Pastor Chris says I heard a nine-year-old boy say, I began speaking in tongues when I couldn t preach the Word of God to my classmates at school. He said, When I started speaking in tongues, I became bold. Then when I went to school, I preached to all my mates. Age has nothing to do with it; this was a nineyear-old boy speaking in tongues. There s no limitation to what the Spirit of God can do in your life today if you would spend some quality time to speak in other tongues. He s not a respecter of persons; what He s done for one, He ll do for another under the same circumstances. - Culled from The Power Of Tongues

Monday, May 1 T O THE BIBLE FAITH, HOPE, AND LOVE! (Three Principles To Live By) 1 C orinthians 13:13 JMNT For these three things are abiding, faith, and hope, and love; but the greatest of these is love. LET S TALK Faith, hope, and love are three great principles revealed to us in the Word. First, hope is the picture of the thing you desire, which you see afar off; it s that flicker of light on the horizon on which you fix your gaze. Many things may try to deter you from seeing the picture, but never let it go. If, for some reason, the picture gets blurry and you don t see it anymore, get into prayer and confession of the Word to regain that vision. Once you can see the picture, the next thing to do is to take action! It s one thing to look at the picture far away, it s another thing to take possession of it and bring it into the NOW of your life. And you do that by faith! Faith is taking possession of the picture you see afar off through your confessions. The Bible says, NOW FAITH is the assurance (the confirmation, the title deed) of the things [we] hope for, being the proof of things [we] do not see and the conviction of their reality [faith perceiving as real fact what is not revealed to the senses] (Hebrews 11:1 AMPC). Hope says, It will be mine, but faith says, I have it right NOW!

The third of these principles is love, and according to the Bible, it s the greatest of the three. Your hope will not disappoint you because the love of God has been shed abroad in your heart by the Holy Spirit (Romans 5:5). Also, your walk of love secures faith in your heart, for the Bible says faith works by love (Galatians 5:6). Without love your faith would not work. Love binds all things together in perfect unity (Colossians 3:14 GNB); it never fails and it s for all time. Go Deeper 1 Thessalonians 1:3; 1 Thessalonians 5:8 Speak I m not of this world; I function with the higher principles of life in Zion; the principles of faith, hope and love! My faith is perfected today as I walk in love, with hope as an anchor for my soul! And above all, I put on love and envelop myself with the love of God, which binds everything together completely in ideal harmony. Daily Bible Reading ONE YEAR Luke 24:13-35, 2 Samuel 9-11 TWO YEAR 1 Corinthians 2:1-11, Psalm Act What are your hopes today? 10 Tuesday, May 2 T O THE BIBLE NO PUNISHMENT FOR YOU 2 Corinthians 5:19 TLB For God was in Christ, restoring the world to himself, no longer counting men s sins against them but blotting them out. This is the wonderful message he has given us to tell others. LET S TALK H (The Lord Is Not Angry With You!) ow can I get God to forgive me? What can I do to make God happy with me and love me? Charles mused, as he watched some other students stroll happily to Church. He thought God disliked him for his bad behaviour and self-destructive habits. Thus, he never attempted to get close to any Christian or go where God was mentioned. Thankfully, the day came when he was invited for a Church meeting, where he heard the wonderful truths of God s love for him, and he finally realised that God had never been angry with him. Perhaps you ve been thinking like Charles did or you know someone who does. Well, the Bible says God was in Christ, reconciling the world the world of sinners to Himself, not counting their trespasses against them. Even after all the terrible things I ve done? you say. Yes! The trespasses of everyone in the whole world (including yours) were laid on Jesus Christ. Today, no one should bear any punishment for his or her sins. Jesus already bore it all for them. Often, we unintentionally do or say the wrong things, but God has made provision for our automatic cleansing (1 John 1:7). He

gave no conditions for the cleansing; so you never have to worry about unknown sins in your life. 1 John 1:9 says, If we confess our sins, He is faithful and just to forgive us our sins and to cleanse us from all unrighteousness. Thus, after you re born again, if you do something wrong, and confess it to the Father, He s dependable and can be trusted to forgive you and cleanse you, not only from that sin, but from all unrighteousness; isn t that wonderful? He s not mad at you! He paid the full penalty for all your sins, both past, present, and future! Go Deeper John 1:29; Isaiah 53:1-5; 2 Corinthians 5:21 Pray Dear Father, I thank you for washing away my sins and cleansing me from all unrighteousness, thereby presenting me faultless, holy and unblameable before you in love in Jesus Name. Amen. Daily Bible Reading ONE YEAR Luke 24:36-53, 2 Samuel TWO YEAR 1 Corinthians 2:12-16, Psalm Act If you ve done something wrong before reading this message today, just say, Lord, I receive forgiveness for this wrong in Jesus Name, and know that He heard you. 12 Wednesday, May 3 T O THE BIBLE GOD WANTS EVERYONE SAVED Romans 1:16 CEV I am proud of the good news! It is God s powerful way of saving all people who have faith, whether they are Jews or Gentiles. LET S TALK (The Gospel Is God s Only Saving Power) The salvation of every person on earth is the most important thing on God s mind. He really cares about people, and that s the reason He gave His Son to be crucified for the sins of the world. Jesus came to mend broken hearts, heal the sick, give hope to the downcast, strengthen the weak and transform sinners into the righteousness of God. 2 Peter 3:9 says, The Lord isn t slow about keeping his promises, as some people think he is. In fact, God is patient, because he wants everyone to turn from sin and no one to be lost (CEV). He wants to have every man, woman, boy and girl come to the knowledge of His saving power, which is the Gospel of Christ. The opening Scripture says the Gospel is God s powerful way of saving all people who have faith, whether they are Jews or Gentiles (Romans 1:16 CEV). In other words, God can t rescue or help anyone without the Gospel; all of His power is wrapped up in it, and it works only for the one who believes. If you believe it, it ll certainly work for you!

The word salvation is a big one! It s the all-inclusive singular term that expresses everything that Christ did for us. Simply put, to be saved means that you ve received eternal-life, the all-conquering life of God! No longer are you subject to satan s authority; you re free from sickness, disease, infirmity or any form of bondage. Therefore, no matter what you re involved in, let soul winning be your passion. Identify your place wherever you are and reach out to those in your sphere of contact. Remember, the Gospel is God s only saving power. Go Deeper 2 Corinthians 5:17-21 Pray Dear heavenly Father, I thank you for my salvation. Not only do I enjoy the blessings of it; I m committed to spreading the news to those in my sphere of contact. I m impacting my world with the power of the Gospel, in Jesus Name! Amen. 14 Thursday, May 4 THE BLESSINGS OF GIVING T O THE BIBLE Psalm 37:25-26 I have been young, and now am old; yet I have not seen the righteous forsaken, nor his descendants begging bread. He is ever merciful, and lends; and his descendants are blessed. LET S TALK (The Rewards For Giving Are Numerous) I sowed a seed in church last week; why haven t I received my harvest yet? George wondered. He was in this particular train of thought all day, until he got the good news that his sister, who had been critically ill for a few months, had miraculously began to recover. He then realised that her recovery was connected to his giving in church! Sometimes, when people give to God, they want quick financial returns from Him. Yes, when you sow a financial seed, the Lord blesses and multiplies your seed sown, but never get discouraged or wonder if you did the right thing, if the harvest doesn t come the way you expected it would. Your blessings on financial giving don t necessarily have to be in the form of money. There are other blessings that God causes to take place in your life that you may not even know about. If only you knew what your giving to the Lord could do for you! It connects you and everything that concerns you with God s Spirit and gives you results that aren t only for today, but for tomorrow and for all

