I pray that the peace & mercy from our Father God, King Jesus & the Holy Spirit flows into each of your lives. To truly feel God s love for us we need to acknowledge Him, worship Him, praise Him, honor Him, & then earnestly seek Him & call out to Him for our hearts to receive Him, James 4:8 draw nearer to God &d He will draw nearer to you. Psalm 46:10 Be still, & know that I am God. I will be exalted among the nations, I will be exalted in the earth!.. Jer 29: For I know the thoughts that I think toward you, says the Lord, thoughts of peace & not of evil, to give you a future & a hope. Then you will call upon Me & go & pray to Me & I will listen to you. And you will seek Me & find Me, when you search for Me with all your heart. Jer 33:3 Call to Me & I will answer you & tell you great & unsearchable things you do not know. Matt 7:7,9 Ask & it will be given to you; seek & you will find; knock & the door will be opened to you. For everyone who asks receives; he who seeks finds & to him who knocks; the door will be opened. We must have right motives with God in mind when we ask. James 4:2,3 - You do not have because you do not ask. You ask & do not receive because you ask with wrong motives. Understand as believers that the Holy Spirit already dwells inside of you; allow Him to fill your soul completely. Romans 8: you are not in the flesh but in the Spirit, if indeed the Spirit of God dwells in you. But if anyone does not have the Spirit of Christ, he does not belong to Him. If Christ is in you, though the body is dead because of sin, yet the spirit is alive because of righteousness. But if the Spirit of Him who raised Jesus from the dead dwells in you, He who raised Christ Jesus from the dead will also give life to your mortal bodies thru His Spirit who dwells in you. God s Spirit can fill you to overflowing with the fruits of the Spirit. Galatians 5: 22,23 - love, joy, peace, patience, kindness, goodness, faithfulness, gentleness, & self-control. David must have felt this overflowing of God s Spirit when he wrote the 23 rd Psalm as he talked about his cup overflowing & the goodness & mercy from God that would follow him all the days of his life. The Hebrew word hesed pronounced kheh sed defines God s mercy as lovingkindness, steadfastness, & righteousness. Thru God s mercy He meets the needs of us in many ways. He delivered His people, as well as us today, from enemies as recorded in the Bible from Genesis to Revelation. As a Christian, even in our turmoil s He has delivered us from despair. 2 Cor 4:8-9 We are experiencing trouble on every side, but are not crushed; we are perplexed, but not driven to despair; we are persecuted, but not abandoned, we are knocked down, but not destroyed, always carrying around in our body the death of Jesus, so that the life of Jesus may also be made visible in our body. Psalm 40: 1-2 I waited patiently for the Lord to help me & He turned to me & heard my cry. He lifted me out of the pit of despair; out of the mud & the mire. He set my feet on solid ground & steadied me as I walked along. Thru Jesus love for us He has overcome the world & provided a way of escape in earthly temptations. John 16:33 I have told you all this so that you may have peace in me. Here on earth you will have many trials & sorrows. But take heart, because I have overcome the world. 2 THE BLOOD SACRIFICE FOR SINS How important was it that blood had to be shed for redemption of sins? Who shed the first blood & why? The first account in the Bible about blood being shed was in Genesis 3:21 The Lord God made garments of skin for Adam & his wife & clothed them. God spilled the blood of animals to provide skins to cover their shame resulting from their sin of not obeying Him. In Genesis chapter 3 God tells of everything that happened with the fall of man to sin when they disobeyed Him by eating from the Tree of Knowledge of Good & Bad. He also tells us of the consequences of their actions which affects us all today as well as the consequence that the devil & his demons will face. God tells us in Leviticus 17:11 For the life of the flesh is in the blood; & I have given it to you upon the altar to make an atonement for your souls; for it is the blood that makes an atonement for the soul. Hebrews 9:22 -..almost all things are by the law (the laws given to Moses for the remission of sins) purged with blood; & without shedding of blood is no remission. For believers, Jesus blood sacrifice was made once to redeem us all; no longer were animal sacrifices needed. Hebrews 9: Neither by the blood of goats & calves, but by His own blood He entered in once into the holy place having obtained eternal redemption (for us). For if the blood of bulls & of goats & the ashes of a heifer sprinkling the unclean, sanctified to the purifying of the flesh, then how much more shall the blood of Christ, Who thru the eternal Spirit offered Himself without spot to God, purge your conscience from dead works to serve the living God? 1 John 1:7 But if we walk in the light as He is in the light, we have fellowship one with another & the blood of Jesus Christ, His Son, cleanses us from all sin. How powerful is the blood sacrifice of Christ? VERY powerful! Romans 5:9 Much more then being now justified by His blood, we shall be saved from wrath thru Him. We will be saved from the wrath of God as the end of the church age happens & the great tribulation begins. 1 Thes 1:10 -.wait for His Son from heaven, Whom He raised from the dead, that is Jesus who rescues us form the wrath to come. 1 Thes 5:9,10 For God has not destined us for wrath, but for obtaining salvation thru our Lord Jesus Christ, Who died for us so that whether we are awake or asleep, we will live together with Him. From the first blood sacrifice by God, to the last blood sacrifice by God thru Jesus Christ sins have been atoned for & forgiven by our merciful Father in Heaven. Thank you, Jesus! TEMPTATIONS - TRIALS - TRIBULATIONS *Temptation Biblically speaking is the luring toward sin. Make no mistake, temptations do NOT come from God. James 1:13-15 Let no one say when he is tempted, I am being tempted by God, for God cannot be tempted by evil & He Himself does not tempt anyone. But each one is tempted when he is carried away & enticed by his own lust. Then when lust has conceived, it gives birth to sin & when sin is accomplished, it brings forth death. God steps in knowing our human frailty towards sin & knowing the devil is constantly luring us with various temptations. However, He has given us a provision for escape of temptation s hold. 1 Corinthians 10:13 No temptation has overtaken you that is not common to man. God is faithful, & He will not let you be tempted beyond your ability, but with the temptation He will also provide the way of escape, that you may be able to endure it. *Trials are times of difficulty or persecution which Christians must endure. Generally, we humans cause them ourselves by making bad decisions. Such trials are allowed by God for the purpose of strengthening faith & character & learning to go to Him for guidance. James 1: 2-4 Consider it all joy, my brethren, when you encounter various trials knowing that the testing of your faith produces endurance. And let endurance have its perfect result, so that you may be perfect & complete lacking in nothing. *Tribulations are extended times of suffering or persecution. Paul tells us in Romans 5:1-5 Therefore, having been justified by faith we have peace with God thru our Lord Jesus Christ, thru Whom also we have obtained our introduction by faith into this grace in which we stand; & we exult in hope of the glory of God. And not only this, but we also exult in our tribulations knowing that tribulation brings about perseverance & perseverance, proven character & proven character, hope & hope does not disappoint, because the love of God has been poured out within our hearts thru the Holy Spirit Who was given to us. Jesus said: John 16:33 These things I have spoken to you so that in Me you may have peace. In the world you have tribulation, but take courage; I have overcome the world. With God, we persevere, conquer & win! Praise God! Thank you, Jesus for the ability to share this information with my brothers & sisters. Mary Bowden

Empty shells & blood lined the gutters of the streets. Men were shot down for the sake of fun or just to hear the roar of their forty-four guns. C. Now I m a widow & I weep by his grave. My tears flow free for my man I couldn t save. Shot down in cold blood by a gun that carried fame. All for a useless & not good worthless claim. C.
