2 In the name of Allah (s.w.t) I invite you all bondsmen of Allah and my own self towards divine Taqwa and emphasize to live and establish your lives in accordance with Taqwa. Allah (s.w.t) granted life to human being and in order to make this life reach its purpose guidance has been established and foundation has been placed on Taqwa. Taqwa is the divine planning for the way of living for Human being. The domain of Taqwa is spread in all dimensions of life of man and not confined or limited to human self (Nafs) that too in context of ethics the way scholars have done. Taqwa is there for man s self, environment, society, relationship, business, relationship and every field of man. The way Taqwa should be a faculty of human self it should also become a faculty in human society. The noble Quran in Surah Tauba has expressed with vastness under a certain specific incident. In order to separate life based on Taqwa and without Taqwa the Quran has presented an incident which is the establishment of Masjid e Zaraar. In the vicinity of Medina certain tribes and individuals from those tribes made a mosque and when the mosque was about to be started they approached the Holy Prophet (s.a.w.s) to do the inauguration of this mosque. As it was the time of battle and Holy Prophet (s.a.w.s) was heading towards Tabuk hence he said let me return and then we will see. When the Holy Prophet (s.a.w.s) returned the divine revelation came that this mosque is not beneficial instead it is harmful and destructive. The host of this mosque are people who do not possess any Taqwa and this mosque s foundation is not based on Taqwa but on harm which Quran mentions in verse 107 of Surah Tauba. و ال ذ ين ا ت ذ وا م س ج د ا ض ر ار ا و ك ف ر ا و ت ف ر يق ا ب ي ال م ؤ م ن ي و إ ر ص اد ا ل م ن ح ار ب ا لل و ر ل م ن ل ل و ل ل ف ن ف ن إ أ ر د ن إ ل ا ل س ن و ا لل ي ش ه د إ ن ه م ل ك اذ ب }107{ And those who built a masjid to cause harm and for unbelief and to cause disunion among the believers and an ambush to him who made war against Allah and His Messenger before; and they will certainly swear: We did not desire aught but good; and Allah bears witness that they are most surely liars. Though they have constructed mosque but their intention is evil behind this and there are four evil purposes behind making of this mosque which Quran mentions in this verse under four titles. One was for Zaraar (to cause harm), second was to strengthen the belief of Kufr and Shirk, third was to create discord amongst believers and fourth was to give shelter to the enemies of Allah, religion and Holy Prophet (s.a.w.s). This mosque has been made for these four purposes that too with the intention that these objectives would remain concealed under the cover of mosques. People would get deceived by the outward of this mosque, they will make this mosque lively, and they will participate in various gatherings and in congregational prayers. This way under the cover and title of mosque the four underground objectives of Zaraar, Kufr, Tafarqa and shelter for enemies will get fulfilled. Then the Quran says that they do not accept these objectives because they are not fools that when in Muslim society they make a religious center with evil objectives they cannot express it openly that we have done it for these purposes. Instead they express in front of people that our intentions are pure and for the sake of comfort of people, for the sake of Allah we have done this. They swear that in making 1

3 of this mosque other than goodness there is no other intention. Then Allah says that Allah bears witness that they are liars. The hypocrites are liars and outwardly they have established a religious center but the intentions are evil. This one reference, example which got constructed was destroyed and people were made aware that whatever was being made in the name of mosque was harmful for religion. If harmful centers keep on running and people close their eyes, or remain silent it gives them opportunity to progress or with simplicity they even try to support such mosques practically then with such vision of believers they also become party to Masjid-e-Zaraar. The Quran informed the believers immediately at the right time, when the mosque was made and it was about to become operative; then right at that instance the awareness was given by revelation. If this revelation would not have come the hypocrites would have been successful and the hypocrites would have promoted and made this center more flourishing. They would have shown more activities in this mosque and might be today this mosque would have been one of the biggest historic mosques and pilgrims would have gone there for pilgrimage. This would have happened if the revelations would not have come. If the divine revelation would not have come then believers would have kept few visions about it. Some would have rejected it. Some believers would have accepted it because they accept anything sacred that is made like the calf of Samri which is another example of misguided acts of believers presented by Quran. Samri made a calf; it is mentioned that for Bani Israel the cow had a sanctity like the Hindus. Hence Samri selected the calf because it was in culture of Bani Israel that cow had a preference over other animals and such thoughts were present in the minds of this community. This inspired Samri to build a calf. Like if stones or amulets are sacred for a community then Samri will make something out of this. The past situation of a community prepares the grounds for people like Samri who took advantage of this. When Allah ordered Bani Israel to slaughter cow they started to make excuses as it was tough for them to sacrifice cow. But Allah insisted to slaughter cow only and they were not prepared to do it. Since the command was becoming tougher