time. So, if you ve been giving, keep at it. If you haven t, start today. Each time you have the opportunity to give, be excited; for it means the Spirit of God is doing something in your life that will affect the course of your destiny. Give, and it will be given to you: good measure, pressed down, shaken together, and running over will be put into your bosom. For with the same measure that you use, it will be measured back to you (Luke 6:38). Go Deeper Proverbs 13:8; Psalm 112:1-2; 2 Corinthians 9:10 Pray Dear Father, thank you for giving me the opportunity to give and secure my future in you. As I sow my seeds in faith according to your Word, I expect a bountiful harvest of blessings and miracles both now, and in the days to come in Jesus Name. Amen. 16 Friday, May 5 T O THE BIBLE LEARN THE PRINCIPLES! (Get Trained In The Faith-Life) 1 Timothy 4:8 AMP C For physical training is of some value (useful for a little), but godliness (spiritual training) is useful and of value in everything and in every way, for it holds promise for the present life and also for the life which is to come. LET S TALK T he physical world is governed by principles, and it s the same way in God s spiritual Kingdom. To have the principles of God s Kingdom work for you, you ve got to learn and apply them. The principle of faith, for instance, is one you must constantly practise to have it operative in your life. Perhaps, when you started learning the Word of faith, you didn t quite get the kind of results you desired each time you demonstrated your faith. As with other things where we desire perfection, you ve got to keep training yourself in the faith-life. Keep learning more of God s Word, and soon you ll have a more productive faith-life. You can train your faith to accomplish anything. In the area of your academics, for instance, you can watch yourself grow from one level to another. Imagine if in acting your faith, you said you would pass all your eight papers with flying colours in the first semester of college, but you ended up passing six of them; don t feel bad. Instead, say Next time, I ll get it right. Then straightaway begin to study and meditate on the Word voraciously, and put

your faith to work at every opportunity. That way, you ll be training your faith to grow and accomplish bigger things. This is not only applicable to your academics, but to every area of life your finances, health, relationships etc. You can train your faith with the Word so much that you know, of a truth, that nothing is impossible for you. So keep growing your faith! Feed on the right spiritual materials. Take advantage of every opportunity to practise your faith, and not only will your faith grow rapidly and mightily, it will prevail against all odds and adversities of life. Go Deeper 1 Timothy 4:8; Hebrews 5:14 Speak My faith is working and producing results today! I refuse to remain at the lower levels of faith; rather, as I exercise my faith-muscles by learning, meditating on, and doing the Word, my faith grows rapidly and prevails. Hallelujah! 18 Saturday, May 6 THE AUTHORITY IS YOURS! T O THE BIBLE Deuteronomy 31:6 AMP C Be strong, courageous, and firm; fear not nor be in terror before them, for it is the Lord your God Who goes with you; He will not fail you or forsake you. LET S TALK (Never Permit Any Fear To Run Your Life) H ey, what was that sound?! Kelly quivered as her eyes widened in fright. She was scared to stay in her room all alone, especially when it was dark. She was a Christian but didn t know she had authority over the devil in Jesus Name. That s just like some people: they re afraid of dark places, and they nurse different phobias in their minds. The reason many live in fear of the devil is their ignorance of the scriptures, hence they arrogate too much power to the devil. As God s child, it s wrong for you to be afraid of anything. Throughout the scriptures, God repeatedly admonishes us not to fear. There is no reason whatsoever for any Christian to be afraid of the devil, for he s already defeated! In Matthew 28:18, Jesus said, I have been given all authority in heaven and earth (TLB). Notice He said all authority, not some authority, meaning there s none left for the devil. Satan has been completely paralysed and rendered helpless by Jesus! The Lord has dislodged and dispossessed him and all his cohorts of their powers! He stripped them of everything that s of value, leaving satan and his cohorts helpless. Having done that, He then paraded satan and his

demons as prisoners of war beaten, battered and disgraced! [God] disarmed the principalities and powers that were ranged against us and made a bold display and public example of them, in triumphing over them in Him and in it [the cross] (Colossians 2:15 AMPC). Then He gave you authority over them (Luke 10:19)! Do you now see why you must refuse to be harassed or tormented by fear of any kind? You ought to live in faith faith in God and in His Word, faith in the victory of Jesus over satan and the cohorts of darkness. That victory was for you. Go Deeper 1 John 3:8; James 4:7 Pray Dear Lord, your Word is in my heart and in my mouth today, producing faith in me and repelling every form of fear! Thank you for the courage, boldness and confidence your Word infuses into my spirit, as I meditate on and rejoice in it. Amen. Daily Bible Reading Act ONE YEAR John 3:1-21, 2 Samuel 22 TWO YEAR 1 Corinthians 4:11-21, Proverbs 2 Declare to yourself throughout today: I have been given all authority in Jesus Name, and I use it today to reign in my world. 20 Sunday, May 7 WALK WITH THE FATHER (The Key To Translational Power) T O THE BIBLE Hebrews 11:5 NASB By faith Enoch was taken up so that he would not see death; AND HE WAS NOT FOUND BECAUSE GOD TOOK HIM UP; for he obtained the witness that before his being taken up he was pleasing to God. LET S TALK Enoch had such a deep fellowship with the Lord that he was translated so he wouldn t see death. Death is not just the cessation of biological life; it represents poverty, defeat, sickness, failure or destruction. You can walk with the Spirit of God in such an intense fellowship that you enjoy His translational power over failure, poverty, defeat, sickness or any other thing the devil throws at you. The grace of the Lord Jesus Christ, and the love of God, and the communion of the Holy Spirit be with you all. Amen (2 Corinthians 13:14). The Greek word for communion is Koinonia. It expresses a very deep fellowship a drinking together with the Holy Spirit where He transports you from one level of glory to another, and puts you in a place of advantage over everything and every situation. As a child of God, your success in life is based on your walk with the Holy Spirit. Jeremiah 17:7-8 says, Blessed is the man who trusts in the Lord, and whose hope is the Lord. For he shall be like a tree planted by the waters, which spreads out its roots by the river, and will not fear when heat comes;

