6 SATURDAY 1 A New Commandment A new commandment I give to you, that you love one another; as I have loved you, that you also love one another. -John 13:34 A commandment is an order that s given by someone in authority. The Lord gave the children of Israel commandments to guide them as they journeyed through the wilderness into the Promised Land. But after the Lord Jesus came, He gave us just one commandment; love. He wants us to love the Lord and one another. This is the greatest and most important commandment. When you walk in love, you will always think good of others and seek ways to help and be kind. Therefore, I encourage you to walk in love all the time, as you do, you ll be fulfilling the most important commandment of all. LET S PRAY John 15:12 Thank you Lord for filling me with your love, in Jesus Name. Amen. 6

7 SUNDAY 2 Share It! Go home to your friends, and tell them what great things the Lord has done for you, and how He has had compassion on you. -Mark 5:19 One day, the Lord Jesus met a man who was possessed by devils. After casting the devils out of him, the Lord told him to tell others what was done for him. In other words, He told him to testify. Your testimony has power and every time you share it with someone, you re keeping the devil and all his demons on notice of the greater power at work in your life. Not only that, you ll experience more of God s blessings. What s more, those who hear you will have faith to receive a miracle of their own. This is why you should share your testimony, don t be quiet. Your testimony has power! LET S PRAY Thank you Lord for the miracles in my life. As I testify of these wonderful things to those around me, it inspires them to receive their own miracles, in Jesus Name. Amen. Revelation 12:11 7

8 MONDAY 3 You re Full of Power Now to Him who is able to do exceedingly abundantly above all that we ask or think, according to the power that works in us. -Ephesians 3:20 Have you ever looked into the bonnet of a car? This is where its engine is; the power that makes the car move comes from there. Like the engine of that car, the Holy Spirit produces in you the power to change impossible situations and do extraordinary things. But, how do you get this power working? By praying in other tongues and declaring the Word of God. As you do, you ll cause changes and produce miracles everywhere you go. Hallelujah! Acts 1:8 SAY THIS I m full of the Holy Spirit; therefore, I m full of power to cause changes and this power is activated as I speak in tongues and declare God s Word. Hallelujah! 8

9 4 TUESDAY Our Loving Father I have loved you, O my people, with an everlasting love; with loving-kindness I have drawn you to me. -Jeremiah 31:3 TLB The Lord Jesus told the story of the prodigal son (Luke 15:11-24). He collected his inheritance from his father, left home and wasted everything. Afterwards, he returned to his father repentant and sober, and his father, not only forgave him, he also organised a feast to celebrate his son s return. What a loving father! This story shows how loving our heavenly Father is. Even when we make mistakes and stumble along the way, He s there to pick us up, clean us and set us back on the right track. How wonderful it is to have a Father so loving and kind. We have a loving heavenly Father. LET S PRAY Thank you Father for loving me so deeply, truly and dearly, in Jesus Name. Amen. 1 John 3:1 9

10 WEDNESDAY 5 Love Covers All Hatred stirs up strife, but love covers all sins. -Proverbs 10:12 To lay your bed, you d spread your bedsheet over it until your mattress is completely covered by your beautiful bedsheet. In the same way, God s love is big, deep and wide enough to cover His children s sins and mistakes completely. He ll cover you with His forgiveness and mercy. Hallelujah! Now you know how amazing God s love is, tell others about it. Let them know they don t have to be ashamed of their mistakes anymore. Because God loves them very much and their mistakes can never change that. Philippians 4:8 LET S PRAY Dear Father, thank you for your great love that covers us with forgiveness, righteousness and your goodness, in Jesus Name. Amen. 10

11 THURSDAY 6 Jesus Lives! He is not here; for He is risen, as He said. Come, see the place where the Lord lay. -Matthew 28:6 The history books are full of tales of great people who lived thousands of years ago. But of all the great people there s One greater than them all. He came over two thousand years ago and He s still alive. He s the only one that death could not hold down. His Name is Jesus. He s our risen King who s alive and lives forever! He lives in you and me, and through us, He s touching more lives and delivering people from the power of darkness and transporting them into His glorious kingdom of righteousness, victory and divine health. Hallelujah! Therefore, tell someone about Him today, and lead them to say the prayer of salvation on page 48. Jesus lives in you. SAY THIS Jesus is alive and He lives in me. Hallelujah! Mark 16:6 11