then undesirably they had to do this. Samri made a calf and the community of Bani Israel accepted it. The hypocrites of Medina were much smarter than Samri because making a calf accepted as a God needs the presence of high degree of foolishness amongst people. When ignorance, foolishness is high then calves can be made and the more lowliness in a community then more such abased acts can be done. The hypocrites made a mosque and not a calf because the title of a mosque itself is sacred hence acceptability by believers is easy. The Holy Prophet (s.a.w.s) when he entered Medina he made a mosque of Quba and then when he went inside Medina he made Masjid a Nabawi. A Masjid can be easily accepted by believers and in fact anything that is under the title of religion believers get deceived easily. The history after this is revealing this fact that under religious title more dangerous than Masjid-e-Zaraar, mosques, centers, institutes, organizations, cultures are present amongst Muslims which people have accepted also and supporting them as well just because the title is religion. Just like in Battle of Siffeen the Quran was raised on spears to deceive Muslims. It is happening now as well that sacred titles are selected, people are gathered under them to misguide people. Sometimes they do in the name of Quran, Wilayat, companions, wives of Prophet are all sanctitous titles and when such titles are used simple, foolish believers can be easily deceived. This act is taking place in every street and the sense which Quran is imparting from this verse has not been taken by the believers because they don t read the Quran with this perception that Quran is a book of guidance that imparts sense. Believers recite Quran for Thawaab, Istikhara and other things but not as a source of sense, recognition, guidance, revelations, and inspirations and in fact they do not even turn towards the Quran for these real acquisition. If you see the same verse related to Masjid-e-Zaraar the Qaari s have recited in different tunes but the world is full of Masjid-e-Zaraar and the actual Masjid of Taqwa 2

4 are distinct. For the mosque of Taqwa Quran says that you should visit such mosques and practice your worships in such mosques. Certain believers argue that both are mosques and house of Allah so what is the difference between the two. This is the best mentality of people for hypocrites and this is a big support for the objectives of hypocrites. Such people who consider both types of mosques as same; one time he visits one mosque, next time the other are the best targets for hypocrites. This kind of thinking supports the hypocrites to fulfill the goals. We can see what dangerous step was taken in this young Islamic society that came into existence since few years only. They made a mosque to cause harm to Islam and Muslims. Then they wanted to spread Kufr and Shirk from this mosque. The Kufr, Shirk to be spread from mosques are not the type of open idol worshipping Kufr but instead this is hidden Kufr and Shirk. The Kufr that spreads from mosques is different from that what spreads from temple and churches which is open Kufr but the one that spreads from mosques is open Kufr with the outward title of belief. The way people did Kufr for Prophet Isa and they went to the extent of terming him as son of Allah out of belief and this was done from Churches. The Kufr that is spread from mosques, pulpits has to harmonize with the center from where it spreads. They made this mosque for spreading Kufr and Shirk. Then they had the purpose of creating discord amongst believers and to give shelter to enemies of Islam and Religion. Now they want to make this operative to accomplish their goals. At this instance Allah sent revelations and made people aware about their intentions. Since at that time the Holy Prophet (s.a.w.s) was present and he was receiving the revelations and accepting it. The specialties of Holy Prophet (s.a.w.s) which Quran has expressed due to which he received success. Quran has mentioned the secret behind the success of Holy Prophet (s.a.w.s) as to how they got a community immersed in darkness out from it into enlightenment. How the Holy Prophet (s.a.w.s) got this success? That secret is present in the last verses of Surah Baqarah which I have mentioned before also and should be known to everyone and specifically for students and scholars who desire to keep and continue on the path of Holy Prophet (s.a.w.s). The last but one verse of Surah Baqarah says: آم ن الر ل ب ا أ ن ز ل إ ل ل م ن ر ب و ال م ؤ م ن ل ك آم ن ب لل و م ل ئ ك ت و ك ت و ر ن ل ن ف ر ق ب ي أ ح د م ن ر ن ل }285{ و ل ال ا س ع ن ا و أ ط ع ن ا غ ف ر ان ك ر ب ن ا و إ ل ل ك ال م ص ي The messenger believes in what has been revealed to him from his Lord, and (so do) the believers; they all believe in Allah and His angels and His books and His messengers; we make no difference between any of His messengers; and they say: We hear and obey, our Lord! Thy forgiveness (do we crave), and to Thee is the eventual course This was the secret by which the Holy Prophet (s.a.w.s) changed the state of that society and developed an Ummah from the same misguided beings. The verse says that the Messenger of Allah has faith on everything that is being revealed by Allah. This is the deficiency which we have today. Knowledge is present in abundance today. As per Bhuleshah, they read books to the extent that no book was left unread but they left reading the secret. This is the shortfall today that is the group which is reading the books of Religion like books on belief, Fiqh, ethics, history etc., but how much faith we have on what we have read. We have learnt the lesson on Imamat but how much faith we have on Imamat. Faith gets manifested with the action of man. They study religion for twenty, thirty years and then finally they select a Qiblah (direction which they select) is non-religious, they make non-religious organization, parties and ways. They select non-religious leaders, political systems and ways of living. This is what happened when man reads the footnotes but not the actual content. When a person does 3

