2 Staff Transitions 2 Conor Hughes, Director of Worship, and Assistant Youth Director, submitted his resignation, effective March 16 th, His last weekend leading worship will be March 4 th & 5 th. We give thanks to Conor for his three-plus years serving Alleluia! in our worship and youth ministries. Please watch for information about a reception on the evening of March 12 th to say thank you and farewell to Conor & Cece. DEAR FRIENDS News & Notes from Pastor Tim THE SEASON OF LENT BEGINS IN MARCH Our Lenten theme this year is Broken. This 5-week series will focus on the reality that the world, the creation, and we ourselves are all broken. However, God has done something about the brokenness by sending a Savior, Jesus Christ, to heal the brokenness. Lent is a time of self-reflection a time to embrace our brokenness due to sin, and to find the cross of Jesus in the brokenness for new life! I hope you will make worship a priority during Lent. RESPONSE TO THE RESIGNATIONS OF CONOR & CECE HUGHES I d like to share my heart with you, and a few thoughts, about the respective resignations of Conor & Cece Hughes. First, please know a separate communication is going out to all members with information about the way forward for this amazing church, in both our worship and our youth ministries so please look for that communication in your . Next, please know that Conor and Cece have prayed about their decision, and trust that God is leading them in this new direction. As a church, we need to embrace this call on their lives, pray for them as they transition away, and pray for our church as we now look to God to lead new staff to our church family. I want to thank Conor, for his ministry over the last three-plus years in leading worship; as well as the impact he has had on the lives of our youth in his role as Assistant Youth Director. I want to thank Cece, for her three-plus years of volunteering in worship and youth ministries, as well as her recent staff positions as Assistant Youth Director, as well as Bell Choir Director. Our lives have been blessed by Conor and Cece Hughes, and they will be deeply missed. May God bless them and keep them in their new ministry calls. Please take the time to thank both of them, and lift them up in your prayers. Grace & Peace, Pastor Tim Housholder