12 FRIDAY 7 The Devil Is Defeated And He said to them, I saw Satan fall like lightning from heaven. -Luke 10:18 The devil is a defeated foe. Jesus took everything from him and defeated him publicly through His death, and resurrection. Therefore, the devil is and can do nothing. See why you don t have to be afraid of the devil? Jesus defeated him so you could live a life of victory and success! Now that you know the devil has been defeated, tell someone else about it. Let them know the devil has no power to stop them from being all God wants them to be. Hallelujah! James 4:7 SAY THIS The devil has been defeated. He s got no power and he can t do anything. I have the victory in Christ. Hallelujah! 12

13 SATURDAY 8 Special Times With The Lord The lifting up of my hands as the evening sacrifice. -Psalm 141:2 Worship times are special times of fellowship with the Lord. At such times, you lift your hands to the Lord in worship, and tell Him how wonderful He is. You ll be caught up in His love and glorious presence when you worship Him like this. It s the best feeling in the world. Therefore, I encourage you to take advantage of every opportunity to worship the Lord and sing praises to His Name, with uplifted hands. These are special times with the Lord. Worship times are special times of fellowship with the Lord. LET S PRAY Dear Lord, I lift up my hands to you in praise and adoration. You re wonderful, beautiful, excellent and worthy of my worship, in Jesus Name. Amen. 1 Timothy 2:8 13

14 SUNDAY 9 Jesus Has All Authority And Jesus came and spoke to them, saying, All authority has been given to Me in heaven and on earth. -Matthew 28:18 When Adam disobeyed God in the garden of Eden, man lost the authority that the Lord had given him on the earth to the devil. But the Lord Jesus, through His sacrifice on the cross and resurrection, took back the authority. Now therefore, the Lord Jesus has all authority in heaven and on earth! What s more amazing is that He s given this authority back to man; to us, Christians. We are His representatives here on earth and we have the right to act on His behalf. That s why whenever you tell the devil to leave, he has to obey, because Jesus has given you all authority. Philippians 4:4 SAY THIS The Lord Jesus has given me all authority. Therefore, I act in His place and exercise authority over all the works of the enemy and proclaim victory by my faith-filled words. Hallelujah! 14 14

15 10 MONDAY You re Immune To Sickness But if the Spirit of Him who raised Jesus from the dead dwells in you, He who raised Christ from the dead will also give life to your mortal bodies through His Spirit who dwells in you. -Romans 8:11 To be immune to sickness means to be resistant to infection or disease. That means the disease can t affect or influence you negatively because you re protected against it. When you were born again, you received the life of God. It s a life that doesn t get sick; it s immune to all kinds of sicknesses. Hallelujah! Therefore, if you re feeling any sort of pain or discomfort in any part of your body, lay your hands there, command it to go, and it ll leave. The life of God is in you, therefore, sickness or pain has no place in your body. Glory to God! SAY THIS You re protected against all kinds of sicknesses. I declare that my body is immune to sickness and pain. I dwell in divine health always because the life of God is in me. Hallelujah! John 10:28 15

16 TUESDAY 11 God Is Happy With You And suddenly a voice came from heaven, saying, This is My beloved Son, in whom I am well pleased. -Matthew 3:17 Do you know every morning you wake up, your heavenly Father is always happy to hear your voice as you pray to Him? He is! You re His beloved child, and He s happy with you. You re important to Him and more valuable than everything He s created. That s because you re like Jesus, and your life is a life of faith which pleases Him. Think highly of yourself today because you re important to Him. Chin up, chest out and walk tall because the Lord loves you, and He s happy with you. LET S PRAY Matthew 17:5 Thank you Lord for making me your pride and letting me know you re happy with me, in Jesus Name. Amen. 16