but its leaf will be green, and will not be anxious in the year of drought, nor will cease from yielding fruit. This Scripture is talking about a life that s not influenced by circumstances. It means the situation destroying others won t affect you in any way, because you re transported above them by the power of the Holy Spirit. This is God s plan for His children, and for you to experience such translational power in your life, you must walk very closely with the Holy Spirit. Go Deeper Job 22:29 KJV; 2 Corinthians 2:14 Pray Dear heavenly Father, in the Name of Jesus, I thank you for the efficacy of your Word. As I follow the leading of your Spirit and your Word in my life, I am programmed for a successful and victorious life. The glorious and winning life is my inheritance, and that is the life I m living. Glory to God! Daily Bible Reading ONE YEAR John 3:22-36, 2 Samuel TWO YEAR 1 Corinthians 5:1-13, Proverbs 3 Act Take out time today and talk to the Father: you can start by speaking in other tongues, worshipping Him and studying the Word. 22 7 FUN FACTS ABOUT JESUS THE MESSIAH 1. Did you know that King David composed a graphic portrayal of the crucifixion of Jesus Christ about 1000 years before it happened? While He was hanging on the cross, Jesus even quoted Psalm 22 to point out to everyone that the fact that His hands and feet would be pierced had been prophesied long ago. At the time this Psalm was written, crucifixion hadn t been invented yet. 2. Did you know that the prophet Isaiah prophesied incredible details about the life, suffering, death, burial and resurrection of Jesus the Messiah about 700 years in advance? Just check out Isaiah Did you know that the prophet Daniel prophesied that Jesus would be presented as Messiah and that he also prophesied that it would be BEFORE the Jewish temple was destroyed in 70 A.D.? He made these two prophecies more than 500 years in advance. Check them out in Daniel 9:24-27.

4. Did you know that there are more than 300 prophecies about the Messiah in the Old Testament scriptures that were fulfilled by Jesus Christ? Examples of these are in Deuteronomy 18:15, Psalm 24:7-10, Isaiah 7:14, Isaiah 9:6-7, Isaiah 53, Ezekiel 37:26-27, Jeremiah 31:15, Daniel 9:25-26, Micah 5:2, Zechariah 9:9 etc. 5. Did you know that the Bible does not say how many wise men came to see Jesus? The traditional number of three came about because three gifts are mentioned. Read Matthew Did you know that the name Jesus was given to Mary by an angel of God called Gabriel (Luke 1:26-31)? He also told Joseph that Mary was pregnant by the power of the Holy Spirit. Joseph was going to divorce Mary, but the angel told him not to do this, and to name the child Jesus. 7. Did you know that Jesus had 4 half-brothers? Their names are James, Joseph, Judas and Simon. The Lord Jesus also had sisters, but they are not named or numbered in the Bible.

Monday, May 8 T O THE BIBLE LOAD UP ON THE WORD Psalm 107:20 CEV By the power of his own word, he healed you and saved you from destruction. LET S TALK (God s Word Is All You Need) Today s Scripture lets us know that the Word of God heals and delivers. If you were sick and took time to meditate on the Word, the Word would produce healing in you. The Bible says in Proverbs 4:20-22, Give attention to my words; incline your ear to my sayings. Do not let them depart from your eyes; keep them in the midst of your heart; for they are life to those who find them, and health to all their flesh. The word translated health above is the Hebrew word marpe, which means medicine. The Word of God is medicine to your physical body; it will rejuvenate and revitalise you when you apply it to your life. The Word is alive and full of power; that means it s active, operative and effective. Hence, it doesn t matter what the case is, if you would hear the Word and accept it, it would produce in you and for you the desired results. The Word is not only the antidote for sickness and disease, it s also the perfect recipe for success and prosperity: This Book of the Law shall not depart from your mouth, but you shall meditate in it day and night, that you may observe to do

according to all that is written in it. For then you will make your way prosperous, and then you will have good success (Joshua 1:8). God has already sent His Word to address every situation you ll ever face in life. He has sent His Word for your healing, prosperity, and spiritual advancement. It s your responsibility to lay hold on His Word. The Word of God in your spirit and in your mouth will make you what it talks about. That s what you need to be all that God wants you to be, and experience the divine transformation that ll make you a wonder to your world. Go Deeper Isaiah 55:10-11 Pray Dear Father, I thank you for the power and ability of your Word to bring me health, prosperity and cause me to excel in all I do. 26 Tuesday, May 9 T O THE BIBLE IT S SUPER POWER! (You Can Do All Things By The Spirit!) Luke 4:14 JMNT And Jesus returned, in the power of the Spirit, to Galilee; and fame concerning him spread in all the region around them. LET S TALK When you re filled with the Spirit, you ll be full of power. You wouldn t need to muster boldness when challenges come your way; the Spirit of God will take charge of you, and you wouldn t see, talk or act like an ordinary man. To experience the power of the Holy Spirit in your life, you must be filled with Him constantly. Ephesians 5:18-20 (KJV) shows us the way to get ourselves filled with the Spirit:...Be filled with the Spirit; speaking to yourselves in psalms and hymns and spiritual songs, singing and making melody in your heart to the Lord; giving thanks always for all things unto God and the Father in the name of our Lord Jesus Christ. Jesus was constantly full of the power of the Spirit, and He was conscious of it (Acts 10:38). The Apostle Paul was also conscious of the power of the Spirit at work in him when he said, I can do all things through Christ who strengthens me (Philippians 4:13) and For this I labor striving with all the superhuman energy which He so mightily enkindles and works within me (Colossians 1:29 AMPC). This superhuman power is what you need to be an

effective witness for Christ. The tremendous miracles, signs and wonders done by the Lord and His apostles weren t recorded in the Bible just so we could read and marvel at what they did. They were written as examples for us, to inspire us and let us know we can do the same in our day through the power of the same Spirit. Hallelujah! Go Deeper Micah 3:8; Acts 1:8 Speak I can do all things by the power of the Spirit that s at work in me mightily! That power is active in me today, and is released into my world to bring about changes and transformation in the lives of men and women, in the Name of Jesus. 28 Wednesday, May 10 T O THE BIBLE END IT BEFORE YOU START IT! Isaiah 46:9-10 AMP C...I am God, and there is none like Me, declaring the end and the result from the beginning, and from ancient times the things that are not yet done, saying, My counsel shall stand, and I will do all My pleasure and purpose LET S TALK (Proclaim The End From The Beginning!) Jeff was exhilarated when he saw in his spirit the answer to his prayer he had received by faith the bike he had long wanted and spoke it forth in prophecy. I have it, in Jesus Name he announced, it s so real to me. Hey, how are you so sure what you saw was real? It s just your over-active imagination at work again? satan whispered. But Jeff remained resolute in his faith-proclamations. Then the day came when he was declared the winner in an essay competition, with the grand prize of a brand new redand-black Raleigh bicycle exactly what he had pictured and prophesied! When God s Word gets into you, it comes with the inherent ability to bless you, strengthen your faith and inspire you to do the extraordinary, while the challenges before you become insignificant. Despite signs of trouble on all sides, you develop the I-can-do mentality as the Word of God gains the dominion in your heart. As a Christian, you ve got the ability to see and declare the end-result of any matter from the beginning, just like your Heavenly Father. The Bible says God gives life to the

