13 COMPOSITION OF MAN Mankind Are Made in the Image of God (Gen 1:26-27). God Is Triune (3 Persons, Each with Mind, Heart, Will). A Human Is Both Natural/Physical (from the Dust/Dirt) and Supernatural/Spiritual (from God s Breath/Spirit) (Gen 2:7). It Is Composed of 3 Parts: Spirit, Soul, and Body/Flesh(1 Sam 1:15; Job 7:11; Isa 26:9, 42:1; Matt 12:18; 1 Cor 15:45; 1 Thess 5:23; Heb 4:12): Spirit (Heb: ruah; Gk: pneuma): Universal Principle of Life, the Elementary Presence of the Holy Spirit (Gen 6:2). Soul (Heb: nephesh; Gk: psyche): Individual Personality. Body/Flesh (Heb: basar; Gk: soma): Physical Container.

15 LAYERS AND FACULTIES Dichotomy (2 Parts): Natural/Material/Visible/Animal-Like vs. Supernatural/Immaterial/Invisible/God-Like. Trichotomy (3 Parts): Spirit, Soul and Body. 7 Parts: Spirit+ Soul + Body Soul = Conscience(the Deepest Part of the Soul; Associated to the Spirit) + Person (the Core of the Soul) + Strength(the Outer Level of the Soul; Associated to the Body). Person = Mind(Reason, Associated to the Left Brain) + Will (Volition, the Ability to Make Decisions) + Heart(Emotion, Associated to the Right Brain). The Mind Is Slightly Higher (More Spiritual) than the Heart (Lightly More Physical). 3 Levels of Consciousness: Conscious, Subconscious, and Unconscious.

18 SALVATION TO NATURAL MEN The Natural Men Born in Adam Is Corrupted to the Core: The Spirit Is Dead (Rom 8:11; Jms 2:26; 1 Pet 4:6) The Conscience Is Darkened (Rom 1:21; 2:15; 11:10; Eph 4:18) All Faculties Are Damaged Salvation to a Natural Man Happens in These Steps: God the Holy Spirit Regenerates the Human Spirit, and Permanently Lives in It. The Holy Spirit Gradually Takes Control of Our Soul: Illuminating the Mind so that We Understand the Gospel, Convicting Our Will to Believer in Christ, Moving Our Heart to Mourn for Our Sins and Be Comforted by Grace, and Giving Us Strength to Overcome Sin, to Forgive and Serve Others.

21 SANCTIFICATION TO SAVED MEN The Beatitudes Is the Blue Print of God s Plan of Creating a New Humanity. The First Four Blessings in the Beatitudes Are Inserting Spiritual Elements to a Natural Man: Being Poor in Spirit Is Recognizing by the Convicted Conscience and Illumined Mind that One Is Deficient for Heaven. Mourning [for Sin] Is a Heartful Reaction to the Fact, and Rejecting Self Efforts, Knowing their Inefficiency. Being Meek Is the Result of Knowing the Identity after Being Regenerated, Adopted, and Betrothed, as Fellow Heir of Salvation, so that One Can Be Meek to Others. Hungering and Thirsting for Righteousness Is Trying to Become Like Our Father in Heaven, Who Is Perfect.
