10 Thank You, Access Volunteers!!! I am so very grateful for Access. The first day we dropped off our daughter, Hope, and saw the quality programming I wanted to burst into tears. I felt like it was heaven on earth. Thank you to all of you for your time, your love, your hearts, your compassion. So many of the volunteers remember my children and that makes them feel welcome. You have uplifted the hearts of parents who need a break that is guilt free. We know you care and you roll out the red carpet for our kids. Thank you!!! Sheryl & Bill Warne

22 ACCESS IS THE ANCHOR THAT HOLDS US TOGETHER We look forward all week long to coming to worship on Saturday nights knowing that Luke is welcome and well-cared for while we relax in church. Breakaway and Sibs are also such gifts from volunteers who choose to spend their Friday and Saturday nights this way. We humbly thank you and God for all you do for our kids and family! 25 WE ACCESS We are so thankful that you provide a safe and happy environment where we can drop off our children. It is such a blessing to know we can leave them in a place where we won t get negative comments or calls about their behavior...where they only receive love and encouragement. It s the only place they ask to go!

28 ACCESS VOLUNTEER TEACHERS GIVE MORE THAN TIME WITH OUR SON... They give us the freedom to worship with peace in our hearts. We are not worried about our son while we are worshipping... 34 THANK YOU ALL YOU ARE A BLESSING AND HAVE A HUGE PLACE IN OUR HEARTS. We are so appreciative of all the volunteers dedicated to serving the children in Access on Saturday evenings. The volunteers and staff have become part of our family. Our son, is multi-disabled, and deafness is a part of his disability. The volunteers are either trained or make an effort to learn sign language which is so helpful for Ean. The Williams family

37 A THOUSAND THANK-YOU'S! YOU ARE ALL AWESOME! Access provides the only way Tim,my husband, and I ever get to have a conversation, other than by cell phone. Our autistic son loves going to Access, and our non-autistic son cries when he cannot attend Breakaway with his brother. Also, MBC events are the only place where my autistic son's meltdowns are minimized. Suzi Parker-Price

It is wonderful to be able to drop Lila off for a large part of a day and to be confident that she is safe and happy. The break is great for us and Lila enjoys the time at Breakaway as well. None of this would be possible without the volunteers and it is very kind of them to give us this gift of their time and energy The Hogans

55 A MILLION THANK YOU'S ARE NOT ENOUGH! The fact that so many people are willing to give of their precious time on the weekend so that my son can have fun and his parents can have a break...i can't begin to tell you how much it means to us. 58 THANK YOU ALL FROM THE BOTTOM OF OUR HEARTS!!! How very precious your time and love are as you teach our daughter, Kate, about love, compassion, and God. As a military family, we ve attended a number of churches across the country. In many churches, though well meaning, the staff and laypersons simply haven t had the capability or the wherewithal to understand the many needs of a child with a disability or the family s needs.