dead and calls those things which do not exist as though they did (Romans 4:17). He framed the worlds by His Word, so that the things we see today were not made of things which are visible (Hebrews 11:3). You ve been called to live the faith-life; the Bible says, For we walk by faith, not by sight (2 Corinthians 5:7). Now, faith means that you see the end-result of an issue from where you are, and then you speak it into existence. In other words, you picture the future according to the Word of God, and you proclaim it into being. Disregard the negative picture the devil may present to you; rather, focus on what God s Word says about you and picture yourself in it. Go Deeper Mark 11:23; 2 Corinthians 4:13 Speak I m unmoved by the schemes of the devil; my heart is focused on the Word of God. My faith is alive and working! 30 Thursday, May 11 WHY ARE YOU HERE? T O THE BIBLE Acts 26:16 Rise and stand on your feet; for I have appeared to you for this purpose, to make you a minister and a witness both of the things which you have seen and of the things which I will yet reveal to you. LET S TALK N (Live Your Life With Purpose) obody should tell me how to live my life; I just want to have fun and hang out with my friends. Is that really too much to ask for? Collins snapped angrily at his mum. I m not trying to stop you from enjoying your youth. I just want you to realise that there s a purpose to life and a time for everything. Live your life with a purpose, his mum gently admonished him. Reading this, you might want to ask, So what s my purpose? Why am I here? To find these answers, you ll first have to understand what purpose means. Purpose is an idea or aim kept in the mind as the goal towards which one s efforts are directed. It s a definite intention, the object or reason for which something exists or is done. In Collins case, he didn t understand what his purpose in life was; he thought it was all about self-gratification. But the Lord Jesus came to earth for a specific purpose, and He wasn t in doubt as to what that purpose was. In John 10:10 (NIV), He established His purpose: The thief comes only to steal and kill and destroy; I have come that they may have life, and have it to the full. He knew He didn t

just come to the world to live and die as a carpenter; His whole life was in pursuit of a purpose to save and give life to all men. In John 20:21 (NIV), He said,... Peace be with you! As the Father has sent me, I am sending you. This is now your life s purpose; you ve been sent to reach everyone with the Gospel of life. The day you gave your heart to Christ, He gave you His kind of thinking and made you a saviour, just like Him. So, let your whole life be in pursuit of this purpose; be passionate about God s Kingdom and its expansion to the ends of the earth. That way, your life will take on a whole new meaning. 32 Friday, May 12 T O THE BIBLE THINK LIKE GOD DOES (God Is A Spirit, And He Thinks Differently) Isaiah 55:9 NIV As the heavens are higher than the earth, so are my ways higher than your ways and my thoughts than your thoughts. LET S TALK This Scripture clearly reveals to us that God doesn t think like people do. He doesn t see the way men see or hear like they hear. He thinks differently. His Word or instructions to you may not make natural sense, but that s because He doesn t relate from the natural realm or standpoint. Take, for example, the account of Genesis 26. At a time of severe famine in Gerar, God instructed Isaac to remain where he was instead of fleeing to Egypt like everyone else around him. Genesis 26:12-14 records that...isaac sowed in that land, and reaped in the same year a hundredfold; and the Lord blessed him. The man began to prosper, and continued prospering until he became very prosperous; for he had possessions of flocks and possessions of herds and a great number of servants. So the Philistines envied him. Isaac prospered, made progress and became very great in a time of famine, just because he followed God s instruction. Maybe like Isaac, you ve found yourself in a place where everything seems dry. God wants you to know that you can still prosper where you are. Or perhaps you ve been

battling with sickness in your body; His reasoning is that you re the healed and not the sick (1 Peter 2:24). Accept this truth, and keep confessing your healing. Meditate on this truth, and, like Abraham, believe in the God who makes alive the dead, and start calling those things that are not as though they were (Romans 4:17). Let your reasoning be in sync with God s way of thinking; there re no impossibilities or limitations with God. That s the same mindset He wants you to have today and always. Go Deeper 1 Corinthians 1:27-29; Isaiah 11:3 Speak I have the mindset of the Word. I refuse to see limitations or impossibilities, for God s Word has inspired faith in me to be possibility-conscious, and to reason like Him! 34 Saturday, May 13 T O THE BIBLE THE GOSPEL: YOUR LIFE Acts 18:9-11 CEV One night, Paul had a vision, and in it the Lord said, Don t be afraid to keep on preaching. Don t stop! I am with you, and you won t be harmed. Many people in this city belong to me. Paul stayed on in Corinth for a year and a half, teaching God s message to the people. LET S TALK (Win Souls Into God s Kingdom) Reading this Scripture in Acts 18:9-11, we see how the Lord Jesus bolstered Paul s confidence and encouraged him to go on preaching the Gospel. He urged him not to stop or give in to intimidation while sharing the divine message with the Gentiles, assuring him that he wouldn t be hurt. It s clear that the most precious and influential people in the sight of God are soul winners. Aren t you glad you re a soul winner? As a soul winner, the Lord Himself is your defence; He protects you against evil and shields you from the attacks of the enemy. This assurance is why you should always make your life count in the Kingdom of God by reaching out to the lost. The Lord Jesus said to Paul, Do not be afraid, but speak, and do not keep silent; for I am with you, and no one will attack you to hurt you; for I have many people in this city (Acts 18:9-10). God has got super protection for your life as you go about His business of reaching the lost. No wonder He says seek first the Kingdom and its expansion and

all other things shall be added unto you (Matthew 6:33). Let everything you do in life result in Kingdom expansion. It doesn t matter who you are or where you are, be committed to the spread of the gospel. God needs you; He s kept you on this earth because He has a lot of people He wants to reach through you. Take the gospel to your world. Keep sharing the good news with those around you, and do it with courage, boldness and confidence! (1 Corinthians 9:16). 36 Sunday, May 14 PROSPER! T O THE BIBLE 2 Corinthians 8:9 For you know the grace of our Lord Jesus Christ, that though He was rich, yet for your sakes He became poor, that you through His poverty might become rich. LET S TALK (It s Your God-Ordained Right In Christ) 2 Corinthians 8:9 is your guarantee of a life of supernatural abundance. I ve often said that the Christian is not the poor trying to be rich, but the rich discovering his inestimable inheritance in Christ. There re Christians who don t believe in prosperity, but what we read in the Scripture above reveals that it s God s will for you to prosper. 3 John 1:2 says Beloved, I pray that you may prosper in all things and be in health, just as your soul prospers. Not only does God want you healthy and strong, He also wants you to prosper financially; it s your God-ordained right, for you re Abraham s seed. The Bible says Abraham was blessed in all things (Genesis 24:1); he was very rich in cattle, in silver, and in gold (Genesis 13:2). In today s language, it will be right to say he was super-rich. As the seed of Abraham, you also have been blessed and enriched in all things unto all bountifulness: And if you are Christ s, then you are Abraham s seed, and heirs according to the promise (Galatians 3:29). You re an heir of God, and a joint-heir with Christ; therefore, learn to talk big. Refuse to talk poverty. When you talk big, and things start happening for you, some people

