4 The AbyWEST Campaign Moves Forward The AbyWEST in 24 Mo! Campaign is well underway. We are very grateful to the membership for their support of our effort to build a $12MM educational center. Following our initial appeal, more than 40% of our members responded to the plea to make a supporting pledge. We are making progress toward the achievement of our goal to raise $3mm in 24 months. This same principle applies in the spiritual kingdom for believers in Jesus Christ. If we do not have the means to spiritually defend ourselves through the power of prayer, we become prey. This course will explore the biblical tools God has provided believers through defensive prayer to stand strong in our faith and offensive prayers to take charge of our lives. 10 On Friday, February 19, 2016 at 6:00 PM, The Abyssinian Youth Ministry will host its very first NIGHT AT THE MUSEUM for youth ages This sleepover event takes place at New York City s American Museum of Natural History. The night will be filled with scavenger hunts, IMAX films, and interactive history lessons, so bring your sleeping bag! Parent pick-up starts promptly at 8:30 AM on Saturday, February 20 th.
