2 The Spirit is With Us. Exodus 33:14-15! The LORD replied, I will personally go with you, Moses, and I will give you rest everything will be fine for you. Then Moses said, If you don t 15 personally go with us, don t make us leave this place.!

3 The Spirit is With Us. Isaiah 11: 1-2! Out of the stump of David s will grow a familyfn shoot yes, a new Branch bearing fruit from the old root. 2 And the Spirit of the LORD will rest on him! the Spirit of wisdom and understanding, the Spirit of counsel and might, the Spirit of knowledge and the fear of the LORD

4 Joshua 1: 1-2! After the death of Moses the servant of the LORD, it came to pass that the LORD spoke to Joshua the son of Nun, Moses assistant, saying: 2 Moses My servant is dead. Now therefore, arise, go over this Jordan, you and all this people, to the land which I am giving to them the children of Israel.

5 The Promise of Possession and Presence. Joshua 1:3! Every place that the sole of your foot will tread upon I have given you, as I said to Moses.

6 Life is for Living with the Spirit of God. Whatever and where ever! Ecclesiastes 9:10! Whatever your hand finds to do, do it with your might; for there is no work or device or knowledge or wisdom in the grave where you are going.

7 Joshua s Instructions. Joshua 1:95 Have I not commanded you? Be strong and of good courage; do not be afraid, nor be dismayed, for the LORD, your God is with you wherever you go.

8 I can t possess the Land unless the Presence of Lord Possesses Me!

9 This really is the question of Ownership and Control.! Who controls my life is the one who owns me.

10 Jesus Owns Me! I belong to God!

11 Bought with Price 1 Corinthians 6:18-20!! 18 Flee sexual immorality. Every sin that a man does is outside the body, but he who commits sexual immorality sins against his own body. 19 Or do you not know that your body is the temple of the Holy Spirit who is in you, whom you have from God, and you are not your own? 20 For you were bought at a price; therefore glorify God in your body and in your spirit, which are God s.

12 A People Belonging to God. 1 Peter 2:9-12! But you are a chosen people, a royal priesthood, a holy nation, God s special possession, that you may declare the praises of him who called you out of darkness into his wonderful light. (NIV) 10 who once were not a people but are now the people of God, who had not obtained mercy but now have obtained mercy.

13 A People Belonging to God. 11 Beloved, I beg you as sojourners and pilgrims, abstain from fleshly lusts which war against the soul, 12 having your conduct honorable among the Gentiles, that when they speak against you as evildoers, they may, by your good works which they observe, glorify God in the day of visitation.

14 The Question is Who s in Control. If we accept that God owns us, then he owns the moment and the moment belongs to Him because He owns us.

15 Counting the Cost of Ownership Luke 14:25:ff! Now great multitudes went with Him. And He turned and said to them, 26 If anyone comes to Me and does not hate his father and mother, wife and children, brothers and sisters, yes, and his own life also, he cannot be My disciple.

16 Counting the Cost of Ownership 27 And whoever does not bear his cross and come after Me cannot be My disciple. 28 For which of you, intending to build a tower, does not sit down first and count the cost, whether he has enough to finish it 29 lest, after he has laid the foundation, and is not able to finish, all who see it begin to mock him, 30 saying, This man began to build and was not able to finish. 31

17 Counting the Cost of Ownership 31 Or what king, going to make war against another king, does not sit down first and consider whether he is able with ten thousand to meet him who comes against him with twenty thousand? 32 Or else, while the other is still a great way off, he sends a delegation and asks conditions of peace. 33 So likewise, whoever of you does not forsake all that he has cannot be My disciple.!

18 Seize the Moment for God. Romans 8: 31-39! What then shall we say to these things? 31 If God is for us, who can be against us? He who did not spare His own Son, but 32 delivered Him up for us all, how shall He not with Him also freely give us all things? 33 Who shall bring a charge against God s elect?

19 Seize the Moment for God. Romans 8: 31-39!! Yet in all these things we are more than conquerors through Him who loved us. 38 For I am persuaded that neither death nor life, nor angels nor principalities nor powers, nor things present nor things to come, 39 nor height nor depth, nor any other created thing, shall be able to separate us from the love of God which is in Christ Jesus our Lord.