17 WEDNESDAY 12 Your Mighty Helper! And I will pray the Father, and He will give you another Helper, that He may abide with you forever -John 14:16 There s a great and mighty Helper living in you. With Him, there s nothing you can t do. With Him, Moses parted the Red Sea. He helped Joshua bring down the enormous walls of Jericho (Joshua 6:1-5). He filled the disciples with boldness to win multitudes to Jesus (Acts 2:4, 14). This Helper is the Holy Spirit! The Holy Spirit is your helper and He lives in you. He s here to help you be the best of you. Isn t that great? Therefore, spend quality time in fellowship with Him every day. As you do, He ll help, lead and guide you through life. Your mighty Helper lives in you! SAY THIS I declare that I m mightily helped by the mighty Helper-the Holy Spirit. Therefore, I can t fail, be confused or be defeated in life. Hallelujah! John 16:13 17

18 on Did you know? JESUS DAYS IN ISRAEL 1. Jesus was born into Joseph s family in a city called Bethlehem (Luke 2:4-7). 2. Jesus was a Nazarene because He spent His early years growing up in a town called Nazareth (Matthew 2:23). 3. Jesus left Nazareth after a few years and lived in Capernaum for some time (Matthew 4:13). 4. Jesus turned water into wine at a wedding ceremony in a town called Cana, in Galilee (John 2:1-11). 5. Jesus raised a widow s son from the dead in a town called Nain, before the large crowd that followed Him (Luke 7:11-17). 18

19 6. Jesus was a guest in the home of Zacchaeus, who was the chief tax collector of the city of Jericho (Luke 19:1-9). 7. Jesus met the Samaritan woman at Jacob s well in the city of Sychar (John 4:5-7). 8. Jesus was humiliated, spat on, beaten, and a crown of thorn was placed on His head before He was crucified (Matthew 27:29-31). 9. After His death on the cross, His body was wrapped in a clean linen cloth and was laid in a brand-new tomb (Luke 23:53). 10. Two of Jesus disciples met, talked, and walked with Him after His resurrection at a village called Emmaus. They didn t know He was the one at first but He later revealed Himself to them (Luke 24:13-35). 11. Jesus stopped Saul; who later became Apostle Paul, on his way to persecute Christians at Damascus (Acts 9:2-5). 19

20 THURSDAY 13 A Fountain of Blessing Does a spring send forth fresh water and bitter from the same opening? -James 3:11 Have you ever seen a fountain? It s a structure that produces jets of water continuously. The kind of water it produces depends on the source of its water. If its source is fresh then, it ll bring out fresh water only but if its source is bitter, water from the fountain will be bitter. So you see, the answer to today s memory scripture is NO ; fresh water and bitter water can t come from the same fountain. Your mouth is just like that fountain but instead of water, it brings forth words. What kind of words come from your fountain? Are they words that bless, heal and inspire? Choose to be a fountain of blessing; fill your heart with the Word of God today and always. Colossians 4:6 SAY THIS As I study and meditate on the Word, it fills my heart with good and precious things causing me to be a fountain of blessing to my world. Hallelujah! 20

21 FRIDAY 14 The Glory Arise, shine; for your light has come! And the glory of the LORD is risen upon you. -Isaiah 60:1 The glory of God isn t smoke, fire or thunder as some believe. It s His goodness, beauty and excellence. And guess what? It s upon the life of every born again child of God. Isn t that great? Are you born again? Then, the glory of God is upon you. It is what makes you stand out everywhere you go. This is why people love to come around you; they want to know more about the Lord. Therefore, Arise, shine; for your light has come! And the glory of the LORD is risen upon you (Isaiah 60:1). Hallelujah! The glory of God is His goodness, beauty and excellence. SAY THIS The glory of God is upon me and it s shining through me everywhere I go. Hallelujah! John 17:22 21

22 SATURDAY 15 Zoe Is In You! For you have a new life. It was not passed on to you from your parents, for the life they gave you will fade away. This new one will last forever, for it comes from Christ, God s ever-living Message to men. -1 Peter 1:23 TLB Every born again child of God has a new life. It s not the same life you got from your parents. It s called ZOE. It s the same life God has in Him. This life is so powerful that it destroys sickness, pain and failure, and guess what? It s in you! See why you re so different from every other child around you? You have the life of God in you (John 17:16). Therefore, with this life, touch other lives by telling them about Christ and leading them to Him. 1 John 5:13 LET S PRAY Thank you Lord for your life in me. It makes me a winner and a victor all the time and in all things, in Jesus Name. Amen. 22