especially the religious folks around you will grumble and raise eyebrows. Don t be moved by that. Just keep talking your way to abundance, and keep enjoying your prosperity in God. It s your God-ordained right in Christ Jesus, so don t let anyone deceive you. There s nothing too good for you, because you re the King s kid! Refuse to be broke. Make it a conscious confession as you live in the light of God s Word daily. Keep talking prosperity; and when you see a fellow brother or sister prospering, be happy and rejoice with him or her, for that s the life to which we ve been called as God s children. 40 Monday, May 15 T O THE BIBLE BE A PARTNER WITH THE LORD (Partnership God s Way Of Setting You Up For Greater Blessings) P hilippians 4:15 CEV My friends at Philippi, you remember what it was like when I started preaching the good news in Macedonia. After I left there, you were the only church that became my partner by giving blessings and by receiving them in return. LET S TALK The Bible tells us about a certain widow in Zarephath who was poor and had nothing, yet the Lord commanded her to take care of the prophet Elijah during the period of famine. Before meeting her, Elijah was being fed supernaturally by ravens that regularly brought him food, and he also drank from a brook (1 Kings 17:4). However, the brook dried up and the ravens stopped bringing him food. Then, God commanded him to go to the widow. By feeding the Prophet Elijah, the widow received her miracle: So she went away and did according to the word of Elijah; and she and he and her household ate for many days. The bin of flour was not used up, nor did the jar of oil run dry, according to the word of the Lord which He spoke by Elijah (1 Kings 17:15-16). Every opportunity you have to give to God is His way of setting you up for greater blessings. God doesn t ask you to give because He wants something from you, but because He s got something greater in store for you. Some have gotten frustrated because they had constantly

given of their time and resources to the Lord and to the work of the ministry, and to them, it seems the circumstances of their lives have not improved. If only they knew that through their giving, God was setting them up for a greater and more glorious future, they would rejoice! Not only did the Lord take care of the widow s immediate needs after she fed the prophet, He also took care of her future (Read 1 Kings 17:17-23). 42 Tuesday, May 16 ALL THE POWER YOU NEED T O THE BIBLE Acts 1:8 GNB But when the Holy Spirit comes upon you, you will be filled with power, and you will be witnesses for me in Jerusalem, in all of Judea and Samaria, and to the ends of the earth. LET S TALK (The Holy Spirit The True Power Giver) Many young people today seek power in all the wrong places. Some think it s in the cults they join or the various religions of the world. How sad! There s no power in such places. True power cannot be found outside of the Holy Spirit; He s the power of God! If you re born again, and have received the Holy Spirit into your life, then you ve received power; He is the power-giver. He imbues you with the divine enablement to accomplish any task and change any hopeless situation. The question is, have you been born again? Have you received the Holy Spirit? If you have, then you don t need any other power. You don t need to ask God for more power. The power-giver Himself lives in you. That means you can never be disadvantaged anymore. No wonder the Apostle Paul said, I have strength for all things in Christ Who empowers me [I am ready for anything and equal to anything through Him Who infuses inner strength into me; I am self-sufficient in Christ s sufficiency] (Philippians 4:13 AMPC), Hallelujah! He didn t say, O

God, please give me power and strength to do all things. He already had it! The power you need is the Holy Spirit. This is why it s compulsory for every Christian to receive the Holy Spirit. If you want the glory of God to be seen in your life, if you want to walk in dominion over the devil, sickness, disease, infirmity and death, then you must have the Holy Spirit. When you have Him, you have all the power you ll ever need to effect changes in your world. Go Deeper Micah 3:8; Ephesians 3:20 Speak Thank you, heavenly Father, for your precious Holy Spirit, who lives in me! 44 Wednesday, May 17 TESTIFY! (Your Testimony Makes Room For More Blessings In Your Life) T O THE BIBLE Revelation 12:11 And they overcame him by the blood of the Lamb and by the word of their testimony, and they did not love their lives to the death. LET S TALK Phil had just received a miracle in his body and he was so excited that he told everyone about it when he got to school. Larry, his friend, got concerned and asked him after a while, Why do you have to keep telling everyone what God did for you? Don t you think you re taking it a little too far? Well Larry, it s important that I testify of the Lord s goodness to me. That way I get to keep my miracle, Phil responded. Our opening Scripture says, And they overcame him by the blood of the Lamb and by the word of their testimony... (Revelation 12:11). If you don t testify of what the Lord has done for you, chances are you ll lose it. Your testimony endorses your miracle and creates room for you to receive more blessings from the Lord. Read the story of the woman with the issue of blood in Luke 8. It s a perfect example of how by openly testifying of what God has done for you, not only is your miracle established, but it also creates opportunity for more blessings (Luke 8:43-48). She got much more than healing; she was made whole because she testified openly.

It s the same thing with receiving salvation. Jesus Christ has saved the whole world through His death, and so, legally, every man, woman, boy and girl that ever came into this world, and that will ever come has been saved. But it s only the one who testifies of the Lordship of Jesus over him, believing that God raised Him from the dead, that is catapulted into salvation! Your testimony of Jesus as Lord of your life and Saviour of your soul activates the power of God that causes you to experience the vital reality of salvation. So, continue to testify that you re a Christian. Your testimony keeps you permanently above every satanic onslaught. Go Deeper Psalm 26:7; Mark 5:18-20; Romans 10:9-10 Pray Dear Father, I thank you for your many blessings in my life that I experience daily; thank you most of all for the wonderful salvation you wrought for me in Christ. 46 Thursday, May 18 CAN YOU TRUST THE LORD? T O THE BIBLE Psalm 125:1-2 Those who trust in the Lord are like Mount Zion, which cannot be moved, but abides forever. As the mountains surround Jerusalem, so the Lord surrounds His people from this time forth and forever. LET S TALK (God Is Dependable And Trustworthy) Trust in the Lord with all your heart; that s what the Bible says, and the way to trust in Him is to follow His Word. When you demonstrate faith in God s Word, you profess your trust in Him. To trust Him is to do what He says. God is worthy of your trust. In His Word you can see that He never exaggerates, neither does He lie. Whatever He says is absolute reality, and He never takes credit for what He didn t do. There re people who take glory for what they didn t do, but that s not God. That s not the nature of our heavenly Father. He tells you things the way they are; no ands, ifs or buts! If He says you have something, then you have it. If He says go, it means you have the ability to go! In the instruction He gives you lies the ability to carry it out. You must trust His Word at all times. God s Word is dependable. It s guaranteed to produce results. It will deliver your inheritance into your hands. When you trust in the Lord and in His eternal Word, nothing shakes you. It doesn t matter the news

that comes to you from afar, you ll be unperturbed. It doesn t matter the heat or hardship others may experience, like Isaac, you ll reap a multiplied harvest, flourish, make progress and prosper during famine and austere times (Genesis 26:13). 48 Friday, May 19 T O THE BIBLE REIGN AND RULE AS A KING (You Were Born To Reign In Righteousness) 1 Peter 2:9 NIV You are a chosen people, a royal priesthood, a holy nation, a people belonging to God, that you may declare the praises of him who called you out of darkness into his wonderful light. LET S TALK When you listen to the prayer content of some believers, you d discover that it s full of inconsistencies with their kingly office. They say things like O God, I m begging you to please help me out of this trouble. That s not the prayer language of the righteous. Never beg God to do anything for you, pray in accordance with His Word and make your decrees in the Name of Jesus. That s how to pray as a righteous king-priest unto God. Righteousness is God s nature, and that nature was imparted to you when you were born again. Isaiah 32:1 says, See, a king will reign in righteousness and rulers will rule with justice (NIV). Romans 5:17 NIV also says, For if, by the trespass of the one man, death reigned through that one man, how much more will those who receive God s abundant provision of grace and of the gift of righteousness reign in life through the one man, Jesus Christ. God has made us kings (Revelation 1:6) and we reign through righteousness. You shouldn t reason or talk as those of the world anymore. Don t tolerate or meditate on thoughts of fear, failure and defeat.

