2 From There to Eternity Introduction: From There to Eternity What does it mean to go From There to Eternity? The following lessons are a journey that I will show you how I went from A Place Called There. The starting point for me, if you will, it was a place where everything just seems to keep piling up on me and it felt like my life was just crumbling down around me and worst of all I just flat out became indifferent until nothing seemed to matter anymore. My life became unmanageable and was spiraling out of control. It is a dangerous place for me to be without the Lord. I call it my Coming to Jesus Moment, but here or There is the place where my new journey began, when I made a decision to let go and let God, now I was on my way to Eternity now this is the eternal life: John 17:3 Amplified Bible (AMP) 3 And this is eternal life: [it means] to know (to perceive, recognize, become acquainted with, and understand) You, the only true and real God, and [likewise] to know Him, Jesus [as the] Christ (the Anointed One, the Messiah), Whom You have sent. Living like Eternity matters, is living a blessed life and being a blessing to others, because you now know and have a revelation of who God is and His Love for you. You also understand who Jesus His son is and why He has been sent. It is from this revelation that I finally said to myself what happened?, How could I have lost everything? then I started to understand Gods roll in my life and my true identity in Christ finally started to become real to me. This is when my life started to resemble the abundant life Jesus talks about in this scripture. John 10:10 King James Version (KJV) 10 The thief cometh not, but for to steal, and to kill, and to destroy: I am come that they might have life, and that they might have it more abundantly. What does the tagline of this book mean? Only God Can Unscramble Eggs ; was a statement I first heard during a question and answer session by Wendell Parr who was a Charis Bible College instructor and our guest speaker, teaching live in my Jacksonville CBC class of I asked a question about church unity and how it seemed impossible to me that we could ever hope to see that come to pass. His response was something like this, allow me to Parr-a-phrase here; we as a body of Christ had made a pretty good mess out of the church but that God would have to unscramble those eggs. Well that response really spoke to me in the spirit about the reconciliation work that would have to be done in my life. My life had taken all kinds of turns since becoming an adult 1 P age

3 and I d realized through that statement I would definitely need that kind of Godly intervention to fix the mess I made of things, unscrambling eggs was what I needed and I was no way capable but for God: Luke 1:37 King James Version (KJV) 37 For with God nothing shall be impossible. How do I get there from here? Matthew 7:13-14 Amplified Bible (AMP) 13 Enter through the narrow gate; for wide is the gate and spacious and broad is the way that leads away to destruction, and many are those who are entering through it. 14 But the gate is narrow (contracted by pressure) and the way is straitened and compressed that leads away to life, and few are those who find it. The key here is not to get lost by wandering around aimlessly in the world but to place your focus on Jesus and you will eventually make that b-line to your personal revelation that will lead you on the path to your personal testimony. This book is broken out into lessons, which I will use to share my path, However we re all individuals with a specific very unique path to follow: Ephesians 2:10 Amplified Bible (AMP) 10 For we are God s [own] handiwork (His workmanship), recreated in Christ Jesus, [born anew] that we may do those good works which God predestined (planned beforehand) for us [taking paths which He prepared ahead of time], that we should walk in them [living the good life which He prearranged and made ready for us to live]. For this reason yours will be different in many ways but with faith and trust in God we will all end up on that same path towards Jesus as He is the only Way for all of us. It is Jesus or The Word which is Spirit that we will be focusing our Souls on thus leading us by faith, the faith of Jesus, which gives us direction to walk-in and the power to overcome everything that this world can throw at us! What can I expect from this Study? It is my intention to instill a new level of hope and a desire to learn more about how God can and will effectually improve all of your circumstances as we partake from the tree of life: Proverbs 13:12 King James Version (KJV) 12 Hope deferred maketh the heart sick: but when the desire cometh, it is a tree of life. 2 P age

4 The biggest impact on your life and primary purpose of this study is to bring transformation and restoration to everything that has been destroyed by what I call Stinkin Thinkin. As you get a mental assent of all these ideas and scriptures you will begin to, as the bible says, renew your mind this is the key to an exchanged or transformed life, here s how Paul says it in Romans: Romans 12:2 King James Version (KJV) 2 And be not conformed to this world: but be ye transformed by the renewing of your mind, that ye may prove what is that good, and acceptable, and perfect, will of God. I trust that what will happen as you recognize and understand God s true nature, you ll develop an actual relationship with Him, then you will be able to understand and differentiate between religion and relationship. The goal is to see this in your heart and taste for yourself the difference: Psalm 34:8 Amplified Bible (AMP) 8 O taste and see that the Lord [our God] is good! Blessed (happy, fortunate, to be envied) is the man who trusts and takes refuge in Him. No matter what the world has sent your way God can unscramble eggs, you ll get to read how He has changed everything in my life for the better, just as I know He will for your life. I mentioned that in (Luke 1:37) nothing is impossible with God and that we must trust in the Word, because he also says that His word will never return to us void: Isaiah 55:11 King James Version (KJV) 11 So shall my word be that goeth forth out of my mouth: it shall not return unto me void, but it shall accomplish that which I please, and it shall prosper in the thing whereto I sent it. It is my prayer for you to see and understand how your circumstances can never be too much for God to handle and that if He can do it for me He can and promises that He can do it for you, for God is no respecter of persons: Acts 10:34 King James Version (KJV) 34 Then Peter opened his mouth, and said, Of a truth I perceive that God is no respecter of persons: You ll recognize that the Word in this workbook is for you personally, to build your faith on expectantly and know beyond a shadow of a doubt, in other words being enlightened : Ephesians 1:18 New King James Version (NKJV) 18 the eyes of your understanding being enlightened; that you may know what is the hope of His calling, what are the riches of the glory of His inheritance in the saints, 3 P age

5 For these promises or inheritance s you will be compelled to do whatever it takes to walk out your specific path, calling and salvation. Philippians 2:12 Amplified Bible (AMP) 12 So then, my dear ones, just as you have always obeyed [my instructions with enthusiasm], not only in my presence, but now much more in my absence, continue to work out your salvation [that is, cultivate it, bring it to full effect, actively pursue spiritual maturity] with awe-inspired fear and trembling [using serious caution and critical self-evaluation to avoid anything that might offend God or discredit the name of Christ]. Growing in the confidence of the truth, you will receive every good thing that God has planned for you and won t be amazed at how effortlessly in Christ, He unscrambles all the eggs you ve scrambled in your life, Amen! 4 P age
