1 ANNUAL REPORT 2016 For over 20 years, God has been active in and through Rolling Hills Christian Church was no different and, as we look forward to 2017, we remain confident in, and excited for, God s plan for our church and community. Thank you for being a part of all that has been achieved. Our mission remains to help people, especially families, find and follow Jesus, and our passion is to see God change people, one life at a time. God is using the people of Rolling Hills Christian Church to change lives locally and globally. The numbers in this report, and the stories behind them, show some of the key results toward our mission and passion. We are sharing the love of Jesus with others through His words and deeds, and that is why our church is so important in the Kingdom of God. This year is full of promise for Rolling Hills and our community. Our most significant event in 2017 will be our search for, and calling of, a new Lead Pastor. Our call to action as a church is that we are God s People, united by God s Gospel, released for God s Mission, all for God s Glory. We are called upon to BE the Church. FOODSHARES & THE CLOSET Households served this year: 1,406 Individuals served this year: 5,439 Distribution Dates: 23 Bags of groceries donated: Over 1500 CHRISTMAS SHOPPE Kids receiving gifts: 506 Families receiving gifts: 143 Volunteers: 400+ Gifts Donated: $40,000+ FEED MY STARVING CHILDREN Meals Packed: 210,000 Volunteers Packing: 900+ Money raised to pay for meals: $26,000 MADE WITH LOVE (SEWING MINISTRY) Sewing Sessions in 2016: 33 (Made dresses, backpacks, dolls & more!) Items donated: Over 4,000 items to 15 countries worldwide TUTORING WITH LOVE Students: 28 Tutors: 18