The consciousness of your righteousness will cause you to walk in dominion and speak with authority. Job 22:28 says You will also declare a thing, and it will be established for you; so light will shine on your ways. Kings don t beg; they subdue and take dominion. By virtue of the new life you have in Christ and your position as God s righteous kingpriest, refuse to talk failure or lack; boldly declare prosperity, health and progress for you and your loved ones, and you d see them come to pass! 50 Saturday, May 20 T O THE BIBLE UNPARALLELED LOVE John 3:16 CEV God loved the people of this world so much that he gave his only Son, so that everyone who has faith in him will have eternal life and never really die. LET S TALK (God Loves You SO Much!) John 3:16 is probably the most popular Bible verse in the world, but many haven t understood the power of that verse. What world did God love? Was it the hills and the mountains? It was none of these. He loved the world of human beings, as sinful and wicked as they were! It should amaze you that when Adam sinned back in the Garden, it was still God who came looking for him (Genesis 3). Adam was hiding from God, because he had sinned, yet God still covered his nakedness with animal skin, showing that he loved him. The Bible says, In this is love, not that we loved God, but that He loved us and sent His Son to be the propitiation for our sins (1 John 4:10). So clearly, God demonstrated His great and boundless love for us, while we were yet in sin. You may be reading this today and you re wondering, Can God possibly love someone like me? Emphatically yes! No matter what kind of life you may have lived, He wants you today. Now that you know how much God loved the world of sinners, think about how much more He loves those who are born of Him! The Bible says For if when we were

enemies we were reconciled to God through the death of His Son, much more, having been reconciled, we shall be saved by His life (Romans 5:10). If He loved the world of wicked men, He loves His kids even more. He does all the wonderful things He does for us not because of our good deeds, but because of how much He loves us! He didn t even wait for you to pray to Him and ask for your sins to be forgiven before He sent Jesus Christ to die for you. That s how much He loves you! Go Deeper 1 John 3:1; Romans 5:8; Jeremiah 31:3 Pray Thank you heavenly Father for your great love for me; my heart is established and rooted in your love, which indeed is higher than the mountains and deeper than the oceans! 52 Sunday, May 21 (You re More Than Blessed; You re A Blessing!) T O THE BIBLE Genesis 12:2-3 I will make you a great nation; I will bless you and make your name great; and you shall be a blessing. I will bless those who bless you, and I will curse him who curses you; and in you all the families of the earth shall be blessed. LET S TALK THE BLESSING PERSONIFIED If you re born again, you re more than a blessed boy or girl: you re actually a blessing. Not only did God bless Abraham, He also made him a blessing: I will make you a great nation; I will bless you and make your name great; and you shall be a blessing (Genesis 12:2). This didn t end with Abraham, for the Bible says, And if you are Christ s, then you are Abraham s seed, and heirs according to the promise (Galatians 3:29). To be in Christ means you re born again, thus all the blessings God endowed Abraham with are now your present-hour possession, making you a package of divine blessing. I would to God you d realise what a blessing you are as a Christian. No matter the health condition anyone may have for example, he or she could get healed just by touching you in faith. That s because you carry something inside you: But we have this treasure in earthen vessels, that the excellence of the power may be of God and not of us (2 Corinthians 4:7). The Bible says you re the temple of the Holy Ghost (1 Corinthians 3:16); that makes you the

embodiment of the fullness of the blessings of God. That s why it s a blessing in itself to all those who are acquainted with you; they re blessed, just for knowing you! Living daily with this consciousness will eradicate every sense of need or lack from your life. You shouldn t suffer or put up with sickness or live a beggarly life, for you ve been called to inherit a blessing. Live up to your calling. You re full of the blessings of God. There s no blessing in this world or in heaven that you should be asking God for, because all things are yours (1 Corinthians 3:21). Bask in superabundance! Go Deeper Galatians 3:7-9; 1 Peter 3:9 Speak Not only am I blessed, I m a package of blessings happening everywhere. 54 WORD SCOPE ACTIVATE To activate is to set off, trigger, set in motion, start, get going, stimulate or make active. It s an action word that requires you to do something in order to initiate another process or action. When you activate something you get it working. As revealed in the message on the 17th day of May, titled Testify! your testimony of Jesus as Lord of your life and Saviour of your soul activates the power of God that causes you to experience the vital reality of salvation. Everything you require to live the good life has been made available to you in Christ. What you need today is to know what God has done for you in Christ through the Word, and then activate trigger or set those blessings in motion; get them working in your life. The way to activate the blessings of God in your life is by recognising the presence of the Holy Spirit in you, and then talking right; talking the Word. The blessing is in the Word, and the principle is you shall have what you say (Mark 11:23). Consequently, as you fellowship the Spirit and then talk and live the Word, the results of God s blessing will be overwhelmingly evident in your life.

Monday, May 22 (Focus On The Result And Don t Vacillate) T O THE BIBLE Romans 4:19-21 GNB He was then almost one hundred years old; but his faith did not weaken when he thought of his body, which was already practically dead, or of the fact that Sarah could not have children. His faith did not leave him, and he did not doubt God s promise; his faith filled him with power, and he gave praise to God. He was absolutely sure that God would be able to do what he had promised. LET S TALK YOUR FAITH WILL BE TESTED Time tests faith. You can easily tell whether someone is walking in faith or in unbelief when he s pressed for time. When pressure builds after an expected process has refused to yield the desired result and you begin to vacillate, wondering whether or not you heard God right, that s unbelief, not faith. Many people unknowingly walk in unbelief every day, because they don t fully understand what it means to be unbelieving. To be unbelieving is to doubt the veracity and integrity of God s Word. Faith, on the other hand, doesn t doubt, no matter the circumstances; it s fully persuaded that what God has said is the absolute reality. Where unbelief starts fretting because of some delay, faith remains unshaken because it doesn t consider or think on the process. Rather, it focuses only on the results. The Lord Jesus in Mark 11:23 said, Truly I tell you, whoever says to this mountain, Be lifted up and thrown into the sea! And does not doubt at all in his heart

