1 Beginnings: The Bible's Fantastic Four 1 1a Genesis 1:1 In the beginning when God created the heavens and the earth, 2 1b John 1:1 In the beginning was the Word, and the Word was with God, and the Word was God. 3 2a John 1:14 And the Word became flesh and lived among us, and we have seen his glory, the glory as of a father's only son, full of grace and truth. 4 2b John 3:16 "For God so loved the world that he gave his only Son, so that everyone who believes in him may not perish but may have eternal life.
