As happens each year, there is a tremendous sense of energy and vision in the ministry now. Taking the whole month off as we do each year may be one of the most important things we do to keep the ministry fresh and advancing. This year it seems to be especially true. I just spent most of the month completely alone with the Lord in a small, rustic cottage we have at the Gulf. It was like the Holy of Holies. Our July Sabbatical in 2014 was one of the best times I have ever had in the Lord. It began with the longest single-day motorcycle ride I have ever taken. It was a major demarcation point in my life. I was hoping this year would be as good, but it was much better. However, I did not ride the motorcycle at all last month. Julie was away for much of July attending to her father who is an invalid now, so I just spent most of the month completely alone with the Lord in a small, rustic cottage we have at the Gulf. It was like the Holy of Holies. During the month I think I had a significant dream almost every night, and I could hardly take a short nap without having a dream. It will take me a long time to process it all and get it out. However, the best part was just how much closer to the Lord I felt. Last year He spoke to me about being a friend, and this year it was all about being a son. I have never felt this close to the Lord personally. 1

2 In spite of all the prophetic experiences and the incredible life I ve had with many who I think are some of the world s most interesting people, there is nothing I ve ever done more fulfilling and exciting than the relationship I m now having with the Lord. I know it can keep getting better. NEW BOOK I also finished a book that I think could be of real importance and timely. It s about how the church is going to be transformed, and especially how we will become the army of God that we are called to be. It could be out in the next few weeks in E-version, and just a couple of weeks later as a physical book. I felt a download coming every day I worked on it. Even though I wrote it and then rewrote it several times last month, it was as fresh and exciting to me the last time as the first because I kept getting fresh insights. Army of the Dawn is the working title. PROPHETIC PERSPECTIVES I ve been getting so much revelation from dreams and visions that I can t put them into writing as fast as I m getting them now. Writing is the way that I feel the most natural communicating. However, I think much of what I m getting now is more suited for presenting on television so that I can discuss the nuances. Sometimes a feeling that you have when you re having a dream is an important part of the message and just comes out better when told. I think this was true of the dreams I had about the coming invasion along our Southern border. For this reason, I m gearing up to do a lot more MSTV beginning this month. MORNINGSTAR UNIVERSITY We are now on the verge of beginning a new school year for MSU. This year we will be able to do things we have never been able to do before and teach on levels never before possible. It s also being done in one-week courses so you can come just for one week and get a major impartation. Check out our schedule and try one. I think any week could be profoundly impacting. I m the main teacher and overseer for two courses, or two weeks each month. The first will be the second week each month and is titled, The Whole Message Of This Life. It 2

3 A WORD FROM RICK JOYNER I also finished a book that I think could be of real importance and timely. It s about how the church is going to be transformed, and especially how we will become the army of God that we are called to be. HARVEST FEST will be built upon biblical history and church history that have led to the understanding of the times and where we are going. So it is connecting history and current events to biblical prophecy. I ve never been able to share some of the things I learned from studying history for so long. I m especially thrilled to be able to connect it to biblical prophecy. We will have a chance to review many of the ways that biblical prophecy was viewed by those like the early church fathers. They were very accurate in their forecasts, and I personally think projected a much more accurate eschatology than has emerged in the last two centuries. These should be heard and considered, and I think could have the impact of changing much of the popular eschatology of today that does not have much of a biblical basis. Could this happen? One of the great encouragements I have from the Book of Acts is how the Apostle Paul taught two years in the school of Tyrannus in Acts 19 and all Asia heard the word of the Lord (see Acts 19:10). Think about how awesome that class must have been! I have a sense that something of great significance is going to come out of MSU like that with a very broad impact. This year our Harvest Fest comes at the end of the week that I will be teaching on The Whole Message Of This Life, so we are going to combine them. Those who come in for the class that starts Monday will be given free registration to Harvest Fest. Or, those who can make it a day or two early for Harvest Fest will be able to come to the MSU class free of charge. The message will fit together, and I think together will be something like we have never presented before. Check it out on our website. This is always an awesome time, and sometimes historic. 4 MORNINGSTAR MISSIONS Going Beyond The Veil In Italy BY JORGE PARROTT All Scriptures are from New King James Version. The remnant of true disciples of Jesus is thriving in many nations. Italy is a nation that has a long history and importance, even in The Bible and the life of the Apostle Paul. The Lord revealed to us at the recent Prophetic Roundtable held in late June to speak to them about their identity as a nation, as God s people, and as end-time warriors in the Spirit. There is a surprising move occurring in the Spirit-filled churches there. The influence of the Catholic church is often all we hear about from Italy. Be encouraged there is much unity and passion in the evangelical and protestant churches in Italy to persevere in turbulent times. Recently, over 500,000, including many Catholics, gathered in Rome to protest gay marriage and gender identity tolerance. The identity of young people there is being challenged with societal and secular humanist and gay agenda ilk threatening their God ordained gender identity and the sanctity of marriage. A team of MFM members was invited to hold the first MFM Roundtable in Italy on the eastern shores by the Adriatic Sea with fellow MFM members Prince and Love Nwigwe of Red Deer, Alberta, Canada. Prince earned his Doctoral Degree from the MSU College of Theology. His wife, Love, is earning her Doctoral Degree in Counseling 4

