfunctions. The programs provide intensive rehabilitation within a supportive therapeutic faith-based environment and allows each resident time to overcome their problems as they begin a new life. The objective is to train residents to develop a biblical worldview so they can be reconciled in their relationships with God and others. Discipleship classes, computer classes, opportunities to gain a GED, and accountable community are part of the program in order to instill our residents with the Word of God, give them practical ways to achieve new goals. $5 Shaving Kit Provide a shaving kit for a resident. $20 Prayer Journal Provide a leather prayer journal to a new disciple.

13 SAMARITANSPURSE.ORG SAMARITAN S PURSE The story of the Good Samaritan (Luke 10:30 37) gives a clear picture of God s desire for us to help those in need wherever we find them. After describing how the Samaritan rescued a hurting man whom others had passed by, Jesus told his hearers, Go and do likewise. For over 40 years, Samaritan s Purse has done its utmost to follow Christ s command by coming to the aid of the world s poor, sick, and suffering. They reach hurting people in countries around the world with food, medicine, and other assistance in the name of Jesus Christ. Samaritans Purse continues to bring tons of relief supplies every few days to Puerto Rico. Distributions of heavy-duty shelter plastic, blankets, hygiene kits, and other emergency supplies are benefiting thousands of families. They are also providing medical care to those affected by the hurricane. $15 $50 Family Survival Kit Provide a family in Puerto Rico with a Family Survival Kit. 14 WORLDVISION.ORG WORLD VISION World Vision is dedicated to working with children, families, and communities worldwide by tackling the issues and causes of poverty and injustice, and providing emergency assistance to children and families affected by natural disasters and civil conflict. Young girls across the globe risk their lives every day just walking to school, and many drop out because of the dangers they face. World Vision provides these girls bicycles, which can help open the door to a new future and provide safe transportation. World Vision also presents communities with the life-changing gift of 16 healthy farm animals a pig, a goat, four ducks, and 10 chickens. Not only does this gift provide ample nutrition for a family, but as the animals multiply, the surplus can be sold for extra income. $125 $500 Bicycle Provide a bicycle to a girl so she can safely reach school. Farm Animals Provide nutrition for a community with a gift of 16 farm animals.
