1 In the Mahajrya tradition, some dates are dedicated to the contemplation of a precise spiritual aspect. In this way, every month of the year has one specific day of contemplation called minor celebrations. It goes the same for every year. Then there are the major celebrations that happen only one time by decade (2/2/2012, 2/2/ ). In this period of time, if you are charging a mantra or doing a process, you can stop your practices and add one more day at the end of your process. The following lists mention the monthly dates and the annual dates that we suggest to take in consideration in the Mahajrya tradition. Note from Maha Acharya Maha Vajra: We never celebrate the days of other traditions, not Christmas or Vesak (or St. Francis Day) for example. The reason for this is so that Christians and others can celebrate their traditions with their families, and the dharma spreads harmoniously. We will always only have the 12 significant days, no more than that, so any new significant Mahajrya days of observance will fall on one of these existing days. To ask for a special day for one of the organizations of Mahajrya it has to be proven the success of that organization. I simply offer my respectful obeisance unto You. You are the husband and master of Lakshmidevi, the goddess of fortune, who has all opulences. Therefore, You are the master of all mystic yoga. Mother Lakshmi is represented in the material world as the external energy, but actually she is always the internal energy of the Lord." She also has a holy name and form, whereas You are the support of all such names and forms and the cause for their manifestation."