5 Italy is a nation that has a long history and importance, even in The Bible and the life of the Apostle Paul. The Lord revealed to us at the recent Prophetic Roundtable held in late June to speak to them about their identity as a nation, as God s people, and as endtime warriors in the Spirit. ITALY through our school. They lived in Italy for twenty-six years prior to hearing the voice of the Lord to go to Canada. Last year a team went to Canada for a prophetic conference and to launch the MSU College of Theology. Prince and Love are from Nigeria, and ZAO Water has drilled wells with them in Nigeria. These apostolic leaders oversee churches in Nigeria, Italy, and Canada. Recently, their ministry has rescued 1,000 widows whose husbands were murdered by terrorists in northern Nigeria. Prince and Love told us of a dear friend there who is also an apostolic leader, Pietro Evangelista and his wife Sandra. Pietro owns a Christian publishing company and also pastors a church. He coordinated the Roundtable, inviting key pastors from the various regions of Italy, all coming together with humble hearts in seeking the Lord at this pivotal point in the history of Italy. The Roundtable started at a high level as the groundwork was laid we put aside personal agendas and issues to truly seek the heart of the Lord for the nation at this strategic and historic time. The Roundtable exceeded our expectations because of: 1. the hunger of the Pastors and leaders and their churches 2. the integrity and anointing of the leaders 3. the depth of our strong relationship with our friends there These Round Tables are known to release breakthroughs and revelation in new ways in how the Lord speaks to the pastors and leaders in attendance as they press in together to seek the heart of the Lord for a region or nation. A LIFE-CHANGING ENCOUNTER AMIDST FRESH REVELATIONS The Holy Spirit breathed fire and life into our midst as our hunger united in prayer with pastors and leaders from across Italy along with anointed worship and seeking the presence of the Lord together. There were many strong prophetic words words of knowledge and words of wisdom flowing freely. Worship was powerful and many told us the Roundtable and the church visits were truly a life changing time for them. Guests also came to the event from Israel and even Norway. Our team was invited to speak in different churches and the last few days we split into two teams to cover more churches. In every church God showed up and confirmed with prophetic words what He had been speaking to each congregation. Each team member had a voice and the voices came together in harmony releasing fire and life in unique ways to impact every church we visited. 5