5 not study the secrets of religion the problems don t get solved. The verse says that everything which has been revealed by Allah the Messenger has Faith on it, not just knowledge. Martyr Muttahhari says that knowledge is light but the activator, movement is created by Faith. Knowledge is like light and a person can still sit stagnant under light. For movement you need a separate engine which inspires and makes man rise. Light only presents the ways but not makes someone move. It is faith that produces movement. This is the actual secret of all the privileges and success of Holy Prophet (s.a.w.s). The Prophet had faith on this revelation also that this is Masjid-e-Zaraar, which is a mosque of Zaraar, Kufr, Tafarqa and meant for giving refuge to enemies. The Holy Prophet (s.a.w.s) did not develop any doubt about what was revealed that may be some misunderstanding has happened. The people who made the mosque seem to be good and they are swearing as well. But the Holy Prophet (s.a.w.s) did not doubt the revelation. This revelation is present even today as at is and it is not about a movie hall, club or any other place of corruption. This revelation came to tell us that certain mosques have harm for believers, Kufr, Tafarqa for believers. For mosques this is being said because for places of corruption Quran says they are clearly seen as evil. Quran says that right path and deviated path are separated, there is no mixing in them. The paths are clearly seen and hence revelations will not come for evil, deviated path, you will be guided there where there is confusion still present. Even though these believers of Masjid-e-Zaraar visit the places of corruption as well, they go to clubs, dances, place of indecencies and then return back considering themselves as pure. It is like someone jumps into filthy water and then feels that good fragrance is coming out of me. They jump into every evil place and then think that we are very pure beings. The message which Quran is giving is not for temples of idols but for a mosque. There are certain things that are placed in mosques and you should keep your eyes open. But we have closed our eyes on such things. Today in every city, town, street such centers are established and simple believers have been deceived by their titles and are unaware about the evil intentions behind them. They justify that both are religious groups. You can see in your country and across the world as to what religious groups are doing. If the believers would not have been deceived by them and not close their eyes then today these centers and groups would not be present. One behavior of believers despite of the verse of Masjid-e-Zaraar, and being aware also they cooperate with these centers and groups; visit them frequently as well. This is one type of group of believers. One other group is only after good deeds and participate in everything that is being made as good. But they do not have sense on deciding what to do. If a person has passion to do good, but not having the sense then from his hands destructive take place in the name of goodness. We need this sense as to where we should go and do goodness. Here also their simplicity becomes the basis that they select the field of goodness without sense. Religion is first telling us in which areas and fields you have to do goodness and where you have to do goodness. If goodness is not done at the right time then this won t be counted as goodness. This act which does not have sense with it will have no use in this world and hereafter. First find the path and right direction, as to which act I should participate in and not to jump in anything which is seen by us as goodness. What is today wasted in the name of goodness is not done in the name of evil. There are people who are wasting so much money in the name of goodness. Today is the day of Friday and you can check where people have done goodness. There are some people who do goodness on Friday; they do charity and they look around to see some good act going on and participate in it which are not with sense. Few days back in newspaper this figure came that in Pakistan more than 4 billion rupees are spent in charity and good acts. If such a big amount is spent in the name of goodness then Pakistan should be the best nation in the world when people desire this much goodness. Why we are not able to see the effects of goodness, and everything should have been good here, that is good governance, education, people, children but 4

6 we are astonished that nothing is there. When you expose this 4 billion amount spent in name of goodness you will see majority of it is spent on centers and acts of Zaraar. It is spent on places which spread Kufr, Shirk and in those programs, activities and places from where Tafarqa is spread. These budgets are used to strengthen the places of refuge of enemies. Hence the result that comes out of spending in the name of goodness is evil; the shortcoming lies in sense. The passion for doing goodness is worth appreciating and cannot be criticized but the sense that is required to do goodness is not present. You should know where to spend? Either in centers, groups of Zaraar considering them as good? A big amount is spend this way. Religion says first find the Sabeel, Siraat and it is said about Siraat that it cannot be discovered without sense. It is there in tradition that Siraat is thinner than hair (Sharr). Sense (Sha oor) also comes from the same family of word as hair. Sha oor thus