Life Track is a four-step journey that equips you to connect to the church, discover the strengths of your purposeful design, develop the essentials of leading with infl uence, and use your God-given gifts to make a difference in the lives of others. Life Track takes place every month on four consecutive Sundays, beginning with step one on the fi rst Sunday of the month. Join us on Monday, May 7, at 7 pm in the Plex for information about the Calvary School of Ministry, a two-semester academic and practical ministry experience program. This is a great opportunity to meet Pastor Nelson Walker and get answers to your questions about the SOM. Registration deadline for the school year is Tuesday, July 31. Shine Summer Kick-Off Your child has been given a solid foundation of biblical truths in and now has the opportunity to live out those truths as they enter SPCTRM, our middle and high school ministry. Shine Summer Kick-Off is an opportunity for your 5th grade child to meet the SPCTRM leaders during a time of fun and fellowship on Saturday, May 19, from 9 am to 2 pm. Register at cabq.us/shine by Friday, May 18; cost is $10 per child. Kids Movie Matinee Take a break, catch a movie, and introduce your friends and family to Calvary Church in a fun way. Bring them out for our free Kids Movie Matinee at Calvary Church Nob Hill in the Lobo Theater. Join us on Friday, May 25, at 2 pm for Inside Out. Baptism Baptism affirms a believer s faith in Jesus. We invite you to take this important step on Sunday, May 27, in the amphitheater at 1:15 pm. Please bring a towel and wear a modest swimsuit. Children who would like to be baptized are required to attend a class in room H3 on Sunday, May 20, at 9:45 am with their parents or guardians. Register at calvarynm.church/baptism no later than Friday, May 25, so we can prepare for you. 5 Feed New Mexico Kids Did you know that New Mexico is #1 in childhood hunger? Help Feed New Mexico Kids by bringing nutritious, single-serving food items (i.e., no cooking, no can openers required) to the gray bins in the foyer. Together we can stamp out childhood hunger in our state. A list of acceptable nonperishable foods is available at the bins or at calvarynm.church/feednmkids. Jesus anchors us through life s storms.