23 SUNDAY 16 Seated Far Above!...God is so rich in mercy...he raised Christ from the dead only by his undeserved favor have we ever been saved and lifted us up from the grave into glory along with Christ, where we sit with him in the heavenly realms all because of what Christ Jesus did. -Ephesians 2:4-6 TLB This is such a beautiful scripture! Though you re physically on earth, you re reigning with Jesus from heaven! That is what the scripture means when it says you re seated with Christ. You re seated with Him far above every other power in the world, and all things are under your feet because of where you sit (Ephesians 1:21). Hallelujah! You re seated far above the devil and his demons. If the devil lies to you saying he ll hurt you, don t believe him! He can t touch you because you re far beyond his reach, and seated with Christ. Nothing of this world can ever hurt you again because you re seated far above them all. You re seated with Christ far above every other power in the world! LET S PRAY Thank you Lord for seating me with Christ, far above all principalities and powers, in Jesus Name. Amen. 1 Peter 3:22 23

24 MONDAY 17 Words Of Faith And Power The officers answered, No man ever spoke like this Man! John 7:46 As the Lord Jesus and His disciples travelled on a boat, He fell asleep and a terrible storm arose. The storm was so bad that they thought they d die, and they woke the Lord up. All He did was command it to stop and it did (Matthew 8:26). Wow! No one ever spoke like Jesus. He spoke with so much faith and authority. No situation can withstand His words. Jesus has given you the same authority to speak in His Name. Therefore, release faith-filled words over any and every situation you desire a change in, and the change will come. SAY THIS Mark 16:17 I declare that by my words of faith, I speak forth positive changes in my nation, family and school. Hallelujah! 24

25 TUESDAY 18 Always Do The Right Thing For His eyes are on the ways of man, and He sees all his steps. -Job 34:21 A long time ago, my friends and I were at the cafeteria. After our meal, I noticed they had an extra food pack. They d taken it out without anyone noticing. I immediately told them that even if no one saw them, God did. I asked them to do the right thing and take it back. You should always do the right thing even if no one is watching or applauding you for it. When you think no one is watching, God is. Therefore, lead an exemplary life as His child, and show others the way to go by always doing the right thing. Always do the right thing. LET S PRAY Thank you Lord for teaching me through your Word to lead an exemplary life in truth, honesty and righteousness, in Jesus Name. Amen. Jeremiah 16:17 25

26 WEDNESDAY 19 Who Is The Real You? May your spirit, soul, and body be kept healthy and faultless until our Lord Jesus Christ returns. -1 Thessalonians 5:23 CEV Do you know that you re actually a spirit and your body is not the real you? You re a spirit being that has a soul with which you think, make choices and feel emotions. Your body is just the house you live in. Actually, you re just like your heavenly Father who s a Spirit (John 4:24). You may not be able to see the real you with your physical eyes, but you will when you look into God s Word. The Word of God is God s mirror: use it and you ll see great and wonderful things about the real you. SAY THIS Hebrews 4:12 CEV I m a spirit, I have a soul and I live in a body, that s who I really am! 26

27 THURSDAY 20 The Lord Is With You and lo, I am with you always, even to the end of the age. Amen. -Matthew 28:20 Today s memory verse are the words of the Lord Jesus. It s not a promise but a reality. Think about it, while you hopped on the bus to school, you carried the Lord with you. Remember He came to live in you the moment you were born again. He s saying to you today as He said to Joshua, be bold and strong! Banish fear and doubt! For remember, the Lord your God is with you wherever you go (Joshua 1:9 TLB). Therefore, be bold and courageous, for the Lord is with you every step of the way. The Lord is with you! SAY THIS I have no fear for the Lord is the strength of my life, my salvation and my peace. Hallelujah! Hebrews 13:5 27