means that level of understanding which can recognize a path which is thinner than hair. Sha oor means very precise and sharp understanding. For people who want to do goodness should possess such sense. They call Zaraar speakers, cooperate with Zaraar centers and consider these to be assets for hereafter. Quran says these are centers of destruction and everyone who cooperates with them is destroying his hereafter. A Masjid-e-Zaraar is being made in the vicinity and a believer contributes to it. This believer is a simpleton who lacks deep insight and sense. When the hosts of Masjid-e-Zaraar would be gathered on the day of judgement this simple minded believer will also be called with them that your lack of sense and contribution is also part of it. This Masjid-e-Zaraar is a place of refuge for enemies made by hypocrites and this simpleton believer contributes to this shelter made for enemies of Islam. One group is totally unaware, another is one who likes to do goodness but without sense out of passion give damage to Islam. These issues are such that if a person is not having sense then it is very difficult to identity it. Quran is the source of sense (Sha oor); the Holy Prophet (s.a.w.s) and Ahlulbayt (a.s) are the sources of sense. The inheritors of Prophets that is the Ulama and Fuqaha who possess Taqwa are sources of sense. The Masjid-e-Zaraar was made by hypocrites who are very clever as they do not allow anyone to know or understand the hidden objectives. Hypocrite makes such an outward appearance in front of everyone that he is most sincere and dedicated person but from inside he is the most harmful. In this situation where hypocrisy is active behind that too under several layers it is not easy to understand these evil objectives. If this revelation would not have come then who would know that this Masjid-e-Zaraar is being made. As such there were only two mosques there; people would be and were happy that a new mosque is coming. The only way to know this is to be associated with the source of sense. The Holy Prophet (s.a.w.s) had faith on the revelations that whatever comes from here is correct. It is not possible that everyone has sense but then we should be associated with the sources of sense that is the Quran, Prophet and Imams. Today those Fuqaha who have taken the sense from Quran, Prophet, Imams (a.s) are the sources for this generation to take sense from them. This is because these social matters need awareness, analysis and it is not within the capability of everyone to analyze social affairs, to go deep down into social matters and discover the hidden facts. Every person with insight and sense also it is not necessary that he is aware about deeply hidden elements so that he becomes acquainted with the intention of someone as well. It is not possible. The way the Ummah is acquainted with the Holy Prophet (s.a.w.s) and Holy Prophet (s.a.w.s) is linked to the divine revelation. The Holy Prophet (s.a.w.s) found out from revelation and people found out from Prophet. The Prophet had faith on revelation and also the people had faith on Prophet as well as faith. There are certain persons who are not connected with any source of sense and hence unintentionally become partner into Zaraar acts. They donate everywhere and wants to be part of every good act. They want to have at least one brick from them in every mosque. There are certain things which are told to believers for the sake of getting oriented 5

7 and attraction. It is said in tradition that you should serve Iftar in Ramadan even if it is to the extent of one date. Big rich wealthy persons do this, they serve dates to their workers. They serve one date and want to loot spirituality. The poor person was fasting and this rich man now by serving one date wants to acquire all Thawaab. This tradition was for the sake of attraction. When the Prophet expressed the importance and virtues in serving Iftar, the people said we are all poor and hence we will remain deprived of this virtuous act. Then the Prophet said whatever is your ability you serve to that extent. Those who are earning big money every day should serve Iftar in an elegant manner and not that just serve few cheap dates. That too first he argues with the date hawker for 1 rupee. That hawker is a poor person and you are rich person so why you are negotiating with him. If a poor person negotiates it is acceptable but not from a rich person. You should do as per your worth. If Allah has given you millions then spend millions, if billions then spend billions, if thousand then spend in thousands. و م ا ر ز ل ن اه م ي ن ف ق whatever we have given you spend from that. This is the first verse of Surah Baqarah. You know what Allah has given you and you should spend from it. Not that you donate one brick for the mosque. Allah says you should become host of making mosque and has been said that those who lay foundation of a mosque is a Muttaqee. On one hand Quran is arousing too make mosque but on the other hand it is also preventing from donating even a single brick to Masjid-e- Zaraar. If you donate to a Zaraar mosque or to a group, party that is causing harm, discord then you are also part of them. There are people who donate to terrorists they are also part with them and killers. You should acquire insight which comes from the source of senses. It is essential to be associated with the source of senses else such situations will come when man will not be able to recognize the truth. Why the centers of Zaraar are in abundance? This is because the four specialties which Quran has mentioned about Zaraar are not seen by us. These centers who are causing harm, discord, Kufr are all present on every street. You can see mosques that are giving shelter to enemies and such people who cause discord. Anyone who supports