6 MORNINGSTAR MISSIONS REFUGEES AND IMMIGRANTS BRINGING REVIVAL TO MANY NATIONS The Bible speaks much about aliens, strangers, and foreigners in the land. The barbarism and horrific crimes against humanity due to increasing persecution and violence in the Middle East, Asia, and N. Africa is crude, shocking, and unprecedented in history on such a global scale. The threat is spreading and taking hold across Europe and foreshadows entry into North America. Italy is surely on God s heart as this historic nation struggles to rebuild after economic shaking in As the global shaking intensifies with increasingly heinous persecution, floods of refugees seek asylum in Italy after crossing the Mediterranean Sea from Africa. In Italy, we see an open door with the leaders we met and the integration of natives with foreigners is a bright light leading to hope and revival as well. Folks attending this Italy Roundtable were from various parts of Italy, several African nations, Sri Lanka, Israel, Norway, the U.S. and Canada, and beyond. We can see from various perspectives the impact of global migration and surging refugees in the U.S. with our porous borders and government mishandling to the point of threatening our national security. However, we know God hates racism. For example in Greece, where the refugees and immigrants are discriminated against and persecuted, their economy is collapsing from the lack of caring for the immigrants along with its socialist, union, and Marxist economic entitlement addictions. FIRE TEAMS AND FRESH BOLDNESS RELEASED Many prophetic words were released in the Roundtable. In discussions at this Roundtable about identity, as residents of Italy, for individuals, churches, as Christians, and for the nation of Italy, the Lord spoke to one of our team members about the need for close koinonia fellowship. This referenced Rick Joyner s recent messages about fellowshipping together. Rick spoke from the Scriptures of where two or more gathered in His name. The Spirit of God moved mightily during this Shelly Pfifer, an MFM Member and Pastor in Bismarck, North Dakota. We have seen firsthand in Spain for the last ten years, where our own MS/CM Missions churches welcome the influx of Latinos, after some initial resistance, revival and church growth is now increasing. May we seek the Lord for discernment and capture His heart and ways in how to respond to the massive migration of refugees and immigrants occurring around the globe. The Italian government is initiating new policies that pay churches for feeding and housing refugees. New evangelism tools are being implemented to capture the hearts of the new neighbors seeking hope and a new life in Italy. Many churches are getting on board with these new opportunities to use tax dollars for evangelism. Ideas are being explored and prayed over regarding how our MSU and MSU College of 6

Fresh boldness and faith were imparted to stand for evangelism along with righteousness and truth in every sphere of influence and region to uphold the standards of the Lord and bring freedom in the Spirit to Italy. The Pope recently announced that one could not have a personal relationship with Jesus without a priest involved. These leaders are passionate about living out the heart of the Father for His children to know their Shepherd, and a fresh hunger has been ignited for more Prophetic Roundtables and prophetic training from MorningStar teams. The doors are wide open, and we are invited to do our part in impacting the destiny of Italy for the glory of the Lord at this critical season. 9 A WINNING MINDSET Excerpt from Dave Yarnes new book, The Prosperity Matrix. s a young man, I was quite avid about working out in the gym, and I even did some boxing. After college, I continued to go to one gym where I noticed a group of men who always stayed Atogether in a close-knit group. When I saw their tattoos, clothing, and body piercings, my immediate impression was that they were gang members. This turned out to be partially true. I decided to reach out, befriend them, and gain an inroad to understanding their subculture. At first, they were extremely closed to my efforts at friendship. They realized I did not have the same background they did, and they thought my intentions were disingenuous. Over the next few years, significant events happened that caused me to be thrust into their confidence. WINNING TRUST This was in the early days of full-contact or ultimate fighting. These strong, young men had a fight club that met twice a week where they would hold bouts of fullcontact fighting. Eventually they were evicted from the premises they were renting because the owner was nervous about their activities. Because they knew I owned several properties in the area, they became more open to speaking with me, and so I began to meet with them as we discussed our common interests in fighting and other sports. When I saw their tattoos, clothing, and body piercings, my immediate impression was that they were gang members. I decided to reach out, befriend them, and gain an inroad to understanding their subculture. At that time, I owned several downtown buildings that had been built in the 1920s and had sub-basements that once handled warehousing and stock. These sub-basements had bathrooms, electricity, and large open spaces that had once housed a work force of stock clerks and maintenance crews, but had long since been vacant a perfect environment for setting up a sparring floor. I decided to strike a deal with these young men to allow them to rebuild one of the vacant sub-basements and outfit it for fighting. I had a few conditions, though. One: There must be a complete lack of drugs and/or any nefarious behavior while they were in the building. Two: We had to concur on a very strict, safe, and propitious way of engaging in full-contact sports. Three: I wanted to be included in their fights and training. And so we agreed. 9