28 FRIDAY 21 The Best News For I am not ashamed of the gospel of Christ, for it is the power of God to salvation for everyone who believes, for the Jew first and also for the Greek. -Romans 1:16 There s news going around town and it s the best news there is. It s the news of Christ s birth. It tells of the Lord s goodness and kindness to mankind. Tell it everywhere this Christmas Season, and beyond. Don t stop at Jesus birth; also talk about His death, burial and resurrection. Let everyone know that eternal life is available to all: old, young, man, woman, boy and girl. What great news. Hallelujah! You can use the prayer of salvation on page 48 to lead them to Christ. Mark 16:15 SAY THIS I m a passionate preacher of the Gospel of the Lord Jesus Christ and I preach it everywhere I go. Hallelujah! 28

29 SATURDAY 22 Have You Been Baptised? Then Jesus came from Galilee to John at the Jordan to be baptized by him. -Matthew 3:13 The Lord Jesus was baptised by John before He started His ministry on earth. This shows how important water baptism is. When you re baptised in water, it s a sign of your final separation from the world. It also shows the resurrection of the Lord Jesus and the new life it brought you. It s important you re baptised in water. If you haven t been baptised, get the attention of your Sunday school teacher or your parents, and let them know you want to be, and they ll know what to do. It s important you re baptised in water. LET S PRAY Thank you Lord for separating me from the world as your own, in Jesus Name. Amen. Romans 6:3-4 29

30 SUNDAY 23 Celebrate God s Life in You! And this is the testimony: that God has given us eternal life, and this life is in His Son. -1 John 5:11 It s a season to celebrate and be merry. But one thing worth celebrating is the life of God in you. This is the life you received the moment you were born again. It s the divine life the Lord Jesus brought us through His death and resurrection. It is for this reason that He was born. Hallelujah! It s a life of success, peace and prosperity. And this life is available to anyone who believes. So, go out there and share this wonderful news with those you meet today. SAY THIS John 3:16 The life and nature of God is at work in me, causing me to live in complete dominion and victory. Hallelujah! 30

31 24 MONDAY Love: The Symbol of The Season For God so loved the world that He gave His only begotten Son, that whoever believes in Him should not perish but have everlasting life. -John 3:16 As you celebrate the season with your family and friends, it s important you remember what it s all about: Love! Love is the symbol of the season. It s what Christmas represents. This is the reason there are lots of giving and receiving of gifts at this time. I encourage you to think on God s love as you celebrate the season. Take out time to express love to others with your acts of kindness and generousity. Express love to others with your acts of kindness. LET S PRAY Dear Father, thank you for loving me so much and sending Jesus to die for me, in Jesus Name. Amen. 1 John 4:

34 TUESDAY 25 Jesus Makes Christmas Special For God so loved the world that He gave His only begotten Son, that whoever believes in Him should not perish but have everlasting life. John 3:16 Christmas is here again! It s one of the most beautiful times of the year, and so many people all over the world celebrate it. But do you know what makes Christmas really special? Jesus! He s the reason for the celebrations. Today, we celebrate His birth and gift of salvation to the world. So, as you celebrate this season tell someone about Him. Tell them He came to the world to take away the sins and pains of everyone, to conquer death, fear and bring eternal life to all who believe. Hallelujah! John 1:10-14 LET S PRAY Dear Lord Jesus, You make Christmas so special. Thank you for coming to save us and for bringing us eternal life. Amen. 34

35 WEDNESDAY 26 Tell Everyone About Jesus How God anointed Jesus of Nazareth with the Holy Spirit and with power, who went about doing good and healing all who were oppressed by the devil, for God was with Him. -Acts 10:38 There s a man I know who s so wonderful and kind. He came to die for the sins of the whole world. He did it because of His love for us. That man is Jesus, the Son of the living God. He s the Saviour of the world and the only way to God. He wants you to tell everyone about Him. Tell them all He s done for them; they don t have to continue in sin, suffer or be in pain anymore. Jesus has paid the price for their righteousness, healing and salvation. Glory to God! Jesus is the Saviour of the world and the only way to God! SAY THIS Thank you Jesus for all you ve done for me. I will tell of your love and saving power, and all who hear me will believe your truth and be transformed. Hallelujah! Mark 16:15 35

