Praying in the Spirit without interpretation is okay. This is the private use of tongues (Acts 2:7-8). Corporate Intercession (the Power of Agreement in Prayer) Note: Beloved, let s seize our destiny through faith filled fervent intercessory prayer as we possess the 4 th hour (4am 6am) of the night. God moves when we pray. Friday night intercessory workers fast EVERY Friday. These are opportunities to join them in a 12 hour fast. OCTOBER 1 THURSDAY 2 FRIDAY 3 SATURDAY 4 SUNDAY PRAYER POINTS Syrian Refugees (Psalms 46:9) Pray for children and families who have been uprooted from their homes to receive protection, guidance and resources from local churches who are ministering to the displaced. Pray that extremists will lose influence in Syria. Pray for government leaders in Europe as they struggle with how to respond to the crisis. Pray that God will protect the people from mass attacks. Sanctity of Life for the preborn child Pray to end the harvesting of tissue and organs from aborted babies. Pray for health workers who counsel parents making decisions for the preborn child. Pray that adoption will gain greater attention so that those considering abortion can see other options. Pray for the support of adoption to be increased for unwanted children in America. Overcoming Fear and Worry Pray for our partners to receive peace; and think on good things (Philippians 4:6-7). Pray that partners cast their cares upon the Lord. Bind the spirit of fear (II Timothy 1:7). Pray that our partners would understand the depth of God s love (Ephesians 3:18-19). Race Relations in the U.S. Pray for police officers to uphold the law and correct law breakers with character, wisdom and integrity. Bind the spirit of racism and bigotry. Pray against fraud and corruption in our nation. Pray to bring peace and comfort to all those who

2 are suffering as a result of excessive police force. 5 MONDAY Mills Ministers Retreat Pray for safety/protection for our Pastors during their travels to and from destinations. Pray that ministers who arrive at the retreat discouraged or weary will be refreshed in heart, mind, and spirit. Pray that God allot for times of relaxation and renewal to balance the stress of ministry. Pray for God to reveal His plans and purposes for the future. 6 TUESDAY Serving One Another Pray that partners emulate the pattern of our Lord (Matthew 20:25-28). Pray that partners receive the revelation that we have been chosen to serve others. Pray that we will serve others by giving our time, talent, and treasures. Pray that we will develop a genuine care for one another, perfect love (1 Corinthians 13:4-10) 7 WEDNESDAY Family Issues (1) Pray for our children s good success in life (Joshua 1:8). Pray that our marriages would be God-glorifying. Bind sibling rivalry in families. Loose God s love (unconditional) in families. 8 THURSDAY Family Issues (2) Pray that families will prosper in all things (3 John 1:2). Pray for the release of a generous spirit within families. Pray that our business endeavors would succeed and prosper. Pray that families would become debt-free (Romans 13:8). 9 FRIDAY Family Issues (3) Ask God for wisdom in raising our children. Pray that parents would model a Christian lifestyle at home. Pray that parents would not spoil their children but parent them. Pastor Jackie s Birthday Pray for God to bless her for longevity and faithfulness to the Body of Christ. Pray that the Holy Spirit will revealed to her how much she is loved and appreciated. Pray that the blessings of the Lord will come upon her and overtake her (Deuteronomy 28:2). Thank God for our First Lady. Our Pastors Pray for continued health, vision, and passion as they lead us. Pray that they be protected and shielded from any spiritual or physical oppression. Pray that they would continue to be bless in their marriage, ministry, and personal witness. Give thanks to God for how He has been using the Angels of the house. Marketplace Evangelism Ask God to give us boldness to witness. Ask God to open our eyes to divine appointments. Ask God to give us opportunities to invite people to our church. Pray that all partners will contend for the faith (Jude 3). Daycare Pray for the teachers and aides. Pray for increased student enrollment. Pray for connections with parents especially the unsaved and unchurched. Thank God for the necessary resources. Connecting With The Holy Spirit (John 14:26) Pray that our partners would develop a relationship with the Holy Spirit. Pray that they would sincerely seek Him. Pray that our partners would receive the revelation of the benefit of having the Holy Spirit as their life partner. Ask the Holy Spirit to answer this prayer by

Ministerial Staff And Coordinators Pray that our leaders would be energized by the Holy Spirit for their ministry assignment. Declare the plans God has for our leaders (Jeremiah 29:11). Pray that leaders will begin to confess that they can do all things through Christ who strengthens them. Pray that everything will happen in decency and in order (I Corinthians 14:40). Pastor s Appreciation Sunday/Nigerian Trip Pray for an anointing upon the service and that God would divinely speak through our guest speaker Dr. Glenn Arekion. Thank God for the 10 th year anniversary service for New Life Church in Nigeria. Spirit of Oneness Pray for God s love to be perfected in us (1 John 4:12). Career Advancement Pray that we position ourselves for success by our actions of timeliness and hard work. Dominican Republic Mission Trip (Oct. 22 nd -27 th ) Pray for safe travel going and returning. Pray that the team is protected from germs and disease that may hinder them from serving. Pray that they will win many souls into the Kingdom. Pray that the leaders have clear words and boldness when they minister. Parking Lot, Ushers, And Greeters Ministries Pray that they will know they are appreciated. Pray that God will give them joy when serving. Pray that church attendees will respect these ministry positions. Pray for Deacons Reggie and Brian (the leaders over these ministries). Men s Fellowship Pray for an outpouring of the Holy Spirit to be released upon the men s fellowship. Pray that God would use the Men Ministry as a catalyst for transforming lives. Pray for revival in the heart of every man. Pray for unity and bonding. Morning Service/Guest Speaker Pray that God would divinely speak through our guest speaker. Holy Spirit to be omnipresent. Pray for a kingdom mindset for all partners. Pray for a stirring of our passion for the kingdom of God. Youth Ministry Pray for an increase in workers so groups can be divided appropriately by age. Pray that workers will commit to prayer and alone time with God in order to receive knowledge concerning the challenges of today s youth.

Pray that our youth would be distant from sexual immorality (1 Thessalonians 4:3). Pray that finances & resources will be provided by the people of God. Pray for Godly wisdom and discernment for the building committee. Pray that everyone who committed to giving a faith promise will honor it (Ecclesiastes 5:4). New Partners Pray that all partners will embrace and connect with new partners. Pray that they will embrace the discipline for becoming a partner. Pray that they will find their place in ministry. Pray for greater attendance in the Spiritual Life Process Classes. Official Board Meeting Pray that the Lord will reign over all decisions (Luke 1:33) Pray that God would reveal His will to our Pastor and the official board. Pray for God to release a positive optimistic mindset. Pray for keen discernment for all board members. Hallelujah Night Preparation Ask God to release the laborers for all teams. Pray for our drama and games preparation. Pray for team leaders to solidify their team. Pray that we receive favor from the community in raising or obtaining gifts. Hallelujah Night Bind all Halloween and demonic activity on this night. Pray that God will bring illumination, revelation and truths about Halloween. Pray that unchurch, unsaved and uncommitted will attend this event. Pray that our plans will succeed.
