4 Expound Communion Service/Afterglow Join us on Wednesday, August 9, for Expound, as Pastor Skip wraps up the Holy Spirit series and we share in Communion to remember Christ s sacrifice for us. And join us after the service for an afterglow in the Hub as we wait on the Lord to experience His glory through the gifts of the Holy Spirit. Baby Dedication/ Baptism Class Join us for this class on Sunday, August 13, at 9:45 am in room H3. If your child wishes to be baptized, they should be old enough to understand the significance of receiving Christ typically 3rd-5th grade and be ready to make a public profession of their faith and verbalize their testimony. A parent or guardian is required to accompany the child to this class. Evangelism Training Class If you re nervous about sharing your faith, don t know how to, have questions, or just want to be further equipped and more involved in Calvary s evangelistic ministries, then this class is for you. This free, fourweek series meets on Fridays, beginning August 18, at in the Hub. she Lives: Bendable, Not Breakable she Lives presents Bendable, Not Breakable on Saturday, August 19, at 9 am in the Hub. We ll dive into God s Word to learn about how He has called each of us to love sacrificially and forgive unconditionally. As we learn to bend our desires to match His, we can be assured that He will not allow us to break. Challenge Men s Monthly Rally Challenge Men in Ministry enables men to commit to God s Word through mo be fulfilled for God s glory.