36 THURSDAY 27 Selfless! But among you, the one who serves you best will be your leader. -Luke 22:26 TLB To be selfless means you think of others before yourself. Being selfless is an important quality every leader must have. The Lord has raised you to be a leader and He wants you to be selfless in all you do; both to Him and others around you. If you have a plate of meal all to yourself and see a friend who hasn t had anything to eat, share your meal with that one. Remember that every act of selflessness and kindness you show to people, you re doing it to the Lord (Matthew 25:40). And you can be sure He ll bless and promote you for it. Philippians 4:4 LET S PRAY Thank you Lord for your Word to me today. Teach me and help me to always show the qualities of an excellent leader by being selfless and kind to others, in Jesus Name. Amen. 36

37 FRIDAY 28 God s Supply Never Runs Out! And Abraham called the name of the place, The-LORD-Will- Provide; as it is said to this day, In the Mount of the LORD it shall be provided. -Genesis 22:14 God is our great provider. Therefore, you have no reason to be in lack or want. His provision store can never run dry (Psalm 50:10). When the children of Israel journeyed through the wilderness; it was God that provided for them. Forty years You sustained them in the wilderness; they lacked nothing; their clothes did not wear out and their feet did not swell (Nehemiah 9:21). He took care of the children of Israel for forty years and His store didn t run out! He s got more than enough to take care of you, for, He is able to do exceedingly abundantly above all that we ask or think (Ephesians 3:20). God s got more than enough to take care of you! LET S PRAY Dear heavenly Father, thank you for meeting me at the point of my needs and giving me surplus supply, in Jesus Name. Amen. Ephesians 3:20 37

38 SATURDAY 29 Fasting Blow the trumpet in Zion, consecrate a fast, call a sacred assembly. -Joel 2:15 Fasting is more than just staying away from food, that s just a part of it. It actually is an act of worship to the Lord. It s a time to focus on the Lord, studying His Word and praying. At such times, you stay away from everything that could distract you from Him. When you fast, your spirit becomes more sensitive to what the Lord is saying to you. You see how important fasting is? As we approach the end of the year, as a church, we ll be fasting and praying. I encourage you to be a part of it. Isaiah 58:6-8 LET S PRAY Thank you Lord for teaching me about fasting today. As I take time out to fast, my mind is focused on you and I receive all you have for me, in Jesus Name. Amen. 38

39 SUNDAY 30 A Continuous Change But we all, with unveiled face, beholding as in a mirror the glory of the Lord, are being transformed into the same image from glory to glory, just as by the Spirit of the Lord. -2 Corinthians 3:18 God s Word has the power to change anyone and anything. Therefore, it s important for you to study and meditate on it regularly. Then, it ll change the way you think, talk and act. It ll make you better and improve the quality of your results. As we round up the year and prayerfully prepare for the New Year, I encourage you to let the Word of God into your spirit. Give it first place in your life; meditate on it and do whatever it says. And just as our opening scripture says, it ll keep changing you into that excellent and perfect image of the Word. God s Word has the power to change anyone and anything. LET S PRAY Dear Father, I submit my mind and will to be changed and made more excellent by your Word, in Jesus Name. Amen. James 1:

40 MONDAY 31 Prepare Your Heart But these are the ones sown on good ground, those who hear the word, accept it, and bear fruit: some thirtyfold, some sixty, and some a hundred. -Mark 4:20 Before planting a seed, a farmer would take his time to prepare the field for planting. Firstly, he d clear the weeds and till the ground before planting the seeds. Just like the farmer prepares his field for sowing, you should also prepare your heart for the Word of God. Remember, the Word of God is a seed and only a ready heart can receive it and be blessed. So, prepare your heart today, by praying about the Word, especially the Word we ll be receiving about the New Year in church today. Pray that it will enter your spirit, and produce the fruits of what it talks about. James 1:21 LET S PRAY Dear Lord, my heart and mind are open to receive your Word. As it comes to me, I declare that it produces the fruit of what it talks about, and those fruits remain in my life, in Jesus Name. Amen. 40

48 Prayer of SALVATION Say This O Lord God, I believe with all my heart in Jesus Christ, Son of the living God. I believe He died for me and God raised Him from the dead. I believe He s alive today. I confess with my mouth that Jesus Christ is the Lord of my life from this day. Through Him and in His Name, I have eternal life; I m born again. Thank you Lord, for saving my soul!