them is part of them and is an act of oppression he is doing. Is there anyone who can say in Pakistan there is no misguidance, discord, harm being spread from any centers in any city of Pakistan? Is there anyone who can say that there is not a single mosque, center in Pakistan which is not supporting or giving shelter to enemies of religion? There are big banners, posters put up that in such a mosque this personality will deliver a speech today. Can you not see that terrorists, those who cause seditions are invited to mosques? Everyone can see these but under pretext they go and cooperate with them. It is necessary for a community, the way Allah has made the body of man and there is a center of sense which is the mind made by Allah. Every human being takes commands of sense from mind. The stomach, lust also gives commands but do not listen to them instead listen to intellect which is having sense. It is there in tradition that the status of Imam in Ummah is that of a mind. Imam is the source of sense in Ummah. If you think that if the Supreme Leader would not have mentioned as to what MI6 the British agency is doing in the world, then who was aware. There are still many believers with good intentions are watching MI6 channels, listening to their speakers etc. If the source of sense like the Leader when he says on the basis of sense acquired from Quran that MI6 has created Shia channels then you should bring faith on him. When sense comes to you from Allah through some means, then accept it and distance from that thing. We should submit and bring faith on the source of faith and accept that these centers are harmful for us. When these Zaraar orators stand on the pulpit then they present as if they are most painful person for the community. You should not become insane and get deceived because these hypocrite swear and say that we only want to do goodness. By making this mosques we have provided facilities to believers and have taken one more step in the way of religion. There is no evil objective behind us. We should not be impressed by their speeches and the crocodile tears which they shed. 6

8 You would have seen in films where actors cry, so are these tears real or he is doing as per the script given to them. These politicians who come on media after blasts are taking place; they have roasted lamb in front of them and then express their grievances for these incidents. These are all actors specifically in the world of politics. Why a community gets impressed with the acts of actors, this itself is lack of sense. I remember in Qom, where there is a culture that drivers and all consider everyone from our part of the world as Indian. They are quite impressed with Indians and not Pakistani s this because of India films and they know the names of film actors. They ask scholars about film actors. We sat in a taxi, the driver was a religious person and started to speak about Indian films. He said I like Indians a lot due to Indian films. He said at the time of Shah one Indian film was played and we all went to see the movie. He says my mother cried throughout the movie, and I said to my mother if you would have cried this much for Imam Hussain (a.s) you would have got salvation. Indians are expert in making emotional films and can make people cry and self-made stories. Actors are doing acting in film so why you are crying on their acting. In Pakistan when marriage is done and the bride leaves on the day, she cries and in some cases the bridegroom also starts to cry. There was an incident when the bride was leaving and the bridegroom was smiling. A young child who was the brother of bride asked his father as to why the groom is smiling when everyone is crying and my sister is crying so loud. The father said that she is crying for few minutes and he is laughing for few minutes. After some time she will laugh for entire life and he will cry for entire life. When people are doing acting why are you getting impressed? An actor comes live on pulpit and you cry. This is a weakness of man to cry on someone s acting. They are all actors and you should not get impressed with their emotions. Similarly those who do acting in politics; the secular politics do not claim sincerity but the religious politicians always talk about sincerity as if all their body organs are filled with sincerity. You see their activities sand not go by their swearing. Quran says that they will swear that we have good intentions; we are here for your welfare, for the community we are doing all this. But Allah bears witness that they are liar. Be attentive that when hypocrite swears that I am telling the truth but Allah is saying no he is lying. Then whom should a believer believe on? The witness that Allah is giving or the false swearing of hypocrite. He should have faith on the witness of Allah because Allah is saying that he is liar in swearing. Here also if we fall into the deception of swearing then we have denied the witness of Allah also. If you see in Pakistan how mosques got exposed, the famous of mosque of Islamabad was exposed to everyone that this is Masjid-e-Zaraar. Zia ul Haqq laid the foundation of that mosque and we can see what damage that mosque did and till now they are doing it. Mosque is necessary and without it religion cannot be established. There is no replacement for mosque; neither Madrassah, library, organization, institutes, centers nor anything else cannot take the place and deliver the role of mosque. Mosque has its own position and Masjid-e-Zaraar are established in the name of mosque itself. Here the believer should demonstrate their sense in building mosques on the basis of Taqwa and recognize the Masjid-e-Zaraar and do not cooperate with such mosques. If you cannot physically bring down the structure of these Masjid-e-Zaraar then at least disassociate with them so that without the cooperation of believers these mosques will get destroyed. The believers unintentionally should not become part of these Masjid-e-Zaraar and may Allah protect everyone from these centers of Zaraar. SECOND SERMON This week in Pakistan has been very bitter and after a short break which came in this series of assassination this new wave has started and innocents are being killed across the nation. From Balochistan to the Western border man slaughter is happening, somewhere police and some places 7