but believes that what he says will take place, it will be done for him (AMPC). It s not for you to wonder how the mountain will move into the sea after you ve commanded it to move. Yours is to focus on the result and refuse to vacillate; be fully persuaded that your confessions of faith will surely come to pass. 58 Tuesday, May 23 T O THE BIBLE SCREEN AND FILTER (Check The Thoughts That Come To Your Heart) Proverbs 23:7 AMP C For as he thinks in his heart, so is he LET S TALK Your mind is the door to your human spirit and whatever words and thoughts you allow to go through your mind, whether positive or negative will be deposited in your spirit. That s why you have to screen and filter what goes through the door of your heart. Filters are designed to allow only the desirable parts of a substance pass through, while the undesirable part is held back or discarded. Every day, we hear words, see things, and receive information, but you must mount guard over your heart; filter what goes through, such that your spirit will only receive and process the right information. Never allow your heart dwell on anything that s not consistent with the provisions of the gospel. For example, in these recent times of terror attacks, as reported in various parts of the world, a lot of information made the rounds of how many were caught up in bomb blasts, resulting in death and widespread destruction. As a child of God, you shouldn t let such news into your heart to create fear in you. Simply say, That s not for me. I dwell in the secret place of the Most High. Therefore, I m far from oppression; because I do not fear. I m far from terror; because it does not come near me

(read Psalm 91:1 and Isaiah 54:14). Use the Word of God as a filter to stop contrary information from getting into your heart. Whatever life you re living today is the result of the thoughts you allowed into your heart, and the words that came out of you as a result. The thoughts you allow give rise to the words you speak. Let God s Word transform you inwardly by a complete change of your mind (Romans 12:2 GNB). That transformation begins with your thought pattern; filter your thoughts. Think success, victory, health, prosperity, happiness and fulfilment only. Go Deeper Proverbs 4:23; Philippians 4:8; Romans 12:2 Pray Dear Father, thank you for your Word that renews my mind and transforms my life, giving me the right outlook on life. 60 Wednesday, May 24 T O THE BIBLE HOROSCOPY NOT FOR YOU! (Be Guided By God s Word And Not By Horoscopes) Isaiah 47:14-15 CEV People who trust the stars are as helpless as straw in a flaming fire. No one can even keep warm, sitting by a fire that feeds only on straw. These are the fortunetellers you have done business with all of your life. But they don t know where they are going, and they can t save you. LET S TALK There are Christians who see nothing wrong with the use of astrological predictions or the horoscope for their daily living. They regularly look up their stars on magazine and newspaper pages instead of paying attention to God s Word. This is very wrong! Our opening Scripture shows God s attitude to astrology. He made it clear that the astrologers, stargazers and fortune tellers wouldn t be able to save the Jews from the wrath that was imminent on them at the time. Same thing today: you can t receive any true guidance for your life through astrology. Astrologers are those who study the arrangements of the celestial bodies the various planets and use them to foretell the future. Astrologers actually rob those who patronise them of their relationship with the Spirit of God. As a child of God, your life is not controlled by the planetary arrangements; your life and future are in God. When you study the scriptures, you d observe that God gave prophets to the children of Israel in the Old Testament to

give them revelations through the Holy Spirit and through His Word. He leads and guides us today through His Word and His Spirit that lives in us, not through the horoscope. He doesn t want you to try to look into the future by studying the planetary arrangements to know what your life holds; look into His Word. Proverbs 4:20 says My son, give attention to my words; Incline your ear to my sayings. Realise that everything you d ever need in life is in the Word, so go for it, and not for horoscopy. Go Deeper Romans 8:14; Isaiah 31:1 Speak My life is a product of God s Word; it s preserved and sustained by the Word. 62 Thursday, May 25 YOU RE FROM HEAVEN (Heaven Your True Origin And Citizenship) T O THE BIBLE Hebrews 12:22-24 You have come to Mount Zion and to the city of the living God, the heavenly Jerusalem, to an innumerable company of angels, to the general assembly and church of the firstborn who are registered in heaven, to God the Judge of all, to the spirits of just men made perfect, to Jesus the Mediator of the new covenant, and to the blood of sprinkling that speaks better things than that of Abel. LET S TALK Some people are so deeply committed to the land of their nativity. They take pride in being African, American, British, Oriental, European, Australian, Latino, and so on. But the truth is, until you disconnect yourself from the roots of an earthly nativity, you d never really walk in the light of your salvation. You need to realise that when you re born again you become a member of the commonwealth of Israel (Ephesians 2:12). You become a member of Heaven s General Assembly. I m not making you a promise, but showing you the truth as revealed in God s Word! You become a fellow citizen in God s Kingdom when you re born again; heaven becomes your authentic homecountry. This is the reason you must look beyond your natural citizenship the country of your earthly nativity to the glorious heavenly inheritance reserved for those who are born into God s Kingdom! That s the real God s

own country, and you re a bona fide citizen if you re born again. In the countries of the world for example, to know and exercise your civic rights, duties, liberty and obligations you d have to study the constitution of your native country. In the same way, to explore and get to know your heavenly rights, privileges and inheritance in Christ, you d have to study God s Word; that s our constitution as heavenly citizens. In it, you d discover who you are, what you have, and what you can do in Christ. Go Deeper Ephesians 2:10-14; Psalm 87:3-6 Speak My citizenship is not of this world but of heaven. I m a member of God s General Assembly and Church of the firstborn. Therefore, I live heaven s life on earth, and through the Word and by the Holy Ghost, I m daily acquainted with the constitution governing the heavenly Kingdom, to which I m a bona fide citizen. 64 Friday, May 26 SUCCESS THAT NEVER ENDS (Jesus Has Brought You A Life Of Unending Success) T O THE BIBLE Proverbs 4:18 NIV The path of the righteous is like the first gleam of dawn, shining ever brighter till the full light of day. LET S TALK Success became your heritage when you became a child of God. Your path in life became one of consistent growth, steady prosperity and unending success. It s one of the many glorious benefits of the Christian life, and God s dream for you is that you consistently make progress and heap success upon success. He expects you to be increasingly fruitful and productive in all your endeavours. The Lord Jesus said in John 15:1-2, 5: I am the true vine, and My Father is the vinedresser. Every branch in Me that does not bear fruit, He takes away; and every branch that bears fruit, He prunes it so that it may bear more fruit... I am the vine, you are the branches; he who abides in Me and I in him, he bears much fruit, for apart from Me you can do nothing (NASB). In other words, if you re productive, if you re fruitful and effective in your endeavours, the Lord prunes you so you can achieve even more. It s the Father s glory for you to be fruitful in life; He wants you to excel and consistently make progress. He s more zealous and passionate about your success than you could ever be.

