2 WHAT IS FAITH Hebrews 11:1 Faith is the substance of things hoped for, the evidence of things not seen. Faith is the established proof of things that we have not yet seen happen but that will surely happen based on everything we know and have learned.

3 FAITH PLEASES GOD Hebrews 11:6 Without faith it is impossible to please Him, for he who comes to God must believe that He is, and that He is a rewarder of those who diligently seek Him. Faith is Knowing that We Receive a Reward for Seeking God.

4 WHO SEEKS GOD Somebody who Wants to Learn the Truth and Wants to Be Instructed by God. Such is a Disciple! Disciple: from the Greek Mathētēs A Learner, a Student, a Pupil, One who Seeks Knowledge and Understanding.

5 WHO IS A DISCIPLE Luke 14:26,27,33 If anyone comes to Me and does not hate his father and mother, wife and children, brothers and sisters, yes, and his own life also, he cannot be My disciple. And whoever does not bear his cross and come after Me cannot be My disciple. So likewise, whoever of you does not forsake all that he has cannot be My disciple.

6 SO WHO IS A DISCIPLE A True Disciple is Someone who Gives Up Everything that his Life was like before: Religion, Traditions, Culture and Sins A True Disciple lives 100% for the Teachings of his Master and Applies Them All to his Daily Life A True Disciple Gives 100% of his Life to God and Renounces Everything that is Contrary to God s Law

7 A DISCIPLE HAS FAITH When You Believe Something, YOU DO IT! If you believe that a wool sweater keeps you warm, you will wear it when it s cold. BECAUSE YOU DO WHAT YOU BELIEVE! Applying to your Life What you Learn Makes You a Believing Disciple a Disciple who Has Faith!

8 GIVING UP SIN Giving Up Sin is to Believe. In other words TO HAVE FAITH! Repentance is Faith! Faith that, when We Give Up Sin, what We will Find will Be Better.

9 EXAMPLES OF FAITH 2 Corinthians 13:2,5 I write to those who have sinned before, and to all the rest, that if I come again I will not spare. Examine yourselves as to whether you are in the faith. Test yourselves... Faith is Examining our Heart and Repenting of Sin.

10 EXAMPLES OF FAITH Acts 20:20-21 I kept back nothing that was helpful, but proclaimed it to you, and taught you publicly and from house to house, Testifying both to the Jews, and also to the Greeks, repentance toward God, and faith toward our Lord Jesus Christ. Paul taught Repentance toward God, and Faith toward Jesus.

11 EXAMPLES OF FAITH Luke 5:20 And when he saw their faith, he said to him: Man, your sins are forgiven you. Again, Believing is Repenting of Sin.

12 TRUE FAITH IN ACTION Acts 14:9 This man heard Paul speaking. Paul, observing him intently and seeing that he had faith to be healed, said with a loud voice, Stand up straight on your feet! And he leaped and walked. His Faith and Repentance of Sin Made Him Eligible for Healing.

13 TRUE FAITH IN ACTION Matthew 9:22 Jesus turned around, and when He saw her He said, Be of good cheer, daughter; your faith has made you well. And the woman was made well from that hour. Her Faith and Repentance of Sin Qualified Her for Instant Healing.

14 FAITH HEALING Faith Healing, as taught in the church today, has become Wishing and Convincing Yourself that you are healed, when in fact you are sick. This False Doctrine teaches that if you think that you are healed, then you will soon be healed. It denies the reality that you are sick. This Faith Healing Does NOT Work! This Faith Healing Is A Lie!

15 TRUE FAITH HEALING True Faith Healing, as taught in the Word of God, is based on taking responsibility for what has made you sick. The Bible teaches that sickness and disease come from sin that we have committed or that others have committed against us breaking our heart. Dealing with the root causes of sickness and disease in knowledge and through ministry brings healing. Only This Faith Healing Works!