9 shrine of elderly persons. The most bitter incidents which caused the most damage; one was the Lahore incident and other that took place yesterday in Sehwan in the well-known shrine of an elder. There has been big loss of live. We pray to Allah for the forgiveness of those who became victimized, we pray for patience for their families and all those who are injured we pray for their recovery If the believers remember, that I have been reminding them that the breaks which are coming you should not come under deception of media, that we have broken the back of terrorists. I said that this is impossible, that they are breaking back, or shoulder, instead they are only concealing them, hiding them. They got the opportunity and time to gather their strengths. They are again out in field and are carrying out operations wherever they want. They came in sensitive places like Punjab assembly and there is no place from where they could be stopped. Terrorism has destroyed Pakistan and you can see the effects of Terrorism that Pakistani cricket team has gone to Dubai to play national tournament. Every country s tournament is played inside their nation and how is this country that a game which also a worst game and sign of disgrace. This game of cricket came to us from British. That group has left this game in us as inheritance; those who made us salves for centuries. The slaves like everything of their masters but they cannot even play this game of their masters and have gone out. The authorities are saying that we are trying to play the final of this tournament in Lahore but they are dreaded. Terrorism has destroyed industry, sports, politics, economy, safety and peace and nothing is secure in Pakistan. There is no group, from the security forces who are also unsafe from the common masses where everyone is unsafe. On one had they are tying also to finish terrorism. Some are sincere and want to end this but with this type of efforts even if they try for 100 yrs. they can t end this. This is because till the time the root cause from where this started is not ended, it will not end. The actual element of terrorism are not few terrorist whom you catch. They are the results and fruits of terrorism, the roots are different. This is an intellectual law that if you confront the effects and not the roots then this encounter will be useless. To end diseases you have to end the roots and not its symptoms. In Pakistan this deviated encounter has been there and can be seen also sometimes but at a very surficial level where the encounter has been against the signs of terrorism. They declare some groups as banned and remove boards of terrorism. But you see the banned outfits are most active, they do open programs, and media gives them coverage. Those who accepted this terrorism it is not necessary that those who are accepting that they are doing. This is not a proof. Everyone knows the root and cause behind this but no one has the courage to touch those roots. They are so effective, powerful that no politician has the courage to even take their names. Neither media nor officers who even sacrifice their life have the courage. The roots of terrorism in Pakistan are deep and not surficial. Some are inside and some outside and they are both coordinated. There is no one having courage to find the root elements inside nor outside. At present the situation where the current wave of terrorism can be understood why it is happening. This is because all the borders of Pakistan are insecure. There is a long border of Pakistan with India, and then there is another border with Afghanistan that is also insure and similarly all borders are insecure. There are four neighbors of Pakistan amongst which only with one which is a small border window with china there are better relationships. The other three countries as neighbors are not friendly relationship. With India we know the reason is there from the very beginning, and topmost is the issue of Kashmir which results into permanent difference amongst the two. But Afghanistan in one time was considered as a province of Pakistan. In order to expand the land of Pakistan Zia ul Haqq fought the battle of America, and involved Pakistan into the battle and from that day Pakistan has not seen a single day of peace. Today all steps are taken against terrorism, operations are done, meetings are done but this fact is ignored as to who are the actual roots and elements of terrorism. Those Mujahid of that time in war of Afghanistan have become terrorists of today and have fueled entire country in threat. The capital which Pakistan has invested in Afghanistan 8

