1 What God Wants You to Know about Money Monday: Right Attitudes about Money Psalm 104:21-24 The young lions roar for their prey, seeking their food from God. When the sun rises, they steal away and lie down in their dens. Man goes out to his work and to his labor until the evening. O LORD, how manifold are your works! In wisdom have you made them all; the earth is full of your creatures. 1 Timothy 6:17-19 As for the rich in this present age, charge them not to be haughty, nor to set their hopes on the uncertainty of riches, but on God, who richly provides us with everything to enjoy. They are to do good, to be rich in good works, to be generous and ready to share, thus storing up treasure for themselves as a good foundation for the future, so that they may take hold of that which is truly life. 1 Chronicles 29:10-12 Therefore David blessed the LORD in the presence of all the assembly. And David said: "Blessed are you, O LORD, the God of Israel our father, forever and ever. Yours, O LORD, is the greatness and the power and the glory and the victory and the majesty, for all that is in the heavens and in the earth is yours. Yours is the kingdom, O LORD, and you are exalted as head above all. Both riches and honor come from you, and you rule over all. In your hand are power and might, and in your hand it is to make great and to give strength to all. Proverbs 13:22 A good man leaves an inheritance to his children's children. Proverbs 6:6 Go to the ant, O sluggard; consider her ways, and be wise. Now such persons we command and encourage in the Lord Jesus Christ to do their work quietly and to earn their own living. Revelation 3:17 "'For you say, I am rich, I have prospered, and I need nothing, not realizing that you are wretched, pitiable, poor, blind, and naked.'" Proverbs 19:4-6 Wealth brings many new friends, but a poor man is deserted by his friend. Many seek the favor of a generous man, and everyone is a friend to a man who gives gifts. Proverbs 3:5-6 Trust in the LORD with all your heart, and do not lean on your own understanding. In all your ways acknowledge him, and he will make straight your paths. Proverbs 3:9-10 Honor the LORD with your wealth and with the firstfruits of all your produce; then your barns will be filled with plenty, and your vats will be bursting with wine. 3

4 Luke 19:10 "The Son of man is come to seek and to save that which was lost." Matthew 5:7 "Blessed are the merciful." Acts 20:35 "'It is more blessed to give than to receive.'" Deuteronomy 15:11...the poor shall never cease out of the land. Proverbs 19:7 All a poor man's brothers hate him; how much more do his friends go far from him! He pursues them with words, but does not have them. Proverbs 22:9 Whoever has a bountiful eye will be blessed, for he shares his bread with the poor. Luke 6:38 "Give, and it will be given to you. Good measure, pressed down, shaken together, running over, will be put into your lap. For with the measure you use it will be measured back to you." Thursday: Giving God's Way John 3:16 "For God so loved the world that He gave His only begotten Son." 2 Corinthians 8:7-9 But as you excel in everything in faith, in speech, in knowledge, in all earnestness, and in our love for you see that you excel in this act of grace also. I say this not as a command, but to prove by the earnestness of others that your love also is genuine. He who supplies seed to the sower and bread for food will supply and multiply your seed for sowing and increase the harvest of your righteousness. 1 Corinthians 16:1-2 Now concerning the collection for the saints: as I directed the churches of Galatia, so you also are to do. On the first day of every week, each of you is to put something aside and store it up, as he may prosper, so that there will be no collecting when I come. 4

And a poor widow came and put in two small copper coins, which make a penny. And he called his disciples to him and said to them, "Truly, I say to you, this poor widow has put in more than all those who are contributing to the offering box.
