From that time Jesus began to preach and to say, Repent, for the kingdom of heaven is at hand. Matt. 4:17

to whom He also presented Himself alive after His suffering by many infallible proofs, being seen by them during forty days and

speaking of the things pertaining to the kingdom of God. Acts 1:3

And I say to you that many will come from east and west, and sit down with Abraham, Isaac, and Jacob in the kingdom of heaven. Matt. 8:11

But if I cast out demons with the finger of God, surely the kingdom of God has come upon you. Luke 11:20

And Jesus went about all Galilee, teaching in their synagogues, preaching the gospel of the kingdom,

and healing all kinds of sickness and all kinds of disease among the people. Matt. 4:23

Great multitudes followed Him-from Galilee, and from Decapolis, Jerusalem, Judea, and beyond the Jordan. Matt. 4:25

And seeing the multitudes, He went up on a mountain, and when He was seated His disciples came to Him. 2 Then He opened His mouth and taught them, saying: Matt. 5:1-2

6 Blessed are those who hunger and thirst for righteousness, for they shall be filled. 7 Blessed are the merciful, for they shall obtain mercy.

8 Blessed are the pure in heart, for they shall see God. Matt. 5:6-8

Experiencing His Kingdom 1. A New Desire

Blessed are those who hunger and thirst for righteousness, for they shall be filled. Matt. 5:6

As it is written: There is none righteous, no, not one; Rom. 3:10

for all have sinned and fall short of the glory of God, Rom. 3:23

For what does the Scripture say? Abraham believed God, and it was accounted to him for righteousness. Rom. 4:3

5 But to him who does not work but believes on Him who justifies the ungodly, his faith is accounted for righteousness, 6 just as David also describes

the blessedness of the man to whom God imputes righteousness apart from works: Rom. 4:5-6

For He made Him who knew no sin to be sin for us, that we might become the righteousness of God in Him. 2 Cor. 5:21

as newborn babes, desire the pure milk of the word, that you may grow thereby, 1 Peter 2:2

Your words were found, and I ate them, and Your word was to me the joy and rejoicing of my heart; For I am called by Your name, O LORD God of hosts. Jer. 15:16

O God, You are my God; early will I seek You; My soul thirsts for You; My flesh longs for You in a dry and thirsty land where there is no water. Ps. 63:1

For He has satisfied the thirsty soul, and the hungry soul He has filled with what is good. Ps. 107:9 NASB

Experiencing His Kingdom 1. A New Desire

Experiencing His Kingdom 1. A New Desire 2. A New Demeanor

Blessed are the merciful, for they shall obtain mercy. Matt. 5:7

not by works of righteousness which we have done, but according to His mercy He saved us, through the washing of regeneration and renewing of the Holy Spirit, Titus 3:5

But God, who is rich in mercy, because of His great love with which He loved us, Eph. 2:4

Experiencing His Kingdom 1. A New Desire 2. A New Demeanor

Experiencing His Kingdom 1. A New Desire 2. A New Demeanor 3. A New Devotion

Blessed are the pure in heart, for they shall see God. Matt. 5:8

Above all else, guard your heart, for everything you do flows from it. Prov. 4:23 NIV

The heart is deceitful above all things, and desperately wicked; Who can know it? Jer. 17:9

Who can say, I have made my heart clean, I am pure from my sin? Prov. 20:9

25 Woe to you, scribes and Pharisees, hypocrites! For you cleanse the outside of the cup and dish, but inside they are full of extortion and self-indulgence.

26 Blind Pharisee, first cleanse the inside of the cup and dish, that the outside of them may be clean also. 27 Woe to you, scribes and Pharisees, hypocrites! For you

are like whitewashed tombs which indeed appear beautiful outwardly, but inside are full of dead men s bones and all uncleanness.

28 Even so you also outwardly appear righteous to men, but inside you are full of hypocrisy and lawlessness. Matt. 23:25-28

Beloved, now we are children of God; and it has not yet been revealed what we shall be, but we know that when He is revealed, we shall be like Him, for we shall see Him as He is. 1 John 3:2

And everyone who has this hope in Him purifies himself, just as He is pure. 1 John 3:3

Peter said to Him, You shall never wash my feet! Jesus answered him, If I do not wash you, you have no part with Me. John 13:8

Simon Peter said to Him, Lord, not my feet only, but also my hands and my head! John 13:9

Jesus said to him, He who is bathed needs only to wash his feet, but is completely clean; and you are clean, but not all of you. John 13:10

For He knew who would betray Him; therefore He said, You are not all clean. John 13:11

But if we walk in the light as He is in the light, we have fellowship with one another, and the blood of Jesus Christ His Son cleanses us from all sin. 1 John 1:7