10 that is political, economic, culture, spiritual, ethical and everything but instead of getting Afghanistan into Pakistan they drowned Pakistan into the quagmire of Afghanistan. This was done by those ignorant foolish persons whose policies implemented that time has not even changed by an iota till date which has caused all these destructions in Pakistan today. One border is with Iran which has always been peaceful for Pakistan. But Pakistan with its people, government, politicians, personalities and groups have always been under the dominance of Arab nations continuously. The Arabs are themselves slave and labor of Western nations and we are the slaves of Arabs. The Arabs consider and even declare it openly in media as well everything in Pakistan belongs to us and our personnel also say that to defend the Arabs is a communal obligation on Pakistan nation. This not something hidden about the relationship which Pakistan has with Arabs in every context whether cultural, political or anything else. We can even say rightly that Pakistan politicians are more faithful, loyal to Arabs than to the Pakistani people. This is the effect of that money which Arabs have invested in Pakistan but not in development of anything in Pakistan. They have used their wealth to buy out Pakistani groups, personalities, governments, and media and since they have money they make everyone as contractors and get work done on rent. It is a disgraceful thing that even a lowly, abased government like that of Bahrain has deep effectiveness on Pakistan. Today Pakistani s consider Bahrain as a big investor whereas Bahrain government has done mass scale oppression on their people, scholars because they are Shias but our people have very good friendly relationship with Bahrain. Similarly other Arab states also have such relationship with Pakistan and the effect of these relationships is that the Iran border of Pakistan has also been made insecure. Though Pakistan and Iran were historic friends but now we don t see any friendly relationship with Iran. When Pakistan came into existence it was Iran which accepted first formally and when Islamic Revolution came in Iran it was first formally accepted by Pakistan. Such deep friendly relationship has turned unfriendly though I am being careful to not say enmity and we pray that it should not be enmity between the two but we don t sense any friendship between the two. In such circumstances where a country is surrounded by enemy and non-friendly neighbors and this is because of no diplomacy adopted. For such a long period there is no Ministry of Foreign affairs in Pakistan government and the nation is running only for Home Minister. In such situation the Ministry of foreign affairs plays a role to establish diplomatic relationship with other countries but without such an entity how will a country run. The uncontrolled interference of Arab nations in Pakistan is the biggest element of promoting terrorism in this country. All the religious elements in whichever name it may be Taliban, Sipah e Sahibe, Lashkar e Janghvi or other small breakout groups they are all fully supported by the Arab nations. And Pakistan cannot say or has the courage ; not with media, army or any personality to tell Arab nations to not support terrorism in Pakistan and they can do whatever they want to do in their own country but leave Pakistan for its people to manage. It is impossible that a Pakistan stands up and says something to any Arab and Arabs do not even consider or treat Pakistani s as even human beings. Those Pakistani s who are working in Arab country can provide you the details on how they treat us. But just for the sake of poverty, labor and living they work for these lowly beings and these Arabs molest our women, kill our birds, animals and whatever they do we cannot tell them. They cannot even summon the Arab ambassador and tell him to not take rented people from here for fighting with Yemen, Syria and any other front. Pakistani s are not the creation who can be rented though due to poverty the people from here visit Gulf countries for working but do not make them rented killers and terrorism. If you Arabs have money then spend it for the development of your own country and do not even give charity to us. Though we are outwardly poor but we are independent and this nation has a lot of potentials and we are capable to save our own 9

11 nation and develop it. This feeling of slavery and shamefulness due to the money that comes from Arab can never allow terrorism to be eliminated by its roots in Pakistan. At present India and Afghanistan in the neighborhood of Pakistan are a much bigger threat and problem. The elements of enemies from Indian agencies have infiltrated inside Afghanistan and they carry out terrorist activities inside Pakistan from there. Even if we assume that the relationship with neighboring countries become good then also the root causes, elements of terrorism are much more and bigger which will not allow this to end. One big element for which there is no one having courage in Pakistan to say that these centers are doing this in Pakistan. Like to target the shrine of an elderly personality or targeting sect like Shiite is a special form of terrorism. Where are its roots? Is India against the shrines or Afghanistan government? It is clear that the Takfirists thinking, mindset which has been spread in Pakistan under provincial leaderships in Pakistan. A movement of Takfirism has been started from Pakistan whereby a sect consider everyone other than themselves as infidels; like Shias are Infidels. They consider shrines and anything which other sects do as infidels. If anyone from other sect prays or wears a dress of his own this is Shirk. This Takfirist are formally present, they have centers, mosques, and they issue verdicts of infidelity by coming openly on media. These TV anchors are also amongst them; they invite Takfirists and take verdicts of Kufr on TV channel. Is it not clear who is issuing these verdicts of Kufr in Pakistan? Shias do not consider anyone else as Kafir and till date Shia has not issued a verdict of Kufr against any Muslim that they are outside religion and infidel. The Ahle Sunnah also do not consider any other sect as infidel. The Takfirist thinking, passion is present in the roots of terrorism. Everyone knows this but now they are doing operations on terrorism cells and groups but till the time this