10 IMPRESSIVE WORK It was amazing to see the amount of effort and care these young men put into building that fight club. They mobilized in ranks like a well-formed army cleaning, building walls, and painting. They installed new lights, electrical connections, toilets, and other necessities, using their own funds. As I watched them, I realized with amazement that they had a desire for excellence in their hearts. Within a month or two, the building was ready for its primary use. However, for all of their organization, skill, and hard work, I recognized they had two values holding them back. SELF-DEFEAT One major core value prized by this subculture was to never be taken advantage of. No matter what we did together, I could sense the apprehension they had of being taken advantage of. Another core value was a deep cynicism towards people and life in general. Negativity abounded in their conversations and their evaluations of others. Even if someone came to them seemingly with the purest of motives, they responded with suspicion. They passed up many good opportunities during the time I worked with them because of their overt cynicism. Interestingly, this was a mindset I recognized from my own past. RECALLING MY CYNICAL YEARS In my youth, I was heavily influenced by a cynical mentality. That was probably why I was so comfortable with this group of men I recognized in them the mindset that had taken me years to break out of. It pained me to see the same mindset in these young men. It took years of living through trials and making many errors to realize how personally limiting this way of thinking is. When I became an active Christian, those negative attitudes were difficult to reconcile with my new life and belief system. However, those thought patterns had been so dramatically influential in the formation of my worldview and the paradigms in my youth that, for many years, they continued to hinder me from moving forward. PLANNED NAIVETÉ For me, self-defeating, cynical practices were so destructive that I began to recognize the value of building a counteracting approach. I began practicing a way of life I called planned naiveté. That is the freedom to have faith in other people regardless of past experiences. Planned naiveté means that you stay open to the good things in life and actively choose to believe the best of situations and people. Admittedly, it made me more vulnerable to being taken advantage of, but I could clearly see I did not want to live my life following the alternative way of thinking. Given the choice between being vulnerable and being overly guarded, I saw great benefit in being more open. We can constantly refresh our mental attitudes after daily disappointments and return to planned naiveté. Even when things go wrong, we can train ourselves to mentally re-establish a mindset of faith in other people. This is important, because otherwise we are likely to shut ourselves off from possible relationships and opportunities, too busy protecting ourselves to realize we are missing out on life. The members of the underground fight club would have seen planned naiveté as ridiculous. They were hyper-aware of how people could take advantage of them, and because of that, they almost missed out on building a friendship with me that was mutually beneficial. When you are a trusting person, you are able to focus on the purity in people, not their faults. A lifetime of planned naiveté plays out in the lives of people who have gained great wisdom from their lives. They remain green and productive in old age, even after times of personal drought. They are never bitter or fearful. They may have as many negative experiences as anyone else does, but they never lose their childlike trust. FOUNDATIONS HOPE FOR PROSPERITY What does it mean to be rooted and grounded in a core root system that is empowering and promotes a successful life? This occurs when the deepest underlying beliefs are supporting you and nourishing you. When you are firmly rooted in a positive belief system, your default mindset is one that continually supports your goals. 10

11 THE TUMBLEWEED I remember the first time I heard a powerful message about the importance of being founded on a strong belief system. I was in Times Square Church and the late David Wilkerson was preaching. He said that those who are influenced by the world around them and do not have a strong belief in their purpose and destiny are like withered shrubs in dry places. A literal translation of The Bible verse he was quoting indicates that this type of person is like tumbleweed. They are parched. There is no greenness to them, and they are not attached to anything. I thought, That doesn t sound amazing. It sounds terrible! But I was missing his point. The stock market continues to go up and down, but, like other things, we can remain in a state of security and steadfastness if we have an internal foundation that remains resourceful and is not easily uprooted. Often it is not the lack of resources that affects us in the long term, but the lack of resourcefulness that will pull us down. If you do not have a firm foundation anchored in the truth, you can be shaken. In order to truly build lasting prosperity, you must understand who you are and have a firm grasp of that understanding. Dave Yarnes DEEP ROOTS Those who are sustained by a sincere belief in the value of their identity have developed such a strong root system that no matter what comes, they still continue to bear fruit. Roots, in this analogy, represent that hidden place in your life that no one else knows about. Just as root systems are not visible, these private labors cannot be seen by others. The root system is built up through intentional times alone when we self-examine and strengthen our core beliefs, dreams, and attitudes. Just as roots dig into the soil for both nourishment and supportive strength, so the time we spend alone envisioning and planning our prosperous life provides the encouragement we need for our foundation as we face life s challenges. UNSHAKABLE Society is always changing, and businesses, economies, and relationships can be shaken. By having a secure foundation and belief system, you can remain unshakable. I have not always had a grasp on the ability to be unshakable, but it is a core strength I continue to develop. Rick Joyner and I often have deep conversations about the ever-shifting changes in society. He once said to me, The government is going to collapse! This is the most amazing time ever! He was smiling when he said it, but I could tell he firmly believed both statements.
