4 Habakkuk 1:1-4, 2:1-4 1 The oracle that Habakkuk the prophet saw. 2 O Lord, how long shall I cry for help, and you will not hear? Or cry to you Violence! and you will not save? 3 Why do you make me see iniquity, and why do you idly look at wrong? Destruction and violence are before me; strife and contention arise. 4 So the law is paralyzed, and justice never goes forth. For the wicked surround the righteous; so justice goes forth perverted. 2 I will take my stand at my watch post and station myself on the tower, and look out to see what he will say to me, and what I will answer concerning my complaint. 2 And the Lord answered me: Write the vision; make it plain on tablets, so he may run who reads it. 3 For still the vision awaits its appointed time; it hastens to the end it will not lie. If it seems slow, wait for it; it will surely come; it will not delay. 4 Behold, his soul is puffed up; it is not upright within him, but the righteous shall live by his faith. And if I have defrauded anyone of anything, I restore it fourfold. 9 And Jesus said to him, Today salvation has come to this house, since he also is a son of Abraham. 10 For the Son of Man came to seek and to save the lost.

6 ANNOUNCEMENTS The yellow rose on last week s altar was in honor of Samantha Nicole, born October 1, 2016 in Honduras to Christine Bell Maradiaga and her husband, Orvin. Samantha is Margie and Danny Bell s granddaughter. WoG Youth purchased $ in toys for the nursery at Journey Church on Oct 23. The remaining money will be sent to the church on a Visa gift card. Thanks to all the WoG family for their support. Remember to fall backward one hour on Sunday, November 6, for Daylight Savings Time. It s Operation Christmas Child time again! We will be collecting shoeboxes through Nov 13 and will be assisting in the Atlanta OCC Processing Center on select dates. Please be sure to choose a drawstring bag to put in each box you pack. Bags are available in a box in the Sanctuary.