Takfirist thinking is present, this group is present it will not stop terrorism. By sealing one or two Madrassah s also will not help instead this thinking of Takfirism should be declared as strictly prohibited whereby anyone anywhere in the world believes in killing a Muslim because he is not from his sect then such persons should be banned and in fact this should be declared as a crime in Pakistan and globally. When this happens then we can say this is an encounter with terrorism. But now the Takfirist institutes promoting terrorism are given aids by government that too in a situation when there is high security alert. They give them big amounts to deploy computers and bring them in politics. They want these terrorists to become ministers and sit in Assembly which they have done in Jhang now. This is the accursed dirty politics which they are playing that in order to make someone leave terrorism they bring him in assembly. By coming in assembly will he not remain as terrorist, in fact he will be a much powerful terrorist now. The third root element of terrorism that is present in the country are certain persons who are present in government institutes who have the same thinking and giving funds, protection and all type of support to these terrorist groups. They consider these terrorists and Takfirist groups as the assets for the nation. This thinking is present with certain bureaucrats and political personalities that these terrorists are our assets, forces which is going to give us protection from neighbor enemy countries. This means wherever there is a need like Yemen or somewhere else we should send them. The biggest pioneer, guardian of terrorism is Saudi Arabia whose religious preaching that is spread has terrorism and killing of Muslims inside it. There are daily programs held to discuss the protection of Haramain. These are done openly by banned outfits so if you have banned them than how are they doing these gatherings. You are claiming that we will not allow terrorists to raise their heads, we will not leave them but these are all vocal statements. The government has the power to fight terrorism but with the condition that sincere, loyal persons are available with the government and they are not sold out for Dirhams, Rials, dollars and gold. If the government does not want to end terrorism and consider them as assets then what is left behind are the masses who can end terrorism. But for this a social sense, awakening is required but the community is senseless even on severe incidents. If you are 10

12 attentive then these big blasts that took place in Lahore and Sehwan, on police forces and in many other places from everywhere there has been bloodshed across the country. All this is happening and see the situation of the community. They are only sitting on media and counting scores. They are sitting on WATSAPP and sending messages on what is the score in Dubai for cricket and score in Sehwan. One will say 77 other will say 78. This is the reaction of the community who is only counting scores. They will express few statements but there is no feeling, sense and do not consider anything as their responsibility. This country is burning in fire and we have to get this nation out of this. We are not living in some other county that we live an unconcerned life. The people can do this if they develop sense and awakening but till the time this does not happen we cannot. As I said one issue was that we do not touch the roots but instead try to wipe off the effects. This will not end terrorism. I have pointed towards three important elements of terrorism which needs to be elaborated. And in order to end terrorism there are two power base present in the country; one is the government and second are the people. These two can end terrorism in Pakistan. All the centers, institutes, bases which these terrorists have built in past should be destroyed if the current personnel sincerely want to end terrorism. These are all centers of Zaraar, forces of Zaraar, Madrassah, mosques of Zaraar which issue verdicts of infidelity for other sects. You do not tell these centers anything but on other hand you claim that we will not allow terrorists to raise their heads. The people are senseless and in government there are treacherous people present. Some are trying sincerely like these police officers who go out in the field. Despite of high alert in Lahore the topmost officer, DIG went out to negotiate with the drug mafia to open the roads. There was some passion inside him that he himself went out else he would have not taken the risk and sent someone else. There are such one odd courageous and sincere persons but there are treacherous who make them ineffective. The government power base has become corrupted and the power base of people is senseless. And the ground is now under the control of terrorists and those nations, agencies behind terrorists are controlling the ground. When there is no one there to uproot these and only effects are being targeted then there would be only insecurity in the country. And under insecurity nothing can happen; neither education, living, business nor anything else. Even you cannot play your cricket match in the country if the nation is insecure. Then the only thing that will happen is that Pakistani s will run from the country. This is not the right strategy that people should run away. Those who have developed sense should educate and awaken others. A communal intention has to develop inside the community to end terrorism, to bring peace to the nation then there will be support from Allah. When other nations of the world can be peaceful then Pakistan also can be peaceful. But if everyone is self-oriented and not concerned with others, then this unconcernedness has left this ground open for terrorists. 11