Thus, you ought always to be success-conscious. Note that success is not necessarily measured at the tail end of one s life; it can be measured at the different stages of your life. If you re conscious of success at the level where you are today, that consciousness will take you to a higher level of success tomorrow. Never think failure; have the success-mentality instead. Your life will be an unending stream of victory and prosperity when you develop an attitude of success. Go Deeper Psalm 1:3; Proverbs 4:18 Pray I m consistently making progress and advancing in life on a daily basis, for God has blessed me and made me great! 66 Saturday, May 27 HOPE HAS COME! (You re The Hope Of The World ) T O THE BIBLE Obadiah 1:21 Then saviors shall come to Mount Zion to judge the mountains of Esau, and the kingdom shall be the Lord s. LET S TALK The opening Scripture says, saviours shall come to mount Zion. This verse certainly isn t referring to Jesus only; it s talking about Jesus and the Church, of which you re a member (1 Corinthians 12:27). The Bible states that you re a joint-heir with Christ (Romans 8:17), a partaker of His divine nature (2 Peter 1:4). Thus, you share His love and passion to reach out to the lost and win them into the Kingdom. Jesus did His part in obtaining salvation for mankind through His death and resurrection, and now it s your responsibility to tell others about His saving power. You should be vitally involved in the all-important business of soul-winning together with the Lord (1 Corinthians 3:9). Not only has He mandated you to preach His gospel, He s also given you the power of attorney to use His Name (Mark 16:17). In John 20:21, He said,...as the Father has sent Me, I also send you. That means He has endowed you with everything you require for the mission.

Recognise that you re the hope of the world. And when you commit yourself to winning lost souls to Christ and reaching out to the distressed with the love of God, you ll be bringing much glory to Him, causing great joy in Heaven. Go Deeper 2 Corinthians 5:18-19; Romans 8:19 Speak I m a distributor of eternal verities. I m born as the answer to the cries of many. I bring solutions to my world through the power of the Holy Spirit. I give succour to the hopeless and strengthen the weak as I minister the gospel of Jesus Christ. 68 Sunday, May 28 BE QUICK TO FORGIVE (Do Away With Unforgivingness) T O THE BIBLE Luke 6:36-37 Therefore be merciful, just as your Father also is merciful. Judge not, and you shall not be judged. Condemn not, and you shall not be condemned. Forgive, and you will be forgiven. LET S TALK Most people don t value what they have until they lose it. Many don t value a friendship they have until it s gone. You see, it takes time and effort to build a friendship, but very little time and effort to destroy it. To have a lasting relationship, you have to work continually on building it. Sadly, many wonderful relationships and friendships have been destroyed by unforgivingness. Is it possible for a human person to be faultless? Certainly not! In fact, the very air we breathe is polluted with sin and unrighteousness. This is why man, with all his good works, couldn t be justified before God. His righteousness was as filthy rags before God (Isaiah 64:6). You can still use a rag for cleaning, but a filthy rag isn t useful for anything! You wouldn t even want to touch it. This was the picture of man s self-righteousness in the sight of God. Nevertheless, He forgave us and gave us His own righteousness. You also must begin to see people as God sees them and forgive their mistakes as God does.

Refuse to be negatively-programmed. Instead, always train yourself to see people positively. Such an outlook will change your life for the better. It will give you a glorious life, where you don t know how to gossip, tell tales or speak unkind words about another person, especially those whom God has brought along your path. Never judge anybody on hearsay. Learn to look for and see the best in people. Always believe the best about those you meet. Don t go on and on about how badly a brother or sister treated you; be quick to forgive them instead. Go Deeper 1 Corinthians 13:4-7; 1 Peter 4:8 AMPC Speak The love of God is shed abroad in my heart by the Holy Spirit; it mantles my mind and is working in me. It is an intense and unfailing love for people and covers a multitude of sins. It forgives and disregards the offences of others. 72 LET S TALK Monday, May 29 FROM EXPECTATION TO MANIFESTATION (Start Walking In Your Miracle NOW!) T O THE BIBLE Romans 8:19 AMP C For [even the whole] creation (all nature) waits expectantly {and} longs earnestly for God s sons to be made known [waits for the revealing, the disclosing of their sonship] Are you expecting a miracle in your body, finances, or academics? If you are, then I have a very important message from the Lord for you today. When the Lord Jesus was given the scriptures to read, He didn t read them like every other person. The confidence and authority with which He read the scriptures arrested the people s attention, such that all eyes were fastened on Him. They had been accustomed to the scriptures being read as you would a promissory note because they were still living in the day of expectation. But Jesus read the scriptures as the One anointed to fulfill them. He introduced them to the dawning of a new day; the day of manifestation. We (Christians) are not living in the day of expectation, for we were born to manifest the glory and nature of our heavenly Father. In the tenth chapter of Acts, the Bible tells us about Cornelius, a devout man. He prayed everyday with an expectation that God would visit him, and that prayer was answered when Peter showed up at his home. Peter didn t just sit there expecting God to do something; rather, he preached God s Word and the Holy Spirit came upon

Cornelius and his entire household as he preached. Peter manifested the true character of the sons of God. The Bible says, For surely there is a latter end [a future and a reward], and your hope and expectation shall not be cut off (Proverbs 23:18 AMPC). In other words, whatever your expectation is, it s as good as done. The days of expectation have birthed the days of manifestation. You can just walk into the manifestation of your expectation. We were born into the day of the manifestation; the day of receiving anything we desire from God by faith. Therefore, stop expecting a miracle and start walking in your miracle. Hallelujah! Go Deeper Luke 4:17-21 Pray Father, I have set my gaze on you and your Word alone; therefore, your glory the manifestation of your Word in my life is all I see before me, in Jesus Name, Amen. 74 Tuesday, May 30 T O THE BIBLE USE YOUR ANGELS (How To Get Your Angels Working For You) Hebrews 1:14 AMP C Are not the angels all ministering spirits (servants) sent out in the service [of God for the assistance] of those who are to inherit salvation? LET S TALK don t believe in angels. I think that they re just I characters created in fantasy stories to entertain little children, Sheila said. No Sheila, angels are real; I have some of my own, Josh corrected. Huh, how do you know they re real? And who told you that you have angels? The Bible tells me so; and guess what, I was saved from a ghastly motor accident by one. It was so uncanny! Steven went on to read Hebrews 1:14 to Sheila and recounted his different experiences of angelic interventions. Sheila then realised that she had long been in the dark about angels. Everybody has angels, and they re always with us to assist us. They wouldn t just do whatever they want to do, because they can only function within the boundaries of God s plan. In other words, your angels would function only when your confession is consistent with the Word. So, for you to put your angels to work you must be conversant with the Lord s will for your life. You can only get such information

through the diligent study of your Bible and the guidance of the Holy Spirit. Angels respond to God s Word (Psalm 103:20). Therefore, when you do what God wants you to do, your angels are happy to work with you. If you haven t aligned your confession with the Word, your angels wouldn t be able to do much for you. Learn to declare God s Word about your life consistently, and get your angels working on your behalf. Go Deeper Psalm 91:11; Hebrews 13:2 Pray Dear Father, I thank you for enlightening my mind on the reality of the ministry of angels. Do not let them depart from your eyes; keep them in the midst of your heart; for they are life to those who find them, and health to all their flesh. It ll heal your body and get rid of the flu, the migraine, the cancer, or any other unwanted thing from your body. The Word of God is guaranteed to produce